I used to work the k-state basketball camps during the summers and one summer mitch came back to appear at one of the sessions.

well, every night after the campers were sent back to their dorms, the current and former players, and others working the camp, would play pick up games for a couple hours in the upper ahearn gyms.

mitch was one of the pick up team captains and as the two captains were picking teams, he looked over and pointed at me and said, in these exact words “i’ll take slim”.

anyway that’s how I got to share the court with a  6 time nba all star and game mvp. he could drain it from anywhere on the court.
Take it to the brag about some stud thing thread

Headed to Wichita for first ever travel basketball tourney. Go team.

Genesis, SE Boys Club or West Urban? Sorry for you if it is Genesis, a sea of artificial turf and concrete.
I don't think they play basketball on turf.

pigs are horrible animals. really nothing good to say about them other than they can be made into a few types of edible meats.
Yes, pigs are for eating, not for raising.

Isn't he still playing at KW?

9
Yes.  Was only there for BYU game (and watching Squawks lose) but had an awesome time that night.

What I saw was the KSU Kats beating Arizona Cats asses even after getting 4 points taken off the board by the dumbass refs so who gives a crap if they blew an over and back call in KSU Kats favor!

12
Oh yeah.  He's been stuttering for years.

It's a damn good thing throwing the football is not an important skill for quarterbacks.

Solution idea:

Two sections of eggs at every supermarket in America: 1. Eggs we are sure have No bird flu $12/doz. 2. Bird flu doesn’t exist/Lets go Brandon eggs $3.50/doz.
Swing by the Schreds house.  Schreds daughter selling eggs 1 doz for $3 or 2 dozen for $5. No guarantee on the bird flu.

Thank H&R Block and TurboTax, specifically. The IRS did create a program called Direct File that Republicans are dead set on ending. The only reason I can think to want to end it is if you are paid by those two companies - it is universally a good thing for taxpayers.

Also you're not going to jail for your taxes.
Capone did

On a similar note the farmers dog dogfood ads are a pet peeve of mine. They show these refrigerated packages of fresh whatever it is implying thats what a farmers dog eats because farmers obviously prepare their dogs some elaborate homemade meal every night.

The actual farmers dog is eating kibble and maybe some table scraps and has a 50/50 shot of an early death after getting into the rat poison or getting run over by a car/tractor.
Yeah.  Farm dogs eat a diet of Old Roy and whatever carrion they find laying around.

Do you guyz have another car for daily driving or never go on any road trips? That seems like crazy low mileage for everyday use over 20+ years. I average about 10k miles a year but I guess alot of that is a 700 mile round trip to the cat ranch multiple times a year.
I have a company truck for work so my truck just sits alot.  A lot of my miles are annual/ semi annual trips to Wyoming.

Biggest blown lead in KU bb history

Enjoying a little vino and reading how much they hate Self now on the Phog.  Is this loser-ish? Sure but it's delightful.
Just ventured over there for a bit.  My god, they really do hate him now.

Just tell them the first person to attempt to escape is dead as fried chicken.   They'll all line up to be second but nobody wants to be first.

Another fun fact:
Dylan Edwards scored 3 TD's in this bowl victory.  His dad scored a touchdown in Kstate's very first bowl victory...which was in this very same bowl, just by another name.
Man, that's a great stat, and I was there when Leon helped run it up vs Wyoming in the 93 Copper Bowl.
