i get tan quickly and w/out the use of product. once i get "good", i have used the product below exclusively for about four years. 1)it smells kind of (not a lot) citrusy. 2)it's a spray. i laugh. absolutely laugh at people still using lotions. 3)it's good. real good.

meh, whatever you say Lemons and LMFAO @ spf 30.  FTL.

Listen gramps, I don't have 3 years to wait for my shoe to feel great.  I demand that crap right out of the box.

No, you listen, sonny boy.

3 "wears" not 3 "years".  Not a typo, although I could have used a better word.  I meant after wearing them 3 times.

Tip #1: Sub-par leathers can feel softer out of the box and fool you into thinking they will be more comfortable over the life of the shoe.  Are those Cole Haans even real leather?  (Uppers, of course.  Those soles don't even deserve mentioning).

Tip #2: There are better places to buy shoes than Dillards.

I own three pairs of sh1tty allen edmunds.  They are not comfortable.  And the fact that you think they are some elite brand is LMAO.

guys, guys, guys... have we learned nothing from this thread? we are all humans. no? we all have different wants, needs, desires, feet, etc. let's let bygones be bygones. sd doesn't like ae. dc does. potato/potato. no?

Daris, are you going w/ the fam or by yourself?  Work trip?

Rusty, just a warning - expect it to be cloudy a lot.  The weather in San Diego in June is suspect (suspect for San Diego standards)  meaning it is usually cloudy, at least until late in the afternoon.  Also, the water temp doesn't usually start warming up until July.  Just fyi.

solo for the first three days. wife and three year old for the last three.

If you are staying within walking distance of the beach in La Jolla I would do that.  Otherwise find something within walking distance of the beach in the Pacific Beach or Mission Beach area.  If you don't really care to be able to walk to the beach I would stay downtown and just drive to whatever beach you want to each day.

downtown seems lame. i would much rather stay on or a block or two away from a beach w/ little shops and bars and wear flip flops and stuff. sd said la jolla is really good for that and it sounds like you agree. la jolla it is. is there a specific la jolla beach area that i should be in or anything? landmark or restaurant or something that i want to be close to?

Key for K-State fans; learning that his home country is Colombia, not Columbia.

It took quite a few time to pronounce Denis' name correctly. Most just called him "that latino feller".

"Clem-int-ee?  Is that the kid from Pwer-to Rick-o?"

old guy next to me calls Denis cli-mu-na

did he see you type this?  :ohno:

going to san diego in two weeks. probably going to stay in la jolla though. is this a good choice or should i just stay in san diego. beaches? thoughts/ideas. does "san diego" count as tropical? i don't think it does.

it's more mediterranean.  I'm also going to San Diego in June, but this thread still makes me feel poor.  :frown:

i'll hide a twenty dollar bill somewhere and give you hints on where to find it.
