Class of 2012 point guard Ian Baker has not been shy of late about his high level of interest in the Providence Friars. This past weekend Baker was at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions with the Dwight Howard Warriors and the 6-foot, 175-pounder out of Arlington Country Day (FL) took the time to discuss with ScoutFriars.com what he likes about PC and more.

Baker, a native of Washington, D.C., lists offers from Miami, Providence, South Carolina, Wyoming, East Carolina, and Central Florida. The other programs involved in his recruitment are Clemson, Boston College and Virginia.

“Miami, Providence [and] South Carolina my [top] three,” Baker said. “I’m considering those real hard right now.”

Asked if any single school is in the lead at this point, Baker replied, “I wanna say, actually, it’s two schools [I like] just the same amount, it’s Miami and Providence. If I had to make a decision right now it would be one of them.”

it's probably not worth updating baker any longer, unless his recruitment changes dramatically.

2012 pg.  sounds like the new juco's 1st workout must not have gone well.   :surprised:

it's just such a frank thing to quickly point that out.

true.

He's the first person to leave our staff since we got here

 :dubious:

yeah, funny how he had to say that. defensive much?

four years with no turnover is notable.

33760
We've seen our fair share from Jamar, Curtis, Wally, and Jordan. Haven't we?

no.  lol @ including judge, btw.

says everyone recruiting him is equal, doesn't mention kstate, has a deep voice.

33762
If he meant forward, it's a dumb statement.

with re. to watson dunking in games a lot, probably.  with re. to kstate's figger era fowards not dunking much, not really.

33764
penn state really out 'tucked themselves out this one.

no, the opposite.  any high-major a.d. considering hiring brown should be shot for stupidity.

33765
trashed the rest of our forwards for not being able to dunk  :dubious:

he agrees with me about judge's athleticism.

we're hella rich, we can afford green energy (global bling).

Was thinking the same thing myself, settled on him thinking Rick Pitino was a rapist.

that's a possibility, but based on his posting history, i think it's more likely he's referring to the forced mating of racehorses.

Semi Ojeleye, SF, MoKan Elite- The 2013 four-star is still shaking off the rust from a recent ankle injury, but he's one of the most powerfully built wing prospects in his class. As he's developing his skill level on the perimeter, he's best when using that body to his advantage and getting himself some easy buckets in the lane.

b) i don't really have a strong feel on budget but would imagine it would need to be less than $10k for flight/hotel for all 8

i think you could do it for about that.  the house would be cheap, it'd mostly just be airfare.  quito is really cheap for some reason, somaybe you should go to quito.

but i was just kidding about all those places, mostly.  i really think you go to kansas city (plaza) or tulsa (oklahoma weather).

what is the budget (for airline tix/person)?  if you hit it right, you might be able to get to uruguay via miami for something reasonable.  stay in montevideo or colonia.  you could fly into buenos aires just as easily if it was cheaper.
