I may be late to the party here, but His Dark Materials seems pretty good so far. I'm about 2/3 through Season 1.

He left a rocking painting of Black Jesus in my attic after he left KC.

Pretty sure everyone has known Whitlock to be a pervert for decades. I remember reading on ksufans about his escapades in various KC gentlemen's clubs.

Someone on this board or KSUFans bought his old house in JOCO and described it in detail. IIRC pink carpet in the basement with a stripper pole, mirrors and a hot tub or something to that effect.

I think it was Shellshock.

Correct. I own his old house in JOCO. AMA

Last time I was over I noticed you had added 2 more stripper poles and pink carpet upstairs, have you added any more stripper poles since then?

I hope Tomlin is suited up tonight

Don't get your hopes up. Sounds like Tang is going to make the road back challenging to ensure that he's truly bought in. I'd set the O/U on return date of early January, prior to the B12 slate.
WSU game he will be back.

wut? You mean LSU, Clark?

In my opinion, every outdoor football playing surface (regardless of turf vs grass) should have an in-ground heating system.

If you guys think that A&M (or their donor base) want CK, you're crazy. No way they reach out to the levels of picking up coaches from KSU, KU, Tulane, etc. They'll go after a big/hot name and overspend like they always do.

IMO, the best part of this play was the shot under the basket of Desi. I can't seem to find it floating on the interwebs now, but it was great during the TV replay.

Tang has made Bramlage he best environment in college basketball.

Correction: Tang has revived the best environment in college basketball. It was rocking during the Huggs and early Martin era.

My ears still hurt from KU in '08.

It appears things are rapidly unraveling at Texas Tech. Top portal transfer Fardaws Almaq is going to transfer (go get him JT; average 19 pts and 13 rebs at Utah Valley as a freshman last year) without having played a minute because of a broken foot. Rumors are Mark Adams has lost the team and is on the outs with top donors, including the big daddy with the unlikely name of Dusty Womble, with the two reported not on speaking terms.
Add to this the widespread gossip that Adams had an affair with the wife of his dead twin brother, which apparently started before the brother died.

Can confirm some of the above is true.

Tomlins length and athleticism at the top of the 1-3-1 is a coaches wet dream.

I’m planning on going to the beat down next week in Austin. Never been to a game there. Will be fist pumping my face off for this thing!

I want a courtside live stream from you!

We'll be better next year, just need some receivers out of the portal.  We should be a fairly attractive destination for immediate playing time as a starter.

We nabbed a really good one in Keagan Johnson from Iowa but I think that’s it for influx of transfers at WR.  They have some young guys already on the roster they like and landed the best crop of HS WR’s we have brought in for at least 15 years.

Being optimistic here, with the loss of Knowles (725), Brooks (587), Warner (456) and Vaughn (378), we have to replace ~2,100 yards next season to replicate this season. All things considered for this quick math exercise, I'm going to assume that CK7 will find a way to move Deuce's receiving numbers to whatever RB is in the game....hopefully Giddens.

We return Sinnott, RJ Garcia and Seth Porter with '23 recruits Spivey and Davis headed our way. Additionally, we have Keagan Johnson transferring in. Lets not forget baby Lockett will now have the chance to shine as well coming off his RS.

Between the guys we somewhat know: Garcia, Porter, Johnson need to cover 1,750 yards....all of those guys can easily put up close to Warner's numbers from this year and I would hope that Johnson can be our new Knowles. Everyone else's numbers are gravy. This doesn't even account for Spivey, Davis, Lockett, etc.

From the QB perspective, 9AM didn't put up huge passing numbers either early in the season. ~175 yds/game. Howard averaged ~240 yds/game over his stretch, which I would argue was against much better defenses.

All in all, not worried about our receiving corps.

Just watched Three Billboards. Very good movie.

I second this. Very unusual movie, but very entertaining. Mildred is basically Omar from the Wire. Episodic. Seemed almost like watching a really awesome HBO mini-series. I wanted more.

I'll echo these thoughts as well. Very good movie but at the end, I just wanted more.

I, Tonya = Very good movie

I also really liked this one. Great acting and creative cinematography. I had no idea the Tonya Harding story was so bizarre and trashy. It felt maybe 15 minutes too long and I wish there was more about Nancy.

Agree on all accounts with your thoughts. I like the fact that it was kind of movie like and kind of documentary like...if that makes any sense?

Doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen, just that Edgemoor may not be doing it.  Should be interesting to see if they go with AECOM or open it back up for vote where Burns could get another shot.

In no way, shape or form do I want AECOM or B&M building this airport. Both have major skeletons in the closet on botched airport designs...

Maybe they learned from them?  :dunno:

I have no idea who is good and who is not.

Trust me on this one Pete!

Edgemoor (Clark Construction) is who we want building this thing.

Jesus looks weird

This doesn't hold a candle in the wind to the Jesus picture that I have.

You’re picture is way more accurate than the one posted.

My picture isn't politically correct and would damage all the snowflakes these days. It would please the BLM crowd though.
