I'm just going to go on record now to say that I think we will come back and win this game.
Just need to win the turnover battle by more than 2 in the second half.  Like way, way more than 2.

No way the Cats keep it within 10. I see more of a Miss St type of outcome.
WVU shouldn't be able to physically manhandle KSU the way MSU did.

Maybe you could check out this thread instead of planning about protection.  :dunno:

By "clear traditional Appalachian adult beverage", he means huffing compressed air.  The colored variety is the spray paint.

If he loses the revenge game against Stanford, I think he has to go.

Snyder is as good as they come in terms of just playing smart football and letting a more talented team beat itself.  There comes a point where the talent gap simply becomes too big for that to work.  This game is a great example of that.  MSU brought their C game at best, and the penalties and borderline calls have all gone KSU's way (11 penalties to 0, 2 fumbles both recovered by the Cats, overturned fumble call, FG off the crossbar) and it's still a beating.

You aren't very smart.
True, but I'm not sure what your point is.  OBZ just can't compete with the level of talent he's been signing.

This guy who keeps rapping while sitting in on test drives makes me want to buy a Mitsubishi Eclipse.  He's great.

This is just sad.
MSU is just bigger, faster, and stronger across the board.  The athletes are a mismatch, and no amount of coaching them up is going to change that.

I don't think they understand how bragging works  :frown:

LMAO, 95% of the "bragging" you 10 fans on this board have even done is about being a few spots better than MS in bad statistical categories.

Congrats on being the 45th worst state instead of the 49th or 50th in the bad statistical categories. What does that get you? Oh it gets you Bill F'ing Synder. I bet Ron Prince would take the job again though. Probably best KSU could do.

I can honestly say I would rather live in MS than Kansas. I actually don't live in MS anymore thank God though. But Mississippi at least has world class music, food, people and culture. Kansas has.....I got nothing.

Fattest, poorest, and least educated state in the union?  Woof

I think you should lead a campaign to get to 49th in one of these categories by 2020.  Maybe you can send a bunch of cookies to West Virginia or something so that they get even fatter and pass Mississippi.

But you tell the story very well.

Mississippi has made three and only three positive contributions to our society
Oprah
Mississippi Mass Choir
Lacey Chaubert  :fatty:  How in the hell was she born in Mississippi? Did her parents live in Memphis but got lost going to the hospital and her mom had to give birth on the side of the road?

Never heard of Lacey C,  but she looks nice. We will claim her.

I’d add:
William Faulkner
Catfish
Jerry Rice (ran into him at a bar while I was at state, his hometown was close by)
Walter Payton
Ike Tuner
Worlds first lung transplant
Elvis Presley
BB King
Muddy Waters
Handful of Miss Americas
Etc etc
Congratulations for the catfish and Ike Turner, Mississippi.

Looking forward to seeing that shark mascot and hearing about the pregaming in The Grove.
I've never understood why the Mississippi State Tigers would have a shark mascot.  Also, who in the hell drinks hot toddys?  Can someone with a HMSIQ fill me in?  I want to understand.

In his time at KU, Beaty now has more losses to I-AA opponents than wins over I-A opponents.
That's not a nice thing to say about a man whose only shortcoming is the lack of time to rebuild the program.   :nono:

What's the difference between a Kansas Woman, & a Commode?

After I use it, the Commode won't follow me around for a week.

We've sold ALL of our allotment.  :billdance:

Now, we're referred to the KSU Ticket Office, they are putting the overflow into the adjacent section. That section nearly sold out. :emawkid:

I think the only overflow will be seat to seat if you know what I mean.  (what I mean is that Miss fans have huge, super fat butts and bodies)
You still use commodes in Mississippi?  I know you're all poor and gross, but I figured you had indoor plumbing by now.  Ts and Ps to my SEC brothers.

This is an actual tweet from the Kansas FB Recruiting twitter, @KU_Recruiting posted yesterday. It's still up.

Do they not have spellcheck? Did no one proofread this before it went out? Do they even know how to spell "Kansas"?

Maybe they thought they could get better athletes to try out for the University of Kanas than University of Kansas.
Does this guy have a stump for a left arm?

guess they'll have to settle for harbaugh :frown:

Jim may be on the market in the not that distant future.  But IMO he'll either retire, because M will owe him a ton of money, or he'll head back to the NFL.  Maybe head into the broadcast booth . . . which would be weird, but likely must watch.
Wouldnt surprise me at all to see him coaching in KC after Andy Reid hangs it up.

He's just saying that they should go cheap, and it's hard to argue with that.  The basketball arena is an old pile of junk, and they think it's great.  If their stadium was just slightly less than mediocre, they'd think it was the Vatican.

Its a house of cards!

Quote
A consideration easier to understand has to do with football. Kaufman said Kansas Athletics, at the time, wanted to maintain a maximum amount of borrowing authority to put towards a football stadium renovation. The lease, because it is categorized as an operating lease, is not required to be shown on Kansas Athletics’ balance sheet as debt. KU officials now say they are not planning to issue much debt as part of any future football stadium improvements.

That article is just nuts to read.  Cheyenne essentially changes the lease to screw KU big time, lock them into the facility for up to 50 years (the owner gets the choice to re-up, not KU after the original 30 year period - with a potentially raised lease fee) and KU is on the hook for refurbishing and all major maintenance on the facilities.

If this isn't what got him fired (or whatever they claim was done), it should have.

Talk about an amazing triple net lease! That's gotta be the deal of the century for the owner.
I need someone like Zulu as a tenant in my rental house.  He can't move out if I don't want him to, but I can raise the rent.  He has to rehab the house and do all the maintenance, but he won't own it.  It's a shame he wouldn't qualify what with being unemployed and all.

Oh, hai Ron Anderson.

Remember when the Big XII prob could have gotten Pitt and L'Ville to come with WVU?  Man we really screwed the pooch on that one!
City Schools : Big 12     as     The Track : KU football

Like...bad decisions were made based on outsiders making fun of it.  When will the Big 12 learn from the SEC/Trump example?  If you simply declare yourself the greatest, dismiss all evidence to the contrary, and stay on message, the stupid poors will carry you to victory.

I'll say it again just for [you], so we can all agree.  We need UCF & USF for our conference.  This would put us in the second largest recruiting state in the NCAA.  We would have teams in SEC, ACC, AAC, BIG 10 and of course Big XII Texas.  At that point in time we could publicize that we are truly the BIG XII.  This will not only improve recruiting, but help with our network contract in a few years.  Also would mostly guarantee our future, with a twelve team conference that may end up with the largest TV following in the country.

if anyone is worried about the Florida teams, I do believe they are both serious about their football programs.   Look at the investment they both have made in their programs.  They both have quality coaches, and have had very good coaches.  They are doing this with a network contract that is about a tenth of what the Big XII deliverers.
Remind me what I said again.
:gocho:
