Their insanely dorky head coach is wearing an SEC polo instead of his own school, acting like he doesn’t know who Collin Klein is. Football oscar Weber is a real treat!

I actually do not want Oregon.

Explain, of all the ones there, that is like the white whale

Getting Oregon and Washington takes this conference from a conference of decent teams to a conference that is top to bottom better than the BIG. The BIG may be a bit better at the top with Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State, but this removes a LOT of that advantage.

Klein isn't going anywhere. His weirdo jesus freak maga thing doesn't work everywhere. You gotta have some charisma to make that work and not have people make fun of you, like oscar Pearl. Plus he and his wife just started their Jesus freak maga homeschool thing.

Jesus calm down

Sucks about Omar Daniels

Hopefully it is because Will Lee already passed him on the depth chart for a starting CB slot.

Conference saviors

Quote
Media rights sources let it be known that the likes of Kansas State being nationally relevant was key to the Big 12 getting a new, richer TV deal despite the conference losing Texas and Oklahoma.

Abmas, Cryer, and Ware or bust imo

The echo chamber of folks repeating other folks repeating other folks is really cranking on Washington and Oregon right now.  Several instances of people suggesting that they'll get a partial share from the big 10 once the PAC media deal is finalized and a new big 10 conference commissioner is in place.
This sport is becoming so dumb

Hopefully this doesn’t have any effect on Avery. Wasn’t Collin his lead recruiter?

Deandre Ayton

That Arizona team lost in the first round, my guy.

Okay? He averaged something like 20/12 that season

What an absolutely terrible article. K-State is pretty easily a top 20 all time program. Why does our fanbase always need to be some type of underdog program in football and/or basketball?

Do we end up top 25 if we get Spivey and Kirksey?

Especially with both starting safeties out for the season

Looks like a guy is streaming it on twitch:

I think Brents is pretty easily the best corner we have had in a decade or so. That's saying something with guys like DJamer Reed, Duke Shelley, etc. that are kicking asses in the NFL right now.

If TCU and the Cats both win out and then KSU beats TCU in the conference championship game, who goes to the Sugar Bowl? We would have won the Big 12, but TCU would have the better record. Are they obligated to take the Big 12 champion either way? If so, a 12-1 TCU team would be going to the the cheez it bowl?  :Yuck:

Based on the HugeCat smell test, this is who I would like to see starting
#1 Desi Sills 6’2” guard
#2 Keyontae Johnson, 6’6” wing
#3 Nae’Qwan Tomlin 6’8” wing
#4 David N’Guessan, 6’9? wing
#5 Jerrel Colbert 6’10” post

In my IMHO, Those are the five most talented guys we have. This is who I would like to see in the rotation for a total of 10 guys splitting playing time.

#1 Markquis Nowell 5’8” guard
#2-3 Camryn Carter 6’3” wing
#2-3 Tykei Greene 6’4” wing
#3-4 Dorian Finister 6’5” wing
#5 Abayomi Iyiola 6’10” post

It wouldn’t hurt my feelings if Ismael Massoud never saw the floor.

That is a really good starting 5 for a team built in 3 or so months.

Didn't it come out that we are not going to get any Pac teams because Fox didn't add a pro rata clause for additional P5 members joining the conference? I believe only ESPN added the clause so new members would get ~$20m a year. Not near enough to leave.

How on earth did Iyiola get all of these minutes over Colbert?

I don’t think this team is going to have any of the patented 7 minute scoring droughts that Weber’s teams had every game
