Class of 2012 point guard Ian Baker has not been shy of late about his high level of interest in the Providence Friars. This past weekend Baker was at the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions with the Dwight Howard Warriors and the 6-foot, 175-pounder out of Arlington Country Day (FL) took the time to discuss with ScoutFriars.com what he likes about PC and more.
Baker, a native of Washington, D.C., lists offers from Miami, Providence, South Carolina, Wyoming, East Carolina, and Central Florida. The other programs involved in his recruitment are Clemson, Boston College and Virginia.
“Miami, Providence [and] South Carolina my [top] three,” Baker said. “I’m considering those real hard right now.”
Asked if any single school is in the lead at this point, Baker replied, “I wanna say, actually, it’s two schools [I like] just the same amount, it’s Miami and Providence. If I had to make a decision right now it would be one of them.”
apparently Evans is on this guy.
played at American Heritage (FL) his freshman year with star guard Kenny Boynton
it's just such a frank thing to quickly point that out.
QuoteHe's the first person to leave our staff since we got here
yeah, funny how he had to say that. defensive much?
We've seen our fair share from Jamar, Curtis, Wally, and Jordan. Haven't we?
If he meant forward, it's a dumb statement.
penn state really out 'tucked themselves out this one.
trashed the rest of our forwards for not being able to dunk
Was thinking the same thing myself, settled on him thinking Rick Pitino was a rapist.
Semi Ojeleye, SF, MoKan Elite- The 2013 four-star is still shaking off the rust from a recent ankle injury, but he's one of the most powerfully built wing prospects in his class. As he's developing his skill level on the perimeter, he's best when using that body to his advantage and getting himself some easy buckets in the lane.
LOL @ anyone who thinks they know where DeAndre Daniels will end up.
b) i don't really have a strong feel on budget but would imagine it would need to be less than $10k for flight/hotel for all 8
