You also need to look at demographics to be fair. From what I have seen it is like 80% deadly to those that are over the age of 75. But 1-2% mortality rate at age 15-35. Sure, people are dying, but let's not act like a bunch of those people aren't on borrowed time already [Then this poster used an emoji of a laughy face rolling around old people dying lololol
Just sticking with his (or her) logic, apart from the old people: so 1-2% of 15-35 year olds who get sick from a disease die.  That's apparently no big deal?

Kansas State Football / Re: Can we go 7-5 in 2019 ?

C-KLI doesn't know how to lose.  will we go 7-5 in 2019?  no, my friends.  i was talking to BRAD KORN last week after he was done taping KORN'S KORNER featuring BRAD KORN and he basically guaranteed that C-KLI would hand deliver, to my rough ridin' face, a 10 win season.  hey, what can i say?  do i believe it?  when was the last time that BRAD KORN starred you in the eyes and looked into your soul while saying, "C-KLI will win 10 wins next season"?  well, if you answered anything other than, "within the last week", then i'm sorry but you need need to seek out BRAD KORN and discuss C-KLI and cats football.  it was life changing, as most convo's i have had with BRAD KORN tend to be.

who fly? C-KLI!  COME ON CATS!

Oh well, it's been a fun 14 years, we did something the 70's UCLA couldn't do, nothing will ever take that record away
KU is so much better than UCLA was, they couldn't even win 14 titles in one decade.

We are so good we made Bill Self finally learn how to read conference standings.

Cats win, we go crazy.  Legitimate talk starts to transpire around beating Virginia on Sunday, we get pounded by 30.
Seems right, except I think we only lose by 20, 59-39

Interesting, if true.

 :gocho:
If we had the opportunity to play Virginia, I still believe in this result. As it is, we have literally the easiest S16 road ever
Easiest ever, no. Easiest ever for a 9 seed, yes.

There's no doubt that since the injury he's been a diff'rent Stokes.

Good for you, well done

Yeah yeah, pretty basic low hanging fruit there, I know. I'll see to it that the quality of my future posts are movin on up

If Big Game Bob wants to relive the magic with Chuck 3rd & Long one more time, I'm good with that.

Given the large number of defections, I imagine we can put another 10 or so guys in this class.

I forget now, who all is rumored to be leaving and what gaps will need to be filled?

Just from last year's class, Green never made it, Owens left, Walker left, Davis never made it, and Brown left. Plus, CJ Reese is leaving. I don't know which OL and WR cire is talking about.
Alec Ruth and Carlos Strickland

If true, that's too bad about Strickland...I had high hopes for him. As far as guys who didn't get much (or any) playing time this year are concerned, I just don't want to see Mike McCoy or Da'Quan Patton leave.

I thought I saw a note recently that Green is still planning on making it here, is that wrong?

Looks like we aren't losing Leveston to Texas after all...

"K-State felt like my home, so I made the decision that I was going to stay committed to K-State," Leveston said. "I contacted coach (Derek) Warehime and I told him that I was going to stay. He said he respects my decision.

I told him that I really appreciate the offer, because I had always loved UT since I was a little boy and it was a true blessing to get that, that was one of my goals I had set this year to get an offer from UT, but Kansas has grown up on me, so I decided I was going to stay with K-State."

for both of these games i was out of my traditional seats and sitting lower rows in the SEZ

I'm certain that the go ahead TD in Bill's first last game against mizzou, an underneath to Jordy(i think) was the same play that quincy morgan took in against nebraska in the snow.

How big do you think visitor sides are?
Apparently they give visitors half the stadium. Must be frustrating when the only reason your stadium isn't full is because those damn visitors don't use their tickets.

Morning game: Bailey's and coffee followed by stout.

Day or evening games: IPA. Still Bailey's in the morning though, why else do you buy the handle.

Well, first game tickets are available for me via will call. The ticket office said they sent them to my correct address a week and a half ago. Who knows where they're at.

Same for me...I did not move recently but my tickets also never showed up.  They claim they were mailed August 4-11 but don't have any tracking info so will call it is.

Welp, if Christoff Bryan repeats next year it won't be for us.

Time for a Foster-Weber reunion.

Didn't Budke get Williams' scholarship for the second semester, so that would be the same one?

Either way you can add Ervin to that list.

Old Billy Self just said the Jackson suspension was a combination of the hit & run and being a car kicker.
Heard that too...I thought it was already handled internally.  If that was enough earlier why isn't it enough now?

Also pretty much disproves the whole "whatever punishment he had to endure with Self was worse than a suspension would have been" talking point.

Hasn't one of the main KU fan talking points been that Calvert was involved in a hit-and-run last year so she is a bad person, can't be trusted, trouble follows her around, etc.?

If West Virginia finishes this off with a win, they become the #2 seed.  Does that put ISU or Baylor (presuming Baylor wins tomorrow) at the 3 seed against us (again, presuming we win tomorrow as well)?
Baylor will be the 3 seed if they beat Texas.

Is Currie's departure bad for gE? If the AD office stops reading the boards, is the influence of gE diminished?
