So, got four tenderloins the other day so I'm doing the other two tonight.  Have leftover salad as well so we're having that again too.     Tell me about these grilled vegetables and which ones are the best and how to prepare them (I'm assuming oil and salt :dunno: )

asparagus is really easy and pretty decent. a little bit of sea salt and a little bit of olive oil. hard to mess up.

May go with this.  mrs. dave hates the stuff but I enjoy it.  may do some sort of potato with japs in tinfoil type of concoction too.

potato and japs in tinfoil is good. also good is potato, butter, garlic, rosemary & thyme.

true story... i stopped going to royals game four years ago because of the amount of people that would come up to me and ask for free tickets. it wasn't a big deal to tell them "no" once or twice,  but it just became too much. really, really frustrating. 80% of them had on "ku jayhawk" apparel on when they were begging for free tickets. just weird.

college roomate worked there.  Would fill up about 100 stamp cards and trade them around manhattan for various services (beer, haircuts, etc.)

the one in mtc (manhattan town center, lmao n00bs) was so close to the counter that a person walking through after the mall/food court closed could've just easily reached over and spun as many as they wanted.

I still remember going and getting the "special," which was you, and DD, giving us whichever sandwich we wanted for the price of a Veggie.

wow. hopefully we gave you drinks and chips for free or something. if not then sorry. if i had it to do all over again...  :frown:

however....they did (hypothetically, along with everything mentioned above) keep track of bread and everything else. so there's no way that we could've really given away anything for free.

if i had any power over this site, i would make sure that people would have to take a quiz before they used that stupid fracking thing. i don't though, so carry on.

its called poster intimidation and it works like this

No information that comes out of spring practice is useful for predicting anything about what the season will be like.

for the record (although sys might somewhat disagree), i could eat stuff like that every single day of the week and not get sick of it.

I'm pretty sure theyre all terrible

which makes me wonder why someone would think that coffman would be fourth on the depth chart ahead of three other qbs that have never played a down of meaningful d1 football before spring practices have even started.  :dunno:

what's with the kid a few episodes ago telling locke that "you killed him and it's against the rules or whatever" something like that. was smokey/locke not supposed to kill jacob and him kicking him the fire the actual thing that killed him and not ben stabbing him? did jacob have this planned out in advance?

also, why is the jin/whatshername not a good back story? seems like jin is tied in with the dark/bad side and whatshername not.

anybody? don't read conspiracy theorys on the web but these seem like a big deal and haven't been mentioned.

Coffman's terrible. What's surprising about that? He's lucky he still has a scholly.

what makes you think the other three aren't terrible? if you think that.

Someone I know who is friends with Billy Cosh said that Billy and Klein look like front runners, while Slamur is behind them both.  Harper is def WR and not that good (just talks a lot of crap).  I cannot not vouch for the reliability of either myself or this source  :dunno:

so, on a bsnyder coached team,  coffman went from starting qb and captain one year to fourth string qb (before spring practices) and behind three guys that have never played d1 quarterback before...ever?

i believe you, but not your friend or not billy or not the person that told billy that or not the person that told the person to tell bill that or.....

Alamo or above.

But would rather win North.  Not even close.

winning the north is amazing, cause you're one game away from an elite bowl. kinda like the elite 8 of the bball tourney imo.

I mentioned this to Limestone earlier, but what do you want to bet that “Living la vita loca” was all along just a euphemism for unprotected anal sex?

do you think "she" is penis? also, martin could easily blow up again if gaga let him open for her or something.

any controls on those stamps?  seems like they should have some sort of internal controls to limit the very thievery that you describe.

no there was none. i don't think they do the whole "stamp thing" anymore though. probably for reasons like previously described above. we also took 80 pieces of the precooked bacon w/ us on our senior ski trip.  :lick:

19543
any better feeling in the world than when they would give you extra stamps? i don't know.

also, subturd pretty much sucks unless you're lucky enough to unearth on that doesn't suck.  a good subturd is pretty good, OCCASIONALLY.

for what it's worth, Jimmy Johns blows subturd out of the water.

if i eat at subturd i get sweet chicken terriyaki or meatball, only prob with the meatball is my burps for the 12 hours after eating one.

i worked at a subway in highschool and we would crank out a hundred stamps and then use them in opposing towns when we went to away bball and fball games and stuff.  :fatty:

btw. Iowa Western is in Omaha and I didn't even know they had a basketball team

Can't believe you've already forgotten the previous EMAW who was from Iowa Western.   :nono:

Galen  :excited:

 :bball:

Anyone remember the dude that defended him on KStateFans b/c he was dating his daughter or whatever after he got booted?

Good times.

he used to smoke with the people that "lived next door" to us on fairchild all the time.  :eye:

<----- researching Puerto Vallarta

This is the best place on the list.  Awesome awesome place.

Damn, that almost seals it, because when Cire thinks something is awesome awesome, in reality it's probably awesome awesome awesome awesome.

JFC shazbot! you guys.

I liked PV for the excursions, fishing, mountain horseback riding, great non touristy feel that you don't get in the Yucatan.  Great food.

Well la-di-frickin-da moneybags.  I would probably love tuttle creek for at least a day if I had a mountain bike and a horse.  Awful answer.  Anyone want to bail him out?

i agree w/ non toursty feel.  good weather. some decent beach areas. cool cafes, restaurants, shopping, drinking areas. easy to get to. fairly inexpensive flights, good food, drinks, etc. seems like a good deal for someone who wants to go somewhere warm/beachy but only has a few days to do it.

where would you suggest?

Agree with all of this.  Water is not good for swimming or snorkeling, but if you want to chill on beach not bad.  Much better downtown than most Mexican tourist trap downtowns, but honestly don't set the expectations too high.  The airport to hotel row is really short drive iirc.  I think that there are a lot more things to do besides beach bum than other similar spots, it is very safe and the cost is reasonable.  I just was wondering if there was something I was missing.  If you go out for a nice meal, don't expect to get off overly cheap.  If you go out for street food, or buy your drinks and drink on the beach, then it will be very cheap.

Cheap is great, of course, but is it nice/clean enough that my wife will enjoy it? Mainly talking about restaurants and shops here. Also: beaches.

it more than was for me, but if it is a big concern to you and your wife then it's probably not for you.  :dunno:

What's the travel time after the flight (i.e. where do you fly into and how long a drive is it from the airport to PV)?

Cire: beginning of summer (June-ish).

airport is in pv. pv is around 300,000 people, so it's not a tiny town. depending on the hotel you stay at, it could be a five minute drive or a 35 minute drive.

like the sweet onion sauce.  I get turkey or ORC and i get every vegetable they have.  Except cucumbers.

I go turkey on wheat, american, lettuce, olives, banana peppers, japs, vinegar, salt, pepper

just a heads up...the turkey was five dollars last week but it was 6.75 this week.  :runaway:

I'm prolly going to get a $5 foot long on the way home from work :dunno:

true story........ i've gained ten or fifteen pounds in the last year or two. have eaten cheeseburger and fries every day (almost). decided last week to stop. not a lot of food options close to where i work though. decided to start getting a five dollar footlong every other day because the subway on my way to work opens up at 7:00am. eat six inches, bag of baked lays and 24 ounces of water. have done it for seven days in a row now. no cheese, no mayo. i'll be skinny in no time.
