Although there's no way you could have known it, you're right. My real father having been killed 2 months before I was born would mean she would have been far better off if she had swallowed. It's a damned good thing she was a very resourceful and strong woman and raised me right, graduating from KSU, otherwise I might have ended up in a situation more similar to yours.
