That front entry will be sweet.
Looks to be a large atrium with a sawtooth glass roof?  That will give the complex a grand entrance feel when you walk in.
Maybe a marble floor with a giant powercat?  Grand stair?  fountains?

I am picturing this for the lobby

Yes, but with purple lighting.... Sean Snyder sitting on the edge of the fountain, ready to greet stud recruits.
Can someone make this happen??

Field Side =
Street Side =   :blank: not a fan of the mini castle

squawk outed
It just looks goofy compared to the WSC.  Like the rendering guy copy and pasted the WCS at 1/2 scale and called it good.
Hopefully they change it up a little bit, or connect them to look like one continuous building.

It will definitely stand out from the rest of the stadium.  Did the grass areas have terraced limestone walls or an even slope like it is now?

So it's for sure there are 15+ rows of new seats.  It has to be if they are connecting the west and east concourses.  Does this put us in the 55,000 range?

The northern-most section in the student section will be eliminated to make the east and west sides even across. Not sure what this does to overall capacity.

Is this super duper for sure? Because good rough ridin' riddance to those Kyle Field'y seats. Wooftown.

Yeah. Common sense too. Sides can't be connected if one side has a whole other section extending to the north. Unless we wanted the north end zone to be angled.  Which would be pretty weird.

makes sense.  I assume the seating slope and number of rows on the west matches the east.  So why are they breaking the seating with grass areas?  Maybe the NEZ is only a straight section of seating with no curve to it?  Maybe it is steeper or shallower than the rest of the bowl?

You know Currie wants to have a big event to unveil this thing.  But it seems like he is waiting to long.  Pics are going to be leaked sooner or later.

Does he do it at the KU basketball game in early February??? :emawkid:

From people who work and/or are around the bar scene in L town, a volleyball player was "used".

So where are the stadium lights going to be on the west side now?  I would think the current light poles are coming down and being replaced.  Are they going to be on top of the stadium  :crossfingers:, similar to what Nebraska is doing with their east side expansion?  I know we have had trouble in the past with not having enough light for TV.  Now would be the time to increase the light levels.

When we used to play Nebraske back in the DOD, I'd say the students were probably twice as loud as they were tonight.  Not trying to knock anyone.  It's just hard not to notice, you know?

Oh, you mean back when we were a top ten team and beat the fock out of everyone we played?   Pretty easy to be loud when the cats are winning.
