he throws too hard. stings the hands. maybe don't whizz it in there so much. do a floater.

I feel like he tried to do that on the one ball that was like 2 yards short to an open dude when he rolled out
Late game pass to a wide open Swanson?  It was a bad pass, but I thought Swanson should have come back to the ball to help Avery out.

The commentators kept saying Riley doesn’t go to the portal for a QB.  I heard nothing about Will, or anyone else, coming in for USC.

He made a spinning one hand catch in the flat that was jaw dropping for a guy his size. I believe it was against NU at home.

Old, Old Timer question (I'm just an Old Timer) - what was south of the stadium (further south in the picture) before Bramlage was built? Was that just another massive parking lot?
Crushed rock parking lot, if I remember correctly.

Also, aren’t “Taliban arms” mostly just old Russian arms?

They were until they upgraded to US weapons last year?

I didn't forget about him, just as I didn't forget about Lewis. I don't know anything about him, haven't heard anything about how he's doing. I know he's never won a scout team award.

I just assume he's one of those QBs who are on the roster but are only there to be a scout team QB and never see the field, guys like Justin Evans, Ryan Manes, Hunter Hall, Nick Ast and Parker Kavanagh.

I remembered this from an October 6th article in the Wichita Eagle:

“It is unusual for Kansas State football coach Chris Klieman to praise a member of the Wildcats’ scout team without being directly asked about the player during one of his weekly news conferences. So Adryan Lara must be doing something impressive behind the scenes.

Klieman gave Lara a special shout out before K-State defeated Texas Tech last week. The freshman quarterback is apparently “really challenging” the Wildcats’ defensive starters in practice by mimicking top Big 12 passers like Dillon Gabriel and Donovan Smith and throwing the ball “into really tight windows.”

“A guy that is really helping us right now is Adryan Lara on the scout team,” Kleiman said. “That kid spins it around really, really well.”

A reporter asked Klieman if Lara was still turning heads in practice this week. His answer was a resounding yes.

“He’s got unbelievable arm talent, throwing the ball from the hash to the opposite sideline,” Klieman said. “Granted, it’s scout team stuff and we are running cards, but he’s delivering the ball and he is putting it in tight windows. I am excited about him as a young player.”

K-State is set at quarterback for the foreseeable future with Nebraska transfer Adrian Martinez at the controls in his final year of college eligibility. Former starter Will Howard and four-star recruit Jake Rubley figure to compete for the QB1 spot next season, with Maize quarterback Avery Johnson also entering the picture as a freshman.”

Some of the people around our seats were talking about Malik getting into it with AM later in 2nd half. I didn't see it. Did that happen?
Yes.  He (among others) was obviously frustrated and finally separated from the area by a coach.  Nothing beyond what you’d expect from teammates during a game like yesterday’s.

I thought Greg Sharpe was an employee of like clearchannel and when it came time for kstate to renew their contract with clearchannel they were like uhhh nah we’re gonna go with learfield. Didn’t think it had anything to do with GS personally
That’s what I thought happened  too.  Did Steckline play a part?

Ambivalent Right, because I can no longer support the GOP as it exists today and my “never Trump” vote for Biden gives me the depression.

I’m working through S5, so I don’t know what is happening now, but is Kim a POS on her own or is Jimmy taking her down?  Her storyline is stressing me out.

I was seeing a young Gordon Ramsey

NOTE:  I have observed that some people do like to put on records and smoke marijuana and work on puzzles.  That's an actual thing apparently.
Confirmed.  Each of those activities should be accompanied by at least one of the others.

One thing to look out for next week and the bowl game is that I didn't see Max Marsh today, the QBs are right in front of my seats.

He was standing right in front of me dressed out at the fifty with the rest of the kids who will never take a meaningful snap.  I’ve never seen him engaged in any group discussions.

Dr. Fausto with the elite section 5 seats! In my peasant section 3 seats the QBs stand on the 25 and Marsh wasn't there. He also was the only QB on the roster who didn't warm-up at halftime.
I think we’re on the same page in that I’ve never seen him do anything (interact with the other QBs or coaches, etc.) but stand in front of the press box phone watching the game.  You would think he’d at least be leaning into their conversations during the game.  Also, I wish I would have thought to introduce myself since I think I knew your seats are close.  I’m in row four, so I should have just leaned forward and asked Marsh if he was going to ever play.

Did we establish that I'm the only Billions watcher here?
Just finished season two.  I screwed up by reading the rest of this thread and its spoilers, but am enjoying it.
