Raw talent. Pretty late bloomer/still developing. But we desperately need a rim protector (LSU kid maybe?) and rebounding, so I’m all for it. He has a decent shot/mid range game as well.

He made a couple bad throws/bad decision on the interception….but MAN. If you go back and look at the tape, our WR’s get absolutely no separation. No one is ever open. There was a time on one of Lewis’ scrambles where literally every receiver stopped instead of adjusting their route or coming back to the football. That deep throw Lewis made to Knowles down the sideline was a great ball (could’ve been defensive PI, but whatever). I thought Lewis did a solid job under the circumstances. Is he the answer? No. But he can absolutely be serviceable.

I don’t know a thing about the guy besides looking up his HS Senior stats (throwing for 2,900 and running for 700 with 36 total TD’s). Will he ever see the field? Or is he destined to be the next Sammy Lamur? Does he look good in warmups?

I bet he wouldn’t turn the ball over at least….

But the Sports Animal in Oklahoma just said that the it had "sources" this morning confirming what Wannstedt said - and that an announcement is imminent that Oklahoma State and Kansas State will be joining the Pac-12.

Speaking from experience, be prepared to be blue balled into oblivion waiting for the imminent announcement ...

Ha I'm just reporting what I heard, regardless of how accurate it is...

I will take this with several grains of salt but Dave Wannstedt said he heard this at the Fox meetings.  Starts at about the 3:40 mark.

I really think oscar could be a really solid guy for a MVC conference team, maybe American, A-10, whatever....But Big 12 just doesn't work. I think players like him, but he's such an odd dude, to me, it'd be difficult to play for a guy like him. But you get what you get with him. K-State will never be anything but a bubble team with oscar and there really is no other way to slice it. I do think the guy can coach. But not consistently at this level. Once people (oscar supporters) realize this, basketball can possibly become watchable again. Bubble expectations. Upset a team here and there. Mediocre. That's about it.
