Orlando Dr. Phillips High School has a reputation for producing outstanding scoring guards. The next explosive scorer in line is 2013 5-foot-11 point guard Rashawn Powell.
And not just a scorer at 26 points per game, Powell is also dishing out six assists per game.
Coaches are taking notice of Powell's abilities. Most recently to watch him play was Maryland assistant coach Scott Spinelli.
According to his travel team coach Diana Neal of Florida Assault, Powell has offers from Central Florida, Seton Hall, Miami, Murray State, Jacksonville and North Florida while strong interest is coming from Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Georgia, Alabama, Marquette, Virginia, Kansas State, Memphis, Georgia Tech and UCLA.
According to his AAU coach, Diana Neal of Florida Assault, six schools have officially offered. “Miami, Central Florida, Seton Hall, Murray State, North Florida and Jacksonville have offered,” she said. “The schools expressing high interest are Virginia Tech, Alabama, UCLA, Maryland and Kansas State, with Tennessee, Marquette, Florida State, Georgia, Virginia and Memphis expressing interest.”
no, you buy a lot you want a house on. you hire a builder to build the house there. you choose a house model that you want them to build. most of them will have a list house blueprints of house kinds that they specialize in or whatever but you can pick out whatever kind of house you want. they quote you the price which will include the figures for the allowances on the crap inside, roof, brick, flooring, etc. you can then go pick out the specifics on that stuff and if you pick out better stuff than they quoted you pay the difference.
Anthony Grant of Bama is watching Roberson. My bad on Florida, my brain backfired.
Florida, Kansas and Kansas St in the gym with Tyler Roberson today.
you know how there's an extra charge for floor mats when you buy a new car? same goes for new houses. you want a driveway? that's extra. deck in the back so that your back door doesn't have a three foot drop into your yard? extra. other than stuff like that, though, prices can be comparable.
Every builder has different allowances for you to spend on various parts of the house (flooring, appliances, fistures, etc.) that is built into the price. When you go over the allowance figure you are OOP.
i used to get animal style but don't get it that way anymore. don't really get into their fries. just cheeseburgers.
(almost) nothing good comes from running that set so why waste 15 seconds running something that doesn't improve your shot.
And why then was Unds suggesting we run something else if this was working so well?
yeah, i agree with you about wasting time doing nothing. just don't agree that it impacts the number of low post touches gipson gets.
this is the something else that underwood suggested, not what was working so well before he interfered.
Unless there's one in LAX I guess I'll pass. I'm going to some crappy AFB. Vandenburg or something like that.
Also, Gipson's TO% is ridiculously good (12.1%). No one last season had a TO% under 15%. He won't stay that good for the entire season, but that number is crazy and means it's good to have him handling the ball as much as is reasonable (which we are close to). This includes passing to other players.
