If Kstate doesn't win by 28 this Saturday.... the entire staff should be fired on the team bus.....

Last year the game was actually in doubt in the 3rd quarter...that in itself was the writing on the wall.

This time around, Wefald can't falsely take credit for the hire.

Remember when our editors in chief were giant studs?

the best part? as everyone else is cheering mindlessly for the cats, this elite fellow has his eyes on the prize..."1:09 left kids. Still got some ballgame left"

What was the name of the guy who had to literally jump out of his window into the bushes to keep from getting his azz whipped? that was in 1999. Man miss those days of amazing hoops journalism as our team was the worst in the Big XII.

TCU will be better than us next year....no question...

so will about 6 or  other teams in the league... Oh and Oklahoma.

6
rough ridin' listen to yourselves...

Losers....

"Women and children were appalled by the vulgarity being screamed loud enough on the sideline for a third of the coliseum to hear. Many complained to the AD."

That's why we'll always be smalltime losers... because an AD actually considered firing a guy because he used bad language on the court and people complained.

Think South Carolina gives a crap?

Two sides to every story....

Great stuff as always!

Well let me go back in the KSU media guide and find a scenario where two former KSU head coaches squared off in the NCAA National Title game

(shuffles papers)...

Nope, never happened.... and in the context of us having to deal with oscar Weber.... You can seriously rough ridin' eff right off!!!

9
I mean... it has to happen.....

10
Will Spradling had his girl voice feelings hurt, cried to mommy and daddy and it got back to  John Currie and it was all the excuse John needed to tell Frank "hey, I didn't hire you, so there's the door...I'm the AD".

RIP KSU Hoops until, maybe.....2020.... Who knows by then. ? We might make the Tornament.

K-State basketball is dead.  No amount of explaining or extrapolation or generalization is going to change the fact that we have now regressed to one half step better than we were 15 years ago and it's not going to improve next year, it will likely be worse.

I'm not going to a game. I'm not donating... Why should any fan ask to pledge when KSU won't support a winning program?  They are as tight as uncle scrooge..and we'll forever be small time until we figure out how to bid with the big boys....

Man we're so lucky LHC Bill Snyder didn't dump us all those years ago because he was trough chasing the dollar...but that was the early 90's .......and this is now.

13
Why would underwood want to come to kst

Lots of reasons but KSU won't pay what Illinois will...// That's a fact..and that's why Bramlage is a joke again.

14
HEY LOOK I WAS RIGHT ABOUT THIS TOO!!!!

15
I'll still feel pretty ashamed we are stuck with oscar for another mediocre year....

"Self: "Certainly his (Jackson's) role or playing time, whatever will only be dictated by what happens between the lines. It won’t be dictated by anything else. I think he’s ready to go.”

WOW, that's full on nuclear option stuff right there.

How many sunshine pumpers we got that think Kstate will get this done tonight?

Just like Snyder, he's trying to build quality men, fellas... Its just that LHC Bill Snyder doesn't have to run him off his team to make that happen

Too bad oscar has to play everyone twice in our league, unlike his friends in the Big 10.

He talks about our league is just so tough, we had to fight it out with the 9th place team in the league (TCU). I guess he does not understand that we are crap too, that is why it was a dog fight.

YOU GOT IT ALL WRONG, MICHIGANCAT, oscar IS THE REASON MARCUS IS SUCCESSFUL NOW!!!!!

“Marcus made some bad decisions and it’s what happened,” Weber said. “We did our best to try to help him and if I did something to help him in life by saying, hey, you’re not part of this program anymore and it hit a nerve and it helps him for his future, it’s a positive thing for him and I’m doing my job as a coach.”
Read a quote like that, and meanwhile we got a guy 90 miles to the East that is lying to the police and victims families to protect his rent a player so they can win Championships.. Its as if our school exists merely to balance out their bad karma.

"I'm just gonna focus on basketball," Cronin said. "We've had a great year and I'm gonna focus on coaching my team -- try to go out there and win two games in our third trip to the West Coast in the last four years in the NCAA Tournament."

Cronin elaborated a little, saying he feels bad for parents who've had to travel long distances to see their sons play in the tournament.

"Here's the downside, and this is not just for us," Cronin said. "Troy Caupain, three of four years, he and Kevin Johnson and Zack Tobler go to the NCAA Tournament. They're in Spokane twice and Sacramento once. It's really not easy for their families. Other than that, and that's a big thing, we don't believe in excuses. That won't be talked about at all on our end."

Yeah, they don't believe in excuses and they aren't going to talk about it...., but,  Cronin is going to make a huge talking point about what a pain it is for a 6 seed to travel to the West Coast in his first address to the media after their selection. Got it.

I think emaw has the mental edge right now....#ncaaallin
