When people use “dollars” for $1 bills.

“Do you have any dollars?”
“Yeah, I have 5”...pulls out a $5
They get mad.

I bought a pair of Sanuks. No idea if these are in style, if I’ll look like a dork or an old man.

5. 2011/2012 Cats - I had a plane booked to Miami for the 'ship in 12

Me too. A group of people did. My brothers went to Europe for 10 days over winter break and they re arranged their flights to go to Miami. The weird thing for me was, after the Baylor loss, I was more sad about missing out on the trip with both my brothers/their friend and going with Phil/Mrs. Phil and having 3 days bouncing around bars with both sides of my family.

8 years later I’m still mad because we would have beat Notre Dame.

5. Cats 2012 FB - Would be higher except for the WTF loss to Baylor which crushed my emaw heart. Looking back on the positives tho remember when we just laid the lumber on Miami?!? We put our 3rd string QB in because Sams kept scoring on them.

I’ve said this before here, but this game resulted in the hardest I’ve ever laughed at a K-State game. Two minutes left, people are leaving and it’s pretty quiet. 4 rows in front of us is what appears to be a college aged kid sitting by himself. He just tilts his head back, yells as loud as he can “I wish LHC Bill Snyder would stop scheduling these cupcakes” and gets up and walks out.

6
The single most fun time I’ve had at a sporting event was the 2006 Texas game 3 minute stretch where it went from 21-21 to 42-21. The plays in that sequence were just hilariously fun to watch & enjoy. I don’t think I’ll see a string of plays work out perfectly like that again.

My whole family was sick for the 2019 OU game. I’d image seeing that lead build up in person would have been close.

7
I got it at a travel stop attached restaurant in Talihina, OK. When I go back in 3 weeks to get my 2nd shot I’m getting the same thing again.

8
I got it to go & forgot to ask for mayo. It didn’t need it though. Fries also has a slight kick to them. All around great lunch.

Kayleigh McEnany saw this pit-approved meme and repeated it as truth during a briefing last summer.

This thread took a very gE turn from laughing at OU fans who couldn't believe they lost to us into talking about old aggieville bars and which one was the best to poop at.

Eventually every thread ends in the Signs You’re Getting Old thread.

Had this for lunch yesterday.

I wish one of you could tell me that name of the bar on the corner just north of Mae’s c. 2005/2006. I’m surprised no one else on here knew about that oasis of a bathroom in it’s basement.
The place immediately north of Mae's on the corner in '05/'06 was Pita Pit and the bathrooms were on the main level. There was a basement but it was sans bathroom. Lil' waks worked there briefly at the time w/ @mocat  :surprised:

Guess I can’t remember where that bar was then. I swear it was on a SE corner and when I look at that building on google maps now it looks the same with the windows, size & door placement. It was pretty small. I found it because some friends were in a band called Emma’s Mine & they played there a few times. If they hadn’t played there I never would have gone in.

The pandemic has me going on like a four mile walk every day through my neighborhood to try to keep the ol' sanity intact. There's a dude on my route that has a primo '94 Prelude, just absolutely rough ridin' cherry. And this guy is probably in his early 50s with a mullet. He absolutely bought this thing new and has doted on it every single second since then. I've never felt more envy in my life. I want this goddam car. I wonder if a man like that would ever part with it though? Once I get my chip I may stop and ask him about it.

Does it have ground lights? If that thing has ground lights you’re just going to have to steal it.

I need to find a non apple tv way to get Ted Lasso, I enjoyed his character ever since it was an SNL skit.

Plan ahead when you can watch 5 hours in a week & knock it out during the free trial.

There’s another guy in a tan suit with a red shirt/yellow tie that also looks like a hotdog. That’s McConnell.

I’m curious what piss alley is. There was a small bar on the SE corner of 12th & Moro (I think) that stairs that just went down to two bathrooms and a storage closet. No one ever used those bathrooms. I would leave whatever bar I was at, go to that bar & be back in less than 5 minutes.

Jean jacket guy’s situation/attitude changed about as fast as I’ve ever seen.

Also, watch Spenser’s head in the mirror. I could see that punch breaking an orbital bone.

I highly enjoyed this video and have been laughing at it on/off for 24 hours. I hope our student section mocks Jones mercilessly this fall.

Need McConnell’s face on the guy wearing the hot dog colored suit.
