The sequence at the end of the game where Jevon was fouled shooting a layup (he missed), missed both free throws, got his own rebound and then turned it over was the most Jevon-y sequence ever. Also, he may have shot a layup off the side of the backboard I`m not sure. I hate him. Like more than any KSU cat ever.

ltrain grandpa farmer story...
ltrain g-pa lets city slicker ltrain disc his first field. G-pa makes the first pass then turns it over to ltrain. ltrain asks g-pa what he wants him to do when he gets done. ltrain g-pa laughs it off and says "you won't get done before i get back". so ltrain off ltrain goes, it starts getting dark, ltrain keeps going, its getting darker, ltrain finds the lights and keeps going. Meanwhile ltrain g-pa is climbing into bed when ltrain g-ma says "where's ltrain?" ltrain g-pa says 'oh crap, i left him out there'.

I'm certainly no Manhatter but I just watched his Huddle highlight vid. ltrain's take:
1. He doesn't look slow
2. He knocked a dude's helmet off
I can't speak to the swivelyness of his hips. That might not matter though since he's a LB.

I'd like to see us let Wes run the offense more with Foster and Edwards/whoever as the other guards. Especially on a night like tonight...ISU doesnt really pressure the ball so its not like you need great handles on the floor.

Also, loved the second half possession that started with an in bound under our basket and Marcus literally had his hands on his hips with the ball in play, runs around a screen, and nails a 3.
He definitely had stretches where Marcus was better, but he does not put much effort in defensively. Some of that is we don't extend our man pressure very far and we switch on every screen.
As far as offense, that should be most possessions.
He loses his man, like, a lot. And not because of a bad switch or anything. Like he's watching the ball and loses track of his guy who is standing in the opposite corner or under the basket or something.

Depends on how important you think not finishing last is. If not finishing last in the conference is important to you then its a pretty big game.

Not sure if it was exactly gut wrenching but I remember being pretty pissed off when we went to Fresno at the end of '07. Win and go bowling. We scored on a long TD run on the first series as I recall...then got pounded the rest of the game.
