I think its the fact that not many players stay at a school for 3-4 years so you can build up that hatred for them.

Rush/Collins/Morningstar/ellis (didnt actually hate him)/mason/graham etc all stayed there for years which let the hate build up.

Will anyone hate dickenson as much as Jeff Withey? Doubtful

I'm thinking about going to Montreal around june ish.  Any pro tips?

Do you need a visa or anything to get into canadia or can I just book a plane ticket and show my passport?

Going to cancun/playa del carmen in early march now instead which has put montreal on the backburner....maybe one day montreal.

The only thing that would make me more satisfied is a trip to the final four.  So, in that way I am just as happy about this year as I am about last year.

this is where i'm at. Kinda crazy to think but like, if we don't make the FF this year, then 5 months from now if i think back on the season it will be virtually indistinguishable from last year.
I'm looking forward to our 4th straight loss to a mid major in the elite 8!

I honestly feel bad for them.

We're 7-10 against them in MHK since Beasley's crew snapped the streak. Not anything special, but AFW is gone.

We don't even do their pet butthurt things (F*ck KU, courtstorming) anymore.

And they haven't beaten us in football since Obama's first year in office.

Obama was still a senator from Illinois the last time they beat us in football  :surprised:

After the Adidas ruling, Self made some proclamation about how they are really going to to go after it now. It really makes one wonder whether the only thing that separated Bill Self from his peers in prior seasons was his access to boosters and corporations who were willing to cheat at a higher level.

Now that the field has been leveled just a tiny bit, he can't seem to do as well.  Again, obviously when it comes to head to head competition on the basketball court Tang is the superior coach, that's indisputable.  However, I suspect that we may see other coaches do the same.  So, let's enjoy this while it lasts, because there is probably going to be a long line of other coaches who claim a winning record head-to-head against Bill Self going forward!

Why is Townsend still on the coaching staff? He's been the bagman his entire career but now everyone can be a bagman.

Would suck to spend 30 years mastering the craft, rising to the top of your profession just to be obsolete overnight.

Im wondering who is ordering these bots to scrape CFB message boards in an attempt to talk about Will Howard as if the bot is a Kstate fan.

"Hey Braden, set the bots to work on some message boards today"

"Cool idea Cantilever, anything in particular?"

"Let's see how it does talking about Will Howard, new QB at OSU"

"No cap, great idea"

Needs minor adjustments but zip line from the front area of our house to where the school bus picks up is successfully in. Freaking awesome

What kind of speeds can you reach on the zipline? Has anyone been injured? If a really fat person used it would it break or would they just get going super fast and then go flying off when they hit the "stopper" at the end?

We need a video of this bad boi in action.

Got skunked all of last year due to the drought and only killed one bird in the 3 times I went out to the cat ranch in Nov/Dec this year.

Went out one last time about a week ago for the end of the season and the stars aligned. Went to my WIHA honey hole about 3 miles away from the cat ranch, it's a weedy draw in the middle of crop fields about half a mile long.

Flushed probably 25 birds walking up originally but the 3 I got were all due to Milo. We were walking into the wind along the draw and then she would get a scent and jump in a 4ft jumble of weeds and a solitary rooster came out each time...

Went back to the same spot the next day and didn't see a single bird

10/10 would recommend

MGMT was definitely a "thing" at ole katz U in 2008ish and regular on the pregame bar playlist.

I still have a distinct memory of playing drinking games a 915 lee st before the bars and hearing them come on with the lyrics "Well what else can we do, get jobs at offices and wake up for the morning commute"

Hits hard.

The vast majority of cyclists pay just as much as you in road and sales taxes. Most of the cyclists that you hate are middle to upper income, and they drive the same roads as you with their vehicles (83% of cyclists own vehicles).

Only 68% of transportation revenue is funded by fuel and vehicle taxes in Missouri.

So tax the cyclists is a dumb argument unless they're going to build infrastructure for the cyclists.
Drive your E bike up to KC and meet me on Lamar between 07:50-08:00 or 16:45-17:00 and say it to my face.

I even put it into submarine time for you.

I drive up and down lamar every day for work and there is a person that drives an E bike on the exact same commute. What really grinds my gears is you will pass them then when you get to a stop light they will take their bike on the sidewalk, get in front of everyone at the stop light, cross the street in the crosswalk then get back on the road ahead of you.

Sometimes I will end up passing this person multiple times in a couple of miles and it's infuriating...stay on the road or the sidewalk.

What’s the mosquito sitch on these Minnesota lakes during summer?

If varies, and gets worse at night.  Most of the time it isn't really that bad at all.  If you are going to be out of the water, just wear bug spray or clothes that ward them off. Camp fires work great for keeping them away.  People don't really ever notice them if they are swimming or tubing/skiing during the day, for example.

Personally, since our kids are nearly out of the house, we don't spend any time swimming really.  I'm either fishing or doing a stroll around the lake in the pontoon.  When I am fishing I am usually wearing long sleeves, like those fishing hoodies, and then a little bug spray on top of them to keep them away.  On a moving boat, they won't get you much, so the pontoon strolls are nice.

The whole thing kinda gets overblown.  Northern Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin, and Northern Michigan all have the same ecological profile, and they are all amazing in the summer. Minnesota does have the advantage of more lakes, of if you like water stuff, that's nice.  Wisconsin and Michigan have way more access to the Great Lakes though.  Duluth in MN is a super desirable place on a great lake, but definitely better in WI and MI if you like the big water 100 foot lake trout and salmon stuff.

I'd much rather chill on one of the smaller lakes in MN as opposed to the great lakes. How big is your "Home" lake up there? Boat dock on it or do you have to put in at the launch every time you take the boat out?

US of A is party rocking our face off and slamming so many hot chicks we decided to let our Nerdy lil bro Canada tag along and pick up any leftovers.

Europe is still laying in their room nursing a 3 day hangover.

The no call elbow to finister's face was very lol, especially when followed up by the phantom foul call on N'Guessan when their player tripped then the T on Tang.

Its only roundball though. We are a powerhouse football program again which is all that matters. I'm just hoping our hoops distracts me into mid march.

In the off-season, maybe Pat can sweet talk a salty old WR to join us and have one last round of glory, and be his Brady to Moss type second act.
My dream is Mike Evans signs a 2 year deal with the chefs for a championship discount... backup plan is to get tiny lil baby lockett for his last couple of years

Just seems so simple, just stop Lamar. Like double spy. Obv not that easy.

This will be a very satisfying super bowl run taking down Bills and Browns 1.0 on the road.
I feel like gay/Bolton should be able to spy him adequately.
