https://jezebel.com/paula-abdul-keeps-talking-about-surviving-a-plane-crash-1835445212

Quote
Odder still is that the National Transportation Safety Board’s accidents database lists no record of a plane crash in Iowa at any time between Abdul’s St. Louis and Denver-area shows in 1992. There are only a handful of aircraft accidents, in fact, in the general vicinity during the timeframe between June 19, 1992, and June 22, 1992—in Meade, Kansas, in Rocky Ford, Colorado, in Brighton, Colorado, in Falcon, Colorado. None of them seem likely flyovers 30 to 40 minutes into such a trip. None of the descriptions in their accident reports remotely match Abdul’s story.

 :surprised:

She's still forever my girl

How did I not know this was going on, this is an amazing surprise.

Pregame, the announcers thought the US needed to score 5 to make it a "respectable" victory...

It's fun to try to figure out the exact day you knocked up your girl.

Valentines Day 2002 and 2005... both kids born in Mid October.....

Love is a wonderful thing
until they end up on one of those shows on ID network (they will)

Better than ending up on the Justice network on some true crime show.

Not sure if it's possible on your extender, but could you mac address filter the extender so that only your grille would link to it?  basically banning your phone from connecting to it?

I have/had multiple coworkers with kids that are sophomores to seniors in HS.  Almost none of their kids these ages care at all about getting their drivers licenses.  Is this a kids these days thing, a small metro area thing (Tulsa sized & bigger) or just a Tulsa thing?  Anyone else noticing this?  Also, their parents don't seem to care that they could stop taxiing their kids around and have a free taxi for their younger kids.  It's very strange to me.

My oldest graduated HS in 2017 and had no desire to get a license until we made her get it junior year (didn't have full license until a senior). Our middle, we made him get his license freshman year, because he was so involved in school activities that there was no way we were driving him back and forth (25 mile round trip from our house to the high school).  Neither really had any desire to get one, they can see/talk to their friends anytime they want via internet, so why go anywhere?  Now both of them drive everywhere. Our youngest will be 14 in October, and is the only one that really wants to get a license as soon as possible. She's also the one that scares me the most when it comes to the idea of her driving....

i just took my annual active shooter training and this guy scores 4/4 on the threat indicators
yeah I wasn’t kidding about the HR thing
we have considered this. like a few of us went to lunch when he was in florida to have an earnest discussion about how likely he is to kill himself and possibly others. The hard part is that our HR is pretty much complete trash. I'm sure like most HR departments they don't really exist the protect or provide assistance to the employees but rather to protect the company from any legal action being taken against the company. So basically nobody ever says anything to HR b/c they immediately turn it into a chess game to ensure the company is clear of any liability rather than dealing with the actual issue.

Lucky for us, Ted loves talking about himself and is a very active facebook user so we are vigilant to check fb every morning because if he is going to do something its pretty much guaranteed that he would post something cryptic and mysterious beforehand.

Sounds like a guy that would Facebook live stream his attack, so stay vigilant.

We put this into our house a while back and love it. Covers all of the basement, ground floor, garage, and back yard.  I also like being able to shut off the kid's internet at the push of a button from my phone until they get their grades back up (or if they're being little asses and I just want to flex my power on them).

_33 those shirts are fantastic, if you do a Liz one I'm definitely buying. Your KC shirts are  especially the LoCain one, but the Chiefs and Roys aren't by thing.

Perhaps an "America the Busio-ful" or "A-Melia the Beautiful" shirt for the Sporting KC fans? Looking at the roster, it's the best I could come up with.

Yeah I remember that, it was like some sort of alien planet landscape down there.

That place was great. My roommate had an excellent ability to go flying over his handlebars...

Does North Dakota have a good baseball coach?

being told that oscar knew about beilein leaving for several weeks now, and michigan men in the background have been vetting oscar (why he hasn't filled the open position created by Chet Frazier leaving for VT) since the ncaa tournament.  also told that 4 out of 5 members of the Fab Five are on board with oscar, not sure which one isn't on board, but my gut says it's Jalen Rose, take that fwiw fyi.

Guessing Jalen Rose wasn't the hold out:

Californication.....  I have no idea when this show originally came out, just now watching it.

45
I really don’t have any issues with the Jaime/Cersei story. One of the only consistent plots throughout the entire series. The Euron battle was ridiculous but I did enjoy the “I’m the man who killed Jamie Lanister” line.

Unfortunately for Euron, nobody will ever know he even fought with Jamie Lanister.  They'll find his dead body by the beach, and Jamie was crushed by debris, so both lose.

It’s racist because having sex with a black guy is the punchline.

Happy to help decode it for you.

It's sexist because she's a "slut" for whoring around and having multiple "daddy options"

They're made by the same guy who made a zombie, I think they're some magic involved here.

Top 50 stadiums in the US, 4 from the Big 12:
BSFS
UT
OU
WVU?  Is burning couches an appealing attribute?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/best-stadium-in-almost-every-state-to-watch-football/ss-BBW3IJL?li=BBnb7Kz

It's not exactly the top 50 in the US, if they only include one from each state.

Let's just file this one to the Shame Yourself thread....
