administrative leave is just for optics. they'll do some kangaroo court investigation and he'll stay on at OSU.

No way he gets the ax. Maybe suspended for a few games? They open with Oregon State, Rutgers then the neutral site game vs. TCU. Can't imagine him not being on the sidelines for that last one.

Yamon Figurs is my favorite name for a Prince-era player.

Prince era players had some good names
Alesana, Alesana
Cuba, Jayson
Faustin, Vlad
Freeze, Colten
Hall, Olu
Johnson, Otis
Pomele, Ulla
Sekona, Hansen
Stryker, Adrian
Tigner, Dahrnaz
Abana, Chidubamu
Manu, Moses
Petrie, Terry
Pooschke, Michael

Ron was the weirdest recruiter.

9/1/18 vs. South Dakota - W
9/8/18 vs. Mississippi State - L (Only hope is that Miss State isn't quickly adapting to Moorhead's offense)
9/15/18 vs. UTSA - W (I fear we may be sweating this one like we did the La Tech game in 2015)
9/22/18 @ WVU - L (Snyds is 1-4 in his last five Big 12 road openers)
9/29/18 vs. Texas - W (Herman doesn't get hard unless he's playing Oklahoma, USC, etc)
10/6/18 @ Baylor - W (Nervous throughout)

10/13/18 vs. Oklahoma State - W (Rebuilding year for the mullet)
10/27/18 @ Oklahoma - L (In it, but not really)
11/3/18 @ TCU - L (Very :dunno: about TCU... just assuming we'll lose on the road)
11/10/18 vs. Kansas - W (Another frustrating double-digit win like last season)
11/17/18 vs. Texas Tech - W (Bye KK)
11/24/18 @ Iowa State - W (I feel like we're running out of ways to give them the ol' KITN)

8-4 overall | 6-3 in the Big 12 |

oscar always gets a signature win and this has all the trappings

Think we've got a better shot vs TCU on Saturday but who the hell knows. Our next four conference home games are vs (4) Oklahoma, (24) TCU, (10) Kansas and (8) Texas Tech. Very real possibility that oscar starts 1-5 in Big 12 play at Bramlage  :blindfold:

Cancer did not dissuade this man. He's not going to step down until he gets what he wants. Fully expect him to be back for next season.

Running the wildcat with Warmack on first and goal from the 2.

Just pound it up the middle 4 times with Barnes, IT"S 2 YARDS!

Or just run a FB dive to Dimel.

I've been shocked by the amount of touches Meathook has been given this season. He's got 14 carries and just 5 receptions. I'm assuming he's got some sort of nagging shoulder injury. Can't imagine him wearing that weird brace if he was healthy. There have been times this season where I felt like Dana was deterred by some of the nepotism remarks... and then the GD fullback screen happens

I have not watched the WVU game as of yet.  It is sitting their on my DVR, just waiting for me.  I don't know if I can bear to watch it without losing my ever-loving-S.

Should I watch it, or would it be best not to do so and pretend it never happended?

Almost half of our possessions started in WVU territory. Six points  :blindfold:

Did Stan not take into account Delton getting knocked out of both games the past two weeks?

Acted like nothing happened. Didn't say the word injury or concussion  :blindfold:

St John has a raging boner for hoops now that Mizzou isn't going to be total crap. So he led off with basketball

- Encouraged by the fact that the team seems to be pulling in one direction. Not surprised to see Kansas State picked 8th in the Big 12. Normally puts you on the fringe of making the NCAA tournament. Team hasn't fared well in close games over the last couple seasons. Hopefully experience (Wade, Brown, Stokes) will help in that department. Stan still bullish on Cats making the NCAA tournament

- Kam Stokes needs to be a more consistent player. He's battled injuries throughout his career. Hopefully he can stay healthy and start stringing together more "complete" games. Xavier Sneed will take a leap forward. He got really tentative after Big 12 play started last season. Started focusing on not making mistakes rather than just playing. Team will surpass expectations if Claws plays to his full potential

- FOOTBALL! Stan picked KSU 38-37 last week.  Was hoping that the team would see that its hard work/preparation will ultimately translate into victories. They got just that. After back to back road wins, he expects to see a team playing closer to its ceiling.

- Skylar not necessarily the guy moving forward. Delton has played well in his last three starts. Weird to see a starting QB only play one half in each of the last two games. Maintained that we have three options at QB (I'd say maybe 1.5). Could be either Thompson or Delton starting tomorrow... But Thompson is the future

- West Virginia offense is very explosive. David Sills, who committed to USC as a QB when he was 13, is a touchdown machine at WR. Will Grier one of the most physically gifted quarterbacks in the conference. WVU challenges your defense in a variety of ways

I think the goal needs to be for us to have a better showing than Bama. Shouldn't be too difficult. Just a pud state with a pud program

Third LB spot probably wouldn't matter much if Hughes and/or Sullivan take over as starters...

i don't get the TCU love this year

Everything I have seen mentions that every time they have had a bad season under Patterson they turn around and have a double digit win season the next year.

Meh. Gary is 25-20 in Big 12 games. Went 7-6 in TCU's first year as a member of the Big 12. Followed it up with 4-8. So another disappointing season wouldn't be a shocker. Kenny Hill is not Trevone Boykin. Their defensive S&P has been declining for the last couple seasons. I think 6-6, give or take a game, is a lot more probable than that 12-1 they pulled out a couple years ago.

Tidbit: Expect a more aggressive approach with our DB's. They have been playing more man coverage instead of the dreaded "bend don't break Cover 3 and Cover 4". This will create more turnovers and more pressure
I sure will miss those 3rd and 5 when they line up 15yds off the receivers.

Mahomes is going to overthrow that slant this time... I can feel it

Yeah, swung and missed on a lot. Three easy corrections: Texas is Andy Bernard... West Virginia is Todd Packer... Baylor is Ryan Howard

Really tired of getting KITN in Stillwater.... Also tired of OU beating the crap out of us in our own backyard. Probably lean toward OU because that's the last school I want a rematch with on a neutral field. Hopefully Texas and/or Oklahoma State pop them too. I'd be fine with a rematch against either of those two in the Dr. Pepper.

Brian Goolsby (9), Rock Cartwright (7), Travis Wilson (2), Victor Mann  (4), Ayo Saba (14), Braden Wilson (2) and Gronk (6) have a combined 44 touchdowns. Meathook currently has 20 TDs. Meathook good for 12 TDs in each of the next two seasons to tie the last seven Snyder fullbacks? I say yes. Put me down for 13 this year (10 against non-con puds)

they will be seen on tv after every extra point/field goal is my guess

This would be my guess as well.

Weird... As long as I can remember south EZ FGs and PATs have always shot south looking to the north

Kurtz interview with Stan last Friday http://1350kman.com/the-game-4717/

Stan more concerned about the secondary than linebackers  :dunno:

23
Is Patton expected to start at lb? I haven't heard much about him since he signed.

LOL at the idea of our coaches giving the more athletic player with a higher ceiling the opportunity to start over *insert Kansas kid here* who knows the playbook

They should paint flames and dollar signs on the roof as part of the replacement, maybe a dragon too.

Base the dragon off of Siebrandt's tattoo.

Would it be a dragon shooting a hook shot in that case?
