It appeared that we had absolutely no rough ridin' clue WVU presses on a regular basis. I mean, I don't think I've ever seen a team so unprepared to face a full court press let alone actually get the ball in play before 5 seconds had expired. What JV crap was that? The few times we did break the press we seemed content to hold onto the ball until all of WVU's players we back into defensive position. Heaven forbid we attack the rim when we have numbers.

Also, your starting PG cannot be the worst FT shooter on the team. He shouldn't even be on the court against a team who is going to send you to the line every other possession. I was praying they actually wouldn't foul him because sending Thomas to the line is the equivalent to just turning the ball over.

What an abortion of a game. oscar's dumbfuck look only compounds the problem. Somebody needs to give him a ice cream cone and tell him to sit the eff down and stop embarrassing our University.

It is the speed that kills me. It isn't in the coverage but rather the DEs that have me so upset. We get zero pressure. The corners are playing 8 yards off the ball. Not surprising their avg yards per play is 8.

Doesn't even look like he gives a eff. I'd like to smack the smug look right off his face. It is repulsive. Can't stand the way he is folding his hands together in front of him and shuffling his feet around making weird faces and acting like he wants to yell something but, instead, keeps his mouth shut like an unconfident loser.

I mean, at least he would hold our players accountable.

The only thing more hilarious than this game was the sweet clip of the Vol's workout facility. Looks about the size of a Holiday Inn gym.

What a shitty post.

The coaching was pretty damn good (on both sides of the ball) for this game. In fact, I was surprised how well they were calling plays that gave us opportunities.

Our problem was execution last night. Bill can't catch the damn ball and kick field goals too. We left 16 easy points out there with our missed field goals and Lockett drop in the end zone. Our turnover in the first on the 20 gave them the ball for an easy FG.

This game is on the players for wetting the bed when it mattered. It's amazing we only lost by 6 with all the fuckups we had. Nobody played a great game on either side of the ball other than McDaniel and maybe Sexton. We were in this game because of coaching.

Well it has transitioned the afternoon, but I'm on PST so I think of it as late morning/early afternoon.

I'm freezing. It is damn cold in my office. San Diego typically provides a nice moderate climate where we typically don't need AC or heat. It has been freezing for us lately (50s) and my fingers are numb as I type this message. Apparently the heat isn't working today. Not sure I'll survive the remaining work hours.

The past 6 years I have lived in Overland Park KS, Newport RI, Athens GA, Virginia Beach VA, and San Diego CA. Basically, every type of geographical location and city type minus the Pacific Northwest (though I lived in Seattle when I was a kid).

I have to say the best place was Athens, GA. It is home to UGA and very similar to Manhattan.  Great people.Great college town. San Diego is a very close second because of the amazing weather.

All my family is in KS so it would be nice to come home. I do think if I could have the same gig and make the same amount of money I would go back to KC. However,  if I have a wife and kids some day I would love to go down South. When I retire, SD isn't a bad place to be.

What do you elite people own?

I'm looking for a pair of rear speakers to round out my system. Current set up as follows:

Samsung 55" 7050 series. LED. 3D. 240 hz. 1080P. Smart Hub.
Denon A/V Receiver AVR-1912. 7.1 channel. 7x90 watts.
Front and Center KLH speakers. Old, nothing special but sound decent. Due to upgrade.
JBL ES150PBK 10" Subwoofer. 200 watts rms. 400 watts max. 27-150hz.

Primary use is for TV and Movies. Rarely used for music.
