I've got Avery Johnson o58.5 rush yards. Market has moved up to 68.5 yards, so I'm not sure I would take the over at that line.

I've got a good arbitrage opportunity for those with Propbuilder. For some reason it lets you parlay receiving yards with receptions. So if there are any players whose line is set at .5 receptions, just parlay the under with under on receiving yards and you can increase the odds on the receptions under. There were 2 this week in the NFL. One took the odds from +154 to +210.

Sagarin says KSU by 7, so this seems reasonable.

My favorite tree is the golden rain tree after seeing one at the Denver arboretum. I even bought some seeds for it off Amazon or something. Then I found out it is poisonous, so never ended up planting those seeds.

Since most people are no longer oscar haters does that mean we no longer believe Currie destroyed the basketball program? Seems like you can't have it both ways.

6
I first heard it from Manny the Hippie on Letterman in the 90s. It's been around a while.

Just so I am clear, the recommendation is to start this blog from the beginning and read it like a novel until I am all caught up with present day posts?

Dang. Almost 60 years for New Mexico St. I wonder if KU has their eyes on that prize now that they’ve shattered almost every other record.

No reason not to go for it. They have everything in place for that kind of run.

Our first bowl was in like 1983, so KU has a long way too go for the record

Can we all be honest here....UT fans don't give 2 shits about Schiano's involvement (or lack thereof) at Penn State.  If he had the same history but his name was Saban or Meyer, they wouldn't say one word about it and would be overjoyed with the hire. They're pissed because he's a retread just like Oscar.

Yep.  Too bad we didn't have any dirt on Weber.

Currie did some nice things for KSU...very successful from the fund raising/facilities standpoint, but jeezus does it feel good for him to be getting his crap handed to him for what he did to Frank and our bball program

Agreed. Highly competent at everything AD is supposed to do that is not related to dealing with head coaches of important programs.

I'm amazed how many people think they know what he is going to do one way or another. Nobody has any idea, you are all just guessing.

"Kansas down only 2 touchdowns and momentum clearly wearing blue! Those folks that left early should consider coming back in!" - KU radio guy (really)

What's the poor guy supposed to say? I feel bad for the radio guys of horrible teams. The ku guys, the royals announcers from 1990-2012, the Ksu basketball announcers before Huggins.

Having to watch a team get blown out game after game after game and stay fairly positive the whole time seems like a difficult job. The KU football announcer has my respect, and I fully expect him to make ridiculous comments like this from time to time.

-Consensus between coaches and players that this is our most talented two deep

Best since when?

I would imagine Snyder 2.0 era.

You'd be wrong.

Ever.

There is no Arthur Brown or Darren Sproles on the roster, but across the board two deep we are the most talented we've ever been.

This seems over optimistic.  I like your style, though.

I used to use a reel mower when I had a smaller lawn and I loved it. Mowing was a quiet and peaceful thing to do like going for a walk. Since I didn't make noise I could mow at 7 am in July when it was cool out instead of the evening when it was still 100 degrees.

Forgive the stupid question. When he says Henson does he mean Steve Henson?

After the 98 Nebraska game the fans ripped down the goal posts and carried them to aggieville where we put them on Rusty's roof.

KU football got 6 2018 commits yesterday. Three four stars all from louisiana, all with Bama and LSU offers. What the hell is happening on the Bayou?
If true, they must have adopted kU hoops recruiting tactics.

"Hull has a rare understanding of how to navigate the academic system in Louisiana that would give struggling student-athletes the best chance to qualify, which he is using to his advantage."

I'm not sure how they get past KU's rigorous academic admission standards.

Hmm wow that is wild....

#4 guy on list is 188 lbs and listed as a qb-dt. I am confused about this. Does DT stand for something besides defensive tackle?

A lot of great points in this thread.  I grew up playing in Manhattan city leagues, and now my kids play in the same leagues.  Two of the biggest differences I see are pop and cleats.  It used to be that parents took turns bringing pop cans for after games.  Now no parent would dream of bringing pop.  This is a good thing I suppose.

Cleats are the other thing that changed.  Back in the 80s we all just wore our regular sneakers, but now every kid has cleats.  Why in the world would all those parents think they need to spend a bunch of money on cleats?  After a season or two of wearing regular shoes I found a pair at goodwill for $5 and my kid was just about the happiest he has ever been in his life.

ICAT is 32 years old.

It originally stood for "I contributed a twenty".  Then they rose the price and it became "I contributed a thirty". Then they raised the price higher than $30 and it didn't stand for anything, it was just ICAT.
