Well, how interesting! It seems the U.S. Department of Justice has changed its  website. Gone are the colorful red, white and blue U.S. flag decorations on the page,

replaced by stark black and white.

And at the top of the page, is a rather interesting quote:

"The common law is the will of mankind, issuing from the life of the people."

Catchy, huh? Just one tiny little (too small to be relevant obviously) point -- the quote is from C. Wilfred Jenks, who in the 1930's was a leading proponent of the "international law" movement, which had as its goal to impose a global common law and which backed ‘global workers' rights.'

Call it Marxism, call it Progressivism, call it Socialism -- under any of those names it definitely makes the DOJ look corrupt in their sleek, new black website with Marxist accessories to match.

See for yourself:  http://www.justice.gov/

How very interesting that 'they' couldn't find a nice quote from one of our Founders. People, we have lost our Republic. We need to get it back ASAP.

Common law is the system of deciding cases that originated in England and which was latter adopted in the U.S.

Common law is based on precedent (legal principles developed in earlier case law) instead of statutory laws. Common law is civil actions one to another where a tort (or wrong) is shown by real damages and to fix blame and determine compensation or restitution.

The U.S. is a common law country. In all states except Louisiana, which is based on Napoleonic code (not much different than common law), the common law of England was adopted as the general law of the state, or varied by statute. Today almost all common law has been enacted into statutes with modern variations by all the states.

In the USA a person can face both statutory law prosecuted by the state or federal government and civil action for the same offence.

Broad areas of the law, such as property, contracts and torts are traditionally part of the common law. Because these areas of the law are mostly within the jurisdiction of the states, state courts are the main source of common law. The area of federal common law is primarily limited to federal issues that have not been addressed by a statute.

In the USA no common law, or statute, can not go against the State or Federal constitution, regardless of what some subcultures desire other wise.

In a general sense common laws are universal rights and wrong tested over the history of man kind, that are larger than any one person, group of people, or a nation of people, in order to have justice and to fix blame where property and people are damaged by each other. Common laws over ride and are superior to customs and cultures. Custom and cultures can be savage and barbaric, where as common laws seek out the better goods.

You can have a custom and or a culture of raiding (robbery), raping, and murders, but common laws forbid this behavior, as it is universally wrong to damage your neighbor no matter what the customs or culture may be, regardless of what any holy books, or G-d, may say to the contrary.

The will of man kind can be horribly wrong and misguided as history has shown many times over; hence we have common laws for positive, beneficial, guidance to the individual and to society.

Common laws depend on the philosophy of universal rights and wrongs, and the philosophy of justice as compensation and No cruel and unusual punishments, rather than naming and listing each offence as in statutory law.

The classic example would be to “love others as yourself” where as you would not want to be robbed so do not rob others. The statement has untold applications. In addition the punishment must meet the crime and not be over bearing as to be cruel, or too light as to enable wrong doing.

This is law 101, learned in the first week at any first year law class.

It is easy to see Obama does NOT have a clue what he doing with the USA justice department. He is as dumb as a stump and trying to destroy the foundations of the USA with some crap from a Marxists/union hand book. I beginning to doubt he ever went to Harvard and learned something. I bet he failed lunch.

Wake up people!  It's happening all around you!

Sun rays cause hydrogen bonds to break down over time in non-moving water, creating unstable hydrogen molecules. When digested, these unstable hydrogen molecules can cause havoc on a person's intestines. Affects are similar to that of going through chemotherapy.
So non-fatal then?  What about the dog germ aspect?

Dog saliva is a healing agent. Would essentially reverse any damage cause by sun dried/dehydrated water being used.
So would nothing happen?  I would like some discomfort to occur.

By the way, this thread just goes to show you that the co-called medical school in our state is a joke.

Is dog water dangerous to drink?  The reason I ask is because I have been getting harassed lately by these little hoodrats asking me to buy magazine subscriptions.  The first one who asked was given a firm and polite "NO", but now they are coming in waves.  I am pretty sure the last one kicked over my mailbox after I shut the door in his face, so I am going to take the issue into my own hands.  I have a pretty old dog with some digestive issues and I am going to take some of his bowl water and put it in a glass and offer it to the next punk who knocks on my door.  I don't want to to any permanent damage that could get my in legal trouble, but I do want them to get "sick" enough to leave me alone.

So can you really hurt someone with dog water? (His water is outside in the sun if that makes a difference)

WHERE YOUR TAXES GO - ILLEGAL ALIENS

1. 40% of all workers in L.A. County (L.A. County has 10 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This was because they are predominantly illegal immigrants, working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3's of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 25% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in L.A. are Spanish speaking.

10. In L.A.County 5.1 million people speak English. 3.9 million speak Spanish (10.2 million people in L.A.County).

(All 10 from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops but 29% are on welfare. See...

http://www.cis.org/

Over 70% of the United States annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York) results from immigration.

The cost of illegal immigration to the American taxpayer in 1997 was a NET (after subtracting taxes immigrants pay) $70 BILLION a year, [Professor Donald Huddle, Rice University].

The lifetime fiscal impact (taxes paid minus services used) for the average adult Mexican immigrant is a NEGATIVE.

29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

THIS IS WHAT BARRY IS WILLING TO PAY TO SEIZE POWER!

SAVE OUR COUNTRY!

'noudji,

This guy fasted and prayed, for what felt like forever, for direction on where to go.  Other than the lack of guns, seems like he would be right up your alley.

Look at every proud man and humble him, crush the wicked where they stand.

Maybe you pukes should spend less time worrying about stripes and logos and more time enjoying the last few years we have left with one of the best football coaches of all time.  It's not what is on the jersey, but what's inside that counts.  While you little boys obsess over the Brown Brothers, I will be supporting the 'Cats who want to be here, who have given it their all in summer workouts, and who understand the humbling concept to teamwork.  That joke Ron Prince was worried about how we looked on TV, LHC Bill Snyder worries about how we look on the scoreboard.  You chumps don't even know what we've got here.

Yes, these are the type of clear thinking people we need in congress, not bogged down with thoughts of "is it OK to say that?". :driving:
I think you are trying to be sarcastic like most weak-minded liberals, but you are correct.  We as an entire nation need to do and say things that must be said and done, even if they hurt people's precious feelings.   It is always OK to say the truth.

No, no sarcasm. I'm with you Tan man. It probably threw you off when I say I like gays, but I am a conservative living in the land of fruits and nuts, so I realize they are good people born the way they are. Some are even more conservative than I am.
Well you can think want you want, but I would never associate with fruits any more than I would hang out with pedos.  They may be "economically" conservative (aka Log Cabin Republicans), but that is only half of the equation.  You must also be socially and morally conservative.  You Arlen Specter types are useful sometimes when voting comes around, but when the times comes to stand and be counted for something revolutionary I won't be expecting any of your types (no offense that's just the way it is, you have become numbed to it I guess).

No not numbed, just exposed. I have spent many hours talking with several gay friends regarding their thoughts on why they feel the way they do, and came to my own conclusion. They are born the way they are, and I refuse to believe that God would create a kind and good person just to send them to hell when they die.

What you believe about G-d is immaterial.

There is nothing that keeps wicked men, at any one moment, out of hell, but the mere pleasure of God.

God has laid himself under no obligation by any promise to keep any natural man out of hell one moment. God certainly has made no promises either of eternal life, or of any deliverance or preservation from eternal death, but what are contained in the covenant of grace, the promises that are given in Christ, in whom all the promises are yea and amen. But surely they have no interest in the promises of the covenant of grace that are not the children of the covenant, and that don't believe in any of the promises of the covenant, and have no interest in the Mediator of the covenant.

So that whatever some have imagined and pretended about promises made to natural men's earnest seeking and knocking, 'tis plain and manifest that whatever pains a natural man takes in religion, whatever prayers he makes, till he believes in Christ, God is under no manner of obligation to keep him a moment from eternal destruction.

So that thus it is, that natural men are held in the hand of God over the pit of hell; they have deserved the fiery pit, and are already sentenced to it; and God is dreadfully provoked, his anger is as great towards them as to those that are actually suffering the executions of the fierceness of his wrath in hell, and they have done nothing in the least to appease or abate that anger, neither is God in the least bound by any promise to hold 'em up one moment; the devil is waiting for them, hell is gaping for them, the flames gather and flash about them, and would fain lay hold on them, and swallow them up; the fire pent up in their own hearts is struggling to break out; and they have no interest in any mediator, there are no means within reach that can be any security to them. In short, they have no refuge, nothing to take hold of, all that preserves them every moment is the mere arbitrary will, and uncovenanted unobliged forbearance of an incensed God.

The God that holds you over the pit of hell, much as one holds a spider, or some loathsome insect, over the fire, abhors you, and is dreadfully provoked; his wrath towards you burns like fire; he looks upon you as worthy of nothing else, but to be cast into the fire; he is of purer eyes than to bear to have you in his sight; you are ten thousand times so abominable in his eyes as the most hateful venomous serpent is in ours. You have offended him infinitely more than ever a stubborn rebel did his prince: and yet 'tis nothing but his hand that holds you from falling into the fire every moment; 'tis to be ascribed to nothing else, that you did not go to hell the last night; that you was suffered to awake again in this world, after you closed your eyes to sleep: and there is no other reason to be given why you have not dropped into hell since you arose in the morning, but that God's hand has held you up; there is no other reason to be given why you han't gone to hell since you have sat here in the house of God, provoking his pure eyes by your sinful wicked manner of attending his solemn worship: yea, there is nothing else that is to be given as a reason why you don't this very moment drop down into hell.

O sinner! Consider the fearful danger you are in: 'tis a great furnace of wrath, a wide and bottomless pit, full of the fire of wrath, that you are held over in the hand of that God, whose wrath is provoked and incensed as much against you as against many of the damned in hell; you hang by a slender thread, with the flames of divine wrath flashing about it, and ready every moment to singe it, and burn it asunder; and you have no interest in any mediator, and nothing to lay hold of to save yourself, nothing to keep off the flames of wrath, nothing of your own, nothing that you ever have done, nothing that you can do, to induce God to spare you one moment.

Why would the group not allow gays and atheists? Not very christ-like, imo.

Why would gays and atheists want to be a part of a christian group? Not very gay/atheist like, imo.
Being gay does not make one an atheist or not a Christian.  The most Christian man I know is gay.
You cannot be gay and a practicing Christian anymore than you can be a murderer.  Once again we get activist judges who wish to bend and destroy the moral fabric this country was built on.  Being gay is wrong in every Christian sense.  The Bible is 100% clear on this issue.

The bible is also 100% clear about cutting off your son's hand if he spites you. Plz give your thoughts on hand-cutting, thx in advance
You need to read the New Testament.

But beside that, my son never spited me because I raised him in the proper manner.  If he had disobeyed me, the consequences would have been dire, but legal and in the spirit of the Lord.

I've read the New Testament, where Jesus said "hey, so, Deuteronomy? it's all a bunch of (censored). Don't pay any attention to it." (Luke 5:21)

Glad we both agree on this!

Have been bitten twice by fiddlebacks (brown recluse). As long as you notice the bite early and go to the doctor and get antibiotics, you won't see that type of reaction. The spot turned a little brown and was kinda uncomfortable (bit on the wrist/forearm both times).
I have been bit 3 times (twice in the barn and once in the attic).  All you need to do is make a paste from ashes and cover the wound for three days.

Well, well, well it is unraveling before our eyes.

As I have always said you can't spell Dominique Sutton without quit and you can't spell Frank Martin without Affirmative Action Joke.
Buy hey, we can all go bask in the glow of our Big 12 Runner-Up trophies and our Almost Made it Out of the Regional banner.  Why you guys keep blindly defending Frank (one somewhat smart poster has dubbed you Frank-ites) while dragging down the only coach as K-State who has won something worth a damn is beyond me.

I am sure this thread will devolve into people calling me names or getting upset that am not as "PC" as you would like, but relax.  You can always go back to reading you threads about dandy-boy TV shows and what kinds of imported beers you pretend to enjoy.

50
The Problem is . . . I want to be good for a long time.   Frank is literally rewriting the Lon Kruger road to insignificance right before our very eyes.

It is amazing to me that people can't see this.  Frank has been riding the Huggins coattails for a while now.  All Frank does is bring in his "style" of players that he treats as favorites and runs off the players whose last names don't have accents.   But hey, we get mentioned on ESPN Deportes every once in a while!

Frankites! I love it!
