He couldn't have been on the rim 2 seconds  :jerk:.  I pray to god they make that call on the other end, would love to see Unkie Bill blow his toupee

with bodies flying all around him and a teammate also jumping at the rim.  in a game where he just saw a teammate carried off the court cause he got knocked to the ground when jumping at the rim.

who got hurt and when?

Did anyone understand that Technical call?  What did #10/#21 do?

they called him for hanging on the rim.   total BS call, I think he held on to avoid coming down on top of the KU player

have several friends who tried it.

I always LOL when they talk about how great it is, but they're always off it and "easing back into it"

I always liked the bugs that lived in the milk cartons in the window box.   The postage stamp artwork really sold it for me.

I read somewhere last week that (real) UK was trying to get 23,000 to attend Gameday.   Anyone know if they succeeded?

LBBIQ.

The Ivy League plays all conference games on Friday/Saturday to minimize missed classes.   The league works to schedule around travel, so a team won't have to drive far for the next days game.

I might plan a couple of specific outfits, but in general just try to make sure everything I take coordinates and is versatile incase I need to change unexpectedly.

And the secret to packing is to roll everything instead of folding.

I remember coming from high school, you get to college expecting frat guys to be a punch of collar popping alcoholic douches, and sorority girls a bunch of horny sluts.  Then you get there and realize that it's not like that at all, and feel a little disappointed.

Then I see this picture and realize that it IS that way at Colorado.
no it's not, that pic was taken for Playboy's girls of the Big 12 edition

Pathetic, that your university probably paid tens of thousands of dollars for Sketch Up images.

why is that pathetic?  SketchUp is becoming a very popular and invaluable tool for architectural rendering.

burritos are stupid (except for the frito burrito or the 5 layer $.89 one).  when i get a one i open it and take the time to sauce the inside, then rewrap.  who has time to squeeze a drop of sauce per bite, and who would like to look like the little girl doing it? LMFAO.

and ya, the $.89 5 layer is incredible deal.

I like to get a bean burrito (fresco style) along with the 5 layer burrito.  I am full for like $1.79.

fresco :flush:
ya fresco is def for pussies.

anyone else think that the fire isn't any hotter than the hot?

more peppery, less vinegary

Another bonus about Casa Velas is it's 10 minutes from the airport.       Our friends honeymooned in Jamaica and it was 4 hours to the resort!   :excited:

Casa Velas in Puerto Vallarta.

It's an adults only, boutique resort.   Very nice....has it's own little beach club where you can relax without being hounded by the masses.

We've been to Playa Del Carmen and while we loved it, we would chose to go back to Puerto Vallarta in the future.

Does the all inclusive include drinks?  Or do you have to pay for those separate? (I've seen it both ways with the "all inclusive" label)

All inclusive.   This place is top shelf.   We saw a couple at the pool get a bottle of blue label.  No lie.

No buffets, all menu service.   Great food.   Last night there we were invited to eat surf and turf on the beach by the concierge.     Do not let it scare you that the resort is not beach front.   It is 1/4 mile from the beach, but they have van that will take you to the beach club whenever you want.    We were there the 2 weeks before the big swine flu scare last year, and from what I understand they closed during the scare and renovated much of the resort, so it should be even nicer.

You also have access to the adjoining Velas Vallarta (standard mexican resort) or Grand Velas north of town (spa resort)

If you have any relatives with either RCI or are retired military, you can probably get lodging for the whole week for about $300.   That's what we did.

Thanks Mikey this is helpful.  This place has 300 fantastic reviews.  I'm going to look in to this a bit more and see what the lady thinks.

Still up for suggestions.

You won't regret it if that's what you decide.   PM me if you need any more advice on PV.

1 fire sauce per item, except the CWS.  It takes like 6, dispensed per bite.

And the new burrito is great for the price, but as one sat on my desk partially eaten the other day while I took a phone call, I noticed it smells exactly like vomit.    May not be able to eat it anymore..

UTSAtailgaters has confirmed, in a slight change, that our 2013 Home Opener will be against the Kansas State Wildcats of the Big XII North! Oklahoma State will still be a part of the schedule as well.

This means that four Big XII schools, Baylor, Texas Tech, OSU & Kansas State, have either signed contracts or are very close to doing so, in order to be a part of the UTSA 2013 & 2014 schedule. In addition to C-USA schools such as UH and SMU, also, Navy, Army and Air Force.

UTSA IS NOT WORTH VALIDATING, CURRIE/SNYDER/WHOEVER!

IIRC 2013 is the year we also will play Oregon AND Miami.

whats interesting is I ran across 2 posters I know from a totally unrelated forum there.   And I would have never guessed she'd post a MS Paint story.
