With the UAB players able to transfer without consequence, are there any UAB players that could fit into the Kansas State way of play? I would say why not give QB Cody Clements a shot?
http://espn.go.com/college-football/player/stats/_/id/3129249/cody-clements If you actually look at his stats his overall rating is 145.6 with over 2200 yards passing. Though he didn't run for a over abundance of yards he can scramble, and run when it's needed. I am just not sure I am sold on Hubener. I also really wouldn't mind seeing Jordan Howard as he is only a sophomore and still ran for over 1500 yards and 13 td's. KSU also will need to replace wr's obviously, and there is a sophomore out of UAB named Josh Magee who on only 18 receptions had 340 yards and 3 touchdowns. Any thoughts on those 3? Why not give Hubener a year like Sams had under Klein, and then try and let Joe shine his senior season. Most of these kids probably have been picked up already but, wanted to get some opinions...
