Essentially Flyertalk / Re: How Many Credit Cards Do You Have?

did anyone else buy a Coin?
doesn't make sense for me.  I only ever use 2 or 3 cards at any one time.  did you get one?  sounds like everyone that got one thinks they're garbage.

I loved my grandfather very much. he had his flaws like everyone else, but he was great man overall and was kind to everyone he met.  if he were alive today he would probably agree with everything phil robertson said in that article.  I suspect the majority of you have a grandfather like that.  just something to think about.

I think most people accept this.  The issue is, if you had a brand, would you want your grandpa telling people that or would you ask to maybe keep it to himself.

His "defenders" are saying crap that's much worse than he did.
I don't think that most people accept this.  I think most people ignore this because it's really uncomfortable to think about.

but yes, the vocal defenders of what he said are much, much worse.

the liquor store by my house put their samuel smith's winter welcome out a couple weeks ago...it was the 2010-2011 bottle.  :sdeek:  I asked the guy if they had this year's and he said "that's the stuff. we just got it out of the case."  I pointed out the date and the dust on the bottle and he was all "oh :embarrassed: "   :dubious:

it's pretty simple, unless you're trying to rack up points for a specific trip or chasing card bonuses, your everyday spend should go on either a chase ultimate reward card (freedom, sapphire or ink) or an spg card depending on which programs you value the most.  that info is assuming you're collecting points for travel.  if you're interest in cash back, you'll probably need to start another thread and/or prepare to pi'd.

the article is actually a really good read.

all of drew magary's stuff is awesome, though his biggest target market these days are parents with young kids.  also he's a great follow on twitter.

what I love most about this whole thing is it's quickly becoming the most effective dye pack in history for bigots and mouthbreaters.

Before you open, you should have a private gE tasting party, let fellow gE'ers sample your brews and take donations for it.

This.  Some of us are pretty big shots.  Would be great word of mouth for you
guys, what if the beer sucks!? would be super awkward. :sdeek:

I would probably quit my job, abandon my family and just spend 24/7 bouncing between texags and shag.

Washington is going to be in this bidding war with Texas and Alabama. Gonna be $10Mil by the time they're done.

doubt Saban goes back to the league but who knows
he may give it another shot in the league, but it won't be with washington.  he and dan snyder together would be an absolute trainwreck together...and I'm sure they both know it.

we're going to be seeing a lot more hurdles (and acl injuries) as tacklers start really shying away from hitting high.  should make for some entertaining sportscenter clips.

Hunting everywhere requires certification and most things you hunt require hunting licenses. Hogs don't have a season or limit anywhere that I am awarebof, so yeah, just go shoot one, but you still need a hunters safety cert and a hunters license.
this is true.  all you need is a general state hunting license for texas and I'm pretty sure it's the same for california.

it's a pain in the ass to hunt in california.

i know the owner's names.  they don't allow (free) hunting.

i'm sure i could find public land with pigs if i worked at it, i'm not that motivated though.  it's a pain in the ass to hunt in california.

I think you should consider a harbor porpoise. full grown they are the size of a dolphin toddler

That sounds adorable.

Hey guys, I am looking to steal a salt water aquarium big enough for a harbor porpoise.  Anyone one know where I can do this?

they like backrubs

:D

i know where two groups of pigs are feeding now, but they're both on private land and i can't get to them.  cheating bastards.
do you live in the states?  I thought you lived overseas or in mexico or something.  anyway, have you talked to the land owner?  assuming they're wild pigs, the owner probably doesn't want them tearing the crap out of his/her land.  just ask for permission.  :dunno:
