When no fans are allowed after week 1, do we fire up the tarp printer for sponsors?

Should send a delegation (nobody important) down to Baylor to get the skinny on tarps

"The reported rat rate increased from fewer than 10 rats per 1,000 residents in 2002 to 60 per 1,000 in 2009, according to Baltimore CitiStat. A Baltimore City Health Department report that year noted that “the rodent infestation rate in Baltimore is six times the national average.” More recently, 19,869 residents called the city’s 311 number to complain about rats between Jan. 1, 2010, and April 4, 2013, with a slight bump from 7,579 in 2011 to 8,436 in 2012. (This compares to the District’s 311 calls regarding rodents, which rose from 2,820 in 2011 to 3,010 in 2012.) Personally, I’ve called Baltimore’s 311 number for rodent control once when my chubby, not-the-brightest-bulb dog started catching and killing the brazen creatures in my yard one summer; since then, dozens and dozens of rats have darted by, and I haven’t bothered calling."

"On the bright side when we are in Conference USA we will get a home and away in basketball with Wichita State every year."

I have doubts WSU would throw KU a bone in this scenario.

Sean may be the best in the nation at teaching returners how to wait for their blocks and find the right hole.  Our return game has been consistently great.

He is good at teaching them to wait for that 4 man wedge to get set up.

Wow. I'm legitimately sad for KU football. I don't know how that guy made that video with a straight face. It looks like a rundown community college.

It is where the JCCC grads go, well those that can't get into Pitt State.

Why can't KU get their crap together and field a competitive football team? It's not that hard. Even TCU Baylor Texas Tech Iowa State DOOK can do it.

The area that is ideal for us because of our work commutes is pretty much all new construction anyway. We are in the fringe burbs/corn field zone.

Is anyone out there using the old BCS formula(s) to compare what it would say at this point in the season vs. the committee?

How much would the Big XII have to throw in for a KU for Louisville trade?   I'm guessing 90 million. :dunno:

With all southerners being known super alcohics (look it up. Similar to a super volcano,  only with sloppy drunks) does Manhattan have enough low end booze and beer to comfort them after the loss?

Speaking of which. after our titanic victory I will probably want to celebrate with a rock or two and a prostitute. Which section is the student section again?

There's a hint in here for Nashtiger to find the stadium

Good thing Chaz has his meathook out left to counter balance that thing.  Looks like it'd just roll over otherwise.

Let's review for the non-butthurt, pro-KU crowd:

Allen Fieldhouse:  One of the top 15 sports venues in the world.  Underwent over $70 million in renovations in 2011.  Considered by many to be the mecca of college basketball.

Anderson Football Complex:  One of the most modern and efficient strength facilities in the Big 12.  Built six years before K-State announced plans for a new complex.

Rock Chalk Park:  One of the top five tracks in the United States.  State of the art facility that will allow KU to host regional track events as well as national and conference championships.  100% private funding.

Ward Family Scholarship Suites:  Renovated in early 2000, and was the largest pressbox/suite in the state of Kansas up until K-State's WSC expansion in 2013.

Looks like the suites at Butler CC - just not as nice.

can vouch for that  :kstategrad:

jfc, it isn't that bad

They're storming an empty court, where their team isn't even playing.  Comparable to practicing celebrating football victories, imo.

I don't think this incident is particularly interesting. It was unfortunate and sad, but good grief that's all it was. Give him a game or two suspension and move on.

heard rumors that they are going to move football games to this place so that people have room to tailgate and also have a chance to reach max capacity.  further rumors that old memorial is going to be torn down and they are going to put a shrine/museum about allen field house there with a 1000 seat amphitheater for ac/dc cover bands 24/7.

Naming it after Lew Perkins?

Perkins Roadside Park?
