it feels a bit like '97 to me. a solid o'line with two nfl dudes in front of an all-conference nfl qb.  and a potentially nasty defense, particularly the front seven; all returning for the '98 season.  couple that with excellent coaching.  yes, king felix is gone.  but khalid duke was just as good before being injured.  matlack is coming off injury as well. and there's some nastiness at the nose guard position.  the missiouri game sets the stage.

I'm sure Frankie is crying for Huggs today.

What surprises me is how many people appear blind-sided by this behavior. Taking a step back and objectively observing Huggins throughout his career, how could anyone not perceive him as anything but a complete misanthrope? His petulant behavior on the sidelines, his demeaning treatment of players, and scorn for even Tony's and Jay's interviews. The man has been an arrogant prick from day one. For some reason WVU fans found his behavior endearing. He has been a brute to everyone for decades, and now that WVU is no longer on its collective knees for him, his true colors show.

It was never about WVU, WV, or the Mountaineers. It was always about Bob Huggins. From the beginning, the man walked around like WVU should be humbled that he graced the University with his employment. That players should feel lucky to play for him. That the state as a whole should be honored that he "returned" home to lead his "beloved" Mountaineers. It was all a farce.

so, the ole drunk isn't going quietly.  my, my.  his fanboys - kurtz, fitz, the rest - how will they rationalize this, asking for a friend?  hang a banner, quickly.  after all, he save k-state basketball for all time.  and brought us frankie.  f'ku.  mf'ing wildcats.  bought beasley.  angriest fans in college sports.  language from camp lejeune.  hang a banner before they lock him up or he dies of an overdose.

joe t. would not have broken the k-state starting lineup.  committing here never made sense.  thus, don't believe the cat signal was for him.

religious bigotry by lower thought processors is not new, just more common of late.

9
collin is a christian which makes children of the lower order very anxious not being able to understand beyond the breath of their feelings in the shower.

TCU has the ugliest court in the land challenged only by Oregon.  My gawd, who makes those choices and why?

For those here who but a twinkle in your daddy's eye or still shitting yellow in the 80's:

"Which prompts one question: Why bother? Why send fine young men onto the field every Saturday in autumn to be humiliated? The answer is simple: "I don't think the Big Eight would want us if we didn't play football," says AD Miller, and though KSU could appeal its banishment, it is generally agreed that if Kansas State were to drop football, the Big Eight would just as quickly drop K-State. That would be a shame for both the school and the league: The K-State men's basketball team has won the conference championship 10 times, more than any other school, and ranks sixth nationally in the number of NCAA tournament appearances; the women's basketball program has had one losing season in 21 years, and its six league titles are tops in the Big Eight.

"In other words, the football team is sacrificed for those who cannot imagine Big Eight basketball without the Wildcats. Snyder, predicting the future, says. "We will be as good as we can be, and we will not be 0-11." Stay tuned."  SI "Futility U"

If confident, Campbell would be metriculating in the Big 10 now at Michigan State or the ACC at Free Shoes U.

After that game, Patrick seeks out  :billdance: and taps him on the shoulder.

:billdance: turns around and Patrick says something.

OOD needs to work on blue hair access.  State is losing a ton of season ticket holders due to age as they try to get up and down the steps.

Yeah that may be but nobody really knows who said that actually.

False!

SH: Big 12 stadium with the most intense atmosphere?

AB: Right when you said it I thought Manhattan, Kansas. You want to stand next to someone and not be able to hear them, walk your ass into Manhattan, Kansas.
