Wat too early to depress yourselves over the royals.  Don't worry.  The time will come. 

They last were in the playoffs when I was in the third grade.  Will be again when my kid is in the third grade.  That kid's still tucked away in my scrote at this point.

Lucky you, they havent made the playoffs in my lifetime.......I'm almost a quarter of a century old   

HA! I gotta see the WS... ok, so I was 2, but at least I have that... Chiefs haven't even been to the Super Bowl since my dad was was in grade school. Add in K-State's big goose egg in national championships and my HS's 2 state titles (both golf which I've never layed) and I feel pretty depresed about my sports teams.

This game told us we are definitely not the #1 team in the nation right now.

That's about all I got out of it too... that and we'll have trouble winning games if Jake is off his game and no other guard steps up and goes off for 15-20+ points when we play a legit title contender.

That Hrbec kid is full of surprises.

Hrbec's gonna be the guy that everybody tells crazy stories about 10-20 years down the road trying to impress their children/grandchildren.

Like... back in '06 I saw Hrbec single handedly win the National Championship by recording 15 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 FF, and an interception all with one arm broken and the other elbow dislocated and sticking out of his arm.

Nothing about it will be true, but nobody will want to be the guy that bursts the bubble.

I dunno, Haysville's about as  as KU, so ask the the Haysville people if he's any good... if they say yes he must be cause they wouldn't say that about just any black guy

Reading this thread while I see a commercial for "one of the greatest rivalries in college football" and decided to put the over/under for number of KU fans at that game to be 10... all freshmen wearing Muck Fizzou shirts and pissed because they thought they had won some sort of lottery and got really early basketball tickets.

I mean really, you'd think KU could at least get a couple thousand people to show up for their last chance to win a game.

Are you sure? I'm going to go along with the kutards and say no one scores a TD this year on the Bison defense. I guess maybe if UNI makes 5 more field goals than NDSU that's still a 2 TD win

Eh, take away the giant temporary looking video board and I think Pitt St.'s looks better. I still think Cessna Stadium in Wichita is your most comparable if they'd put down some artificial turf. FYI Beems, that would be the stadium of the school that hasn't had a football team since, well, Lew Perkins was their AD.

I had a co-worker offer me some 'roids earlier this summer. He gets em from an Emporia State football player. They probably are not the best quality(Mexico) but the price seemed reasonable. If the Russians aren't very emaw I think I can help.

Here's to Cuban buying the Royals. 

Somebody please convince Glass he needs to sell! Maybe Cuban will be so pissed about missing out on the Rangers that he'll buy the Royals. I personally despise the man, but as a Royals fan I'd love to have him throwing money all over the place for us.

The James Madison Dukes, who posted a 13-20 overall record and 4-14 mark in the Colonial in 2009-10, return four starters and 11 lettermen, including the league’s leader in both scoring and rebounding, Denzel Bowles (20.8 ppg. and 9.2 rpg.).

Denzel Bowles was a Wichita St. recruit who followed Turgeon to A&M when he went there. Obviously didn't do so hot down there.
