Rake, micat do you really not understand the human condition?  People have a deep need to be accepted and validated.  So do you.  This is one way people seek acceptance and validation.

of course I fail to understand the human condition. I don't think you  understand it either. We are complex beings, kat kid.

Big surprise here folks, Jason King thinks Alford was the perfect fit for small time UCLA

Stevens and Smart would seem out of place amid the bright lights of Los Angeles. They're not Hollywood enough.

ha ha, what a white midwesterner thing to say.

he does have a good point about recruiting California, but the rest of that column was pretty bad.

When I think Steve Alford, I think "Hollywood."

Funny, I think "swag".

When travelling, people seem to often do standard sightseeing regardless of their interest or enjoyment.  It's like, "I'm in Paris. You bet your ass I'm gonna get a look at that rough ridin' Mona Lisa." Silly, yet understandable.

Understandable for everyone except rake apparently.

I don't think it's really understandable, beyond people are kind of lazy sheep. But why are people lazy sheep? I don't consider that to be very understandable.

While this behavior is certainly bizarre, having no other reason for wanting to see the president of the United States in person is probably more bizarre.

it's pretty incredible how all the people celebrating the shockers win tonight on my Facebook are the same people that were pissed about the KU loss last night

I think ksu fans that were happy about ku losing and happy about wsu winning should have their scrotum pulled over their head.

It doesn't really affect us much. They let anyone into the Final Four these days.

I went to Natural Child in SF last night. It was a weird bill because their booking agent also had a goth tour coming through town whose gig feel through and they just combined the shows. I was glad Natural Child played before the last two goth bands so I could leave. The first goth band was pretty brutal. Cool Ghouls is my favorite new SF band and were very good. So was Natural Child. they're so much fun, you should go see them if they ever come to your town.

I think just about any team can beat any team in college basketball.

38186
fsd, can you explain to your pal goldbrick that this isn't the thread for this type of nonsense.

This hurts all over again.

This. I was pretty much getting past our game. I really want to feel good for WSU, but that was our bracket and we didn't even give ourselves a chance at it. :sigh:

They are way better than we are.

Obviously.

the tournament is a crapshoot

Nice yellow frames, Gregg.

How exciting for Wichita!

bacon

omg, yes. Love bacon, don't get me wrong. But it's not the end all be all of foods. It's not even the end all be all of breakfast foods.

Bacon is my favorite thing listed. The dramatic bacon love is just silly.

Also tons of people make their own bullets, so like even if you couldn't get them in a store you could always just make them if you were really determined to kill a 6 year old (assuming the hatchet route didn't interest you).

and if you really are determined to kill 23 6 year olds with hatchets, you can build your own hatchet bullets. (or hatchet-firing guns, YMMV)

Sorry, those comments were directed at all the tards above you, not you in particular.  And I don't think I'm reading too much into anything. The ironic part about this thread is that most of the people posting in it do take all of that stuff literally.

i don't think you understand this thread.

this thread is serious business for serious folks

Could always hatchet a 6 year old to death?  :dunno:

I don't know, he brings up a great point here.
