Perhaps he thought the guy in purple was yelling "Bruuuuuuuuuuce"?

"(Snyder) gave me a fist bump," laughed Goolsby. "He was all smiles, and since you don't see him like that often, it was awesome to see him so happy."
We have won two conf roadies. The tournament is nothing but roadies. It doesn't matter what seed we get or who we play. Simply going this year is a big W.
Who the eff is Ethan Calhoun?
An old railroad tycoon.
But no really.

Anyone ever look at the recruiting breakdown by coach? Not on gpc much, just saw this.

Momentum really swung after JT missed that fast break layup. Such a pretty steal, just too bad he couldn't finish.
Too that point, UT only had 13 pts in 18 2nd half poss (6-20 FG and only 30%eFG).
To compound the missed layup, we also fouled on the rebound and UT got 2 FTs on the other end. That started a run that saw them get 18 pts in their final 13 possession and hit 5-8 FGs
Jevon's miss was probably the second biggest play of the game. We had a chance to go up 5, but instead were only up 1 after the FTs. To add on to PP's numbers, UT hadn't scored in 4:32 before that play.
It always sucks to dissect a game that's decided by one play. I'm sure there were several other opportunities in the 1st half that could have changed the outcome too.
Thomas's miss was bad, but Johnson's foul following it was awful.
The coaches moved on from Aaron, before we decided to take the trip to UCLA , me, his mother sent 2 emails to the coach and they never replied or called, we were being ignored and that is what forced Aaron to choose out of Ucla, Washington, Houston and Texas Tech.....I honestly believe the minute he ASKED to visit LA, they moved on...
Supposedly big UCLA news breaking right now. Anyone with a subscription? It might be a QB mora wants more than sharp
Jon's been hearing it through the grapevine that there were a lot of QB's there, and Sharp was not "the" guy.
He also said he apparently didn't leave Westwood with an offer.
Also, there have been 14 predictions on KJ Carta Samuels in the past three days for him to UW. I guess he's at Boise now and will pull the trigger after that visit.
If Sharp doesn't have a UCLA offer and KJ goes to UW, well, yeah.
To be honest, this is a crap move on Sharp's part. Late January flips for kids committed this long speak poorly about a kid.
Man please stop being such a tuck, this kid doesn't owe any school anything. He is making a decision that could at best impact his life for the next three years, to us he's just another recruit. He or anyone else flipling doesn't mean crap other than he and whomever is helping him with his decision are doing what they feel is best for him. He's a senior in high school he should feel no burden to do a septuagenarian any favors with his biggest life decision to date.
Doing what's best for you and doing something that's shitty to another person (or in this case football program) aren't mutually exclusive.
In recruiting they often times are though. Plans change and they do for everyone in all walks of life. If these kids coaches left after they signed the letter of intent the kids are stuck. Losing kids at any point in the process is part of the game and Iddon't feel any animus to the kid or pitty for K-State. If you don't want to lose kids you can either get better or just get out of the recruiting game. We've benefited from late switches, plenty, all schools have. Its a part of the game, its like having kids and then complaining because you think its unfair that you have to change diapers. crap happens
I was pretty pissed last night, and I said some things I probably shouldn't have said.
I agree with the folks that say we should have recruited other quarterbacks.
I personally hope we work hard to sign Delton and Willis in 2015.

I would be hesitant to hire Shaw at a place like UT, all he's done is not run what Harbaugh built into the ground. Maybe he's a great coach, but I don't think there's enough data to give him this big of a job.
At least with Strong you know he's largely built his own program (along with being a successful coordinator).
Maybe Shaw turns out to be better down the road, but I don't see him as the sure fire home run that others do.
Pussy ass is a very disturbing term if you take the time to conceptualize it.
Castaneda has decommited.
On Wednesday, oscar Weber said the Wildcats are close to finalizing their 2013-14 schedule. And their first trip to Sprint Center won’t come until the Big 12 Tournament.
“Part of the problem with Kansas City is, if you are going to go there you want a good game,” Weber said by phone. “What happens the year after? You have to go on the road and play a quality opponent. Next year (2014-15) we have the Maui Invitational and the Big12/SEC challenge on the road. We already have some road games and a tough tournament.
“That was part of our dilemma. We looked for maybe the possibility of some teams playing us in Kansas City without a return, but we just couldn’t find a good enough opponent. I don’t think that is going to happen.”
Questionable pick: WR Chris Harper (No. 123 overall) -- When it comes to players with character issues on the Seahawks, Harper could be one too many. We gave him a late-sixth-round, fringe-seventh-round grade. The Seahawks liked his speed, size and potential but there are enough character issues to cause concerns. Michael was worth it. Harper may not be.
Although committed to Kansas State, offensive tackle Robert Castaneda (Round Rock, Texas/Round Rock) ultimately will have a big decision to make.
After taking in the Texas Tech spring game -- an experience he gave the highest marks -- Castaneda said the Red Raiders are high on his recruiting list. Castaneda was one of the estimated 16,000-plus in attendance in Lubbock, Texas, for Saturday’s game, and he, his father and his younger brother all enjoyed the atmosphere and being around coaches and past, present and future Red Raiders.
“It was a 10 ... an easy 10, no question,” Castaneda said of the trip. “It was my second time up there; it was pretty satisfying. The spring game was really phenomenal. I had so much fun hanging out and meeting players.
“I loved the coaches. Their energy, man ... they’re young, hyper and ready to work. They’re just super full of energy.”
Castaneda, a 6-foot-5, 310-pound tackle, is being recruited to Texas Tech by receivers coach Eric Morris, someone Castaneda called “the best recruiter I’ve talked to so far.” While he enjoyed his trip, Castaneda confirmed he’s still committed to Kansas State.
That commitment will be monitored for the time being.
“The trip did make me take a step back and look at things,” Castaneda said. “I talked to my dad, and we had a 1-on-1 conversation at dinner [Saturday] night. It made it a big, broader view on how I feel about Texas Tech. If it keeps going like this, maybe my mind will change.
“Now that spring ball is coming to an end, I’m just going to let things play out and do my thing in high school. I’m just going to let them come to me now.”
