I’m looking for who is arguing against stadium seating reduction and I don’t see anyone.

FYI UNC-CH is a smaller school than KU and rejects applicants at a rate that dwarfs KU.

Given that there are 230k plus D1 football seats within a 1.5 hours of CH, a seating capacity reduction would seem appropriate.
I was definitely projecting in that post after having an irl conversation.  There’s a sense of panic amongst some that reduction means no big 10 and will be the catalyst that drops them to NAIA (paraphrasing).  The article came out at KU sports, and then the KU’s AD took to twitter from South Africa.  It all seems like a gigantic poop show that doesn’t need to exist over reducing capacity.

Fair enough

KUs stadium capacity is fine for staying in the Big 12, it's absolutely not fine if they're trying to be attractive to the Big 10. Pointing out that Northwestern also has a small stadium isn't a winning argument. The Big 10 isn't going to jump through hoops to add more Northwestern.
UNC dropped their stadium attendance from 62k to 50k and still remain one of the top targets for expansion.

And sure, Northwestern is an extreme example of capacity reduction, but it won’t matter if KU stays at 47k or drops to the low 40’s, they have to do something to fill the stadium consistently and add premium seating.  And KU’s BIG10 invite would come due to the basketball program, not because of the football program having a 50k seat stadium.

I don't get it.  Doesn't a smaller stadium make them less attractive to the Big 10???
Northwestern is building almost a billion dollar stadium at 35k capacity, it’s fine.

Can’t believe they are wanting a restaurant mall next to the stadium

My quest to have a boy has come to a crashing defeat.  Our 4th and final child will be a girl.....just like her 3 sisters.   :bang:
You can always try again!

I’m an inbox zero kind of guy

It is literally impossible for me.  It would be more than a full time job reading and sorting without taking any action.  I am team rusty.
This is where i’m at.  I’ve got filters fixed to put emails to where they need to go and i can still tell there is a problem due to rapid unread email growth.  I just verified i have one filter/folder with 1.9 million unread. Might mark all as read

Bob’s attorney: at this point, the best thing you can do is take a plea deal. What degree of felony should we plead to?
Bob: why settle for 2nd when 1st is available?

Sounds like Grant Brix is gonna take an official visit to Bama.  Don’t like that one bit.

forgot UIUC has the Hawks in lawrence this year.

Might load up on my Illini gear and swing over to lawrentucky and talk a lot about how hayseedy everything feels.

Got a call from an Illini alum bro.  He and his boys are hitting that and then heading to MHK to watch KSU host the men of troy the next morning.  Wanted me to participate in the second leg of that adventure.  I was happy to accept.  Should be a fun weekend in the sunflower state
We’ve got UI alumni fam that are possibly coming down as well.  I think we’re all probably going to attend Friday Night lights Lawrence edition

geez fellas, we brow beat them into removing the track and now you are goiogn to force them to take down the clipart.  At some point you will ruin all of the jokes
We might get a soccer clip art guy if they are actually going to update the stadium to get a World Cup practice match(?).  That could actually be a best case scenario for jokes.

My guesses (not in order)

UCF - Malzahn gets them humming if he stays
KSU - KK is still here, hopefully
TCU - location, school commitment
Baylor - location, school commitment
Houston - location, school commitment
I would probably replace Houston with Texas Tech.  But i can’t disagree with that list if the coaching staffs stay relatively the same.
