It's your first day on the job at KSU. What do you teach, what kind of professor are you? Do you run any clubs? Dig deep or don't make your persona what you want it to be.

I think I would teach a class on Game Theory because it would be fun as hell, and we could just play games all day.

Kansas State Football / Provo pak, Think we take the grass lot to them
« on: February 01, 2024, 08:46:54 AM »
I may end up going to this game. Think it would be fun to take the grass lot behavior to them. Teach them that soaking is more than just a way of life.  :Wha:

We bring the booze and the greatest tailgate they have ever seen to them. How does alcohol in Utah work? Will we have to smuggle it in? Do we have to make a pilgrimage to the stadium? What if I have to sell my trip/tickets to the game, will i be able to sell them back to someone who lives' in Provo?

I have so many questions...

Essentially Flyertalk / Weird/Cool places you have been or want to go to.
« on: October 31, 2023, 09:53:04 AM »
Hello all, this came up around the watercooler this morning. Are there any odd places you have visited that ended up being worth your time that could be considered weird or cool?

I would like to visit the Dr. Pepper Museum in Waco sometime as I follow them on Instagram. I also think visiting the Braums Dairy in Oklahoma would be cool as heck. Most of mine are centered around food...

Essentially Flyertalk / Independence MO things
« on: May 12, 2023, 10:21:45 AM »
Hello everyone. I move in to my new place Monday which I am very excited about.  :emawkid:

Some pros about the new area
I am two minutes from my Costco and whataburger. My bank and a Target is across the street from where I will live. I also have a price chopper and hyvee very close.

Also a sweet little bike/walking trail that I can take along the Blue River for a Saturday stroll.

Some pros about the new crib.
Only Pay Water Electric and Internet which is AT&T Fiber which isn't Google Fiber but is gonna be way better than Spectrum which is what I have now :Yuck:
Will have a garage/driveway and an unfinished basement. Which I am excited about. Moving from a 1 bed 1 bath to this palace is gonna be great.

Some Cons: Don't really have any yet.

I know the area a little bit but will know it far better in the coming months.

So yeah put your stuff here about all thangs Independence, MO

Hello all!! Tonight is the start of the first ever Jeopardy Masters Tournament! I think it's a super strong line-up and I am looking forward to it.

First off, I love Jeopardy, it has always been a fun way to test knowledge or most of all learn new things.

I hope Mattea and James do well in the tournament and hope to talk with the EMAW Elites about this exciting tournament.

As always RIP ALEX TREBEK!

LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD!

Hello Pit goer's, I recently found this activist group call "Mom's for Liberty" also known as Klanned Karenhood on twitter and reddit here as of recent.

The group is currently trying to get onto school boards to limit the books their little kids are allowed to check out from the library.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Read everything, nothing is off limits.

Jerome Tang Coaches Kansas State Basketball / Bill Self is not OK

Have seen everything from a heart attack to an illness. Went to the PHOG and no one has any scoops.

Confirmed to not coach today against WVU.

Every game in a row that the Tang Gang wins is another mil that tang is owed in his extension. Tang's extension is currently worth 7 mil.

Kansas State Football / Legit Question about the Cats future titles...
« on: December 07, 2022, 02:48:51 PM »
Hey guys, I have always thought that the old K-State (Snyder 2.0) was built to win the big 12 say every 4 years. I also somewhat held that standard for Klieman. I think that standard changes significantly with the trend for recruiting and if the Sugar Bowl ends up going well.
I didn't know if you guys had an expected Dr. Pepper appearance rate like I did. I am currently trying to decide if my bar is currently set too low for Klieman and Co.
Disclaimer: I have no idea why four years was the number I came up with and was a standard for me but it is.

Rooting for Okie Lite. The horny toads will just have to deal with losing to two great land grant schools two weeks in a row. Sorry I don't make the rules.

Kansas State Football / Mizzou 9/10/2022 Game Thread
« on: September 07, 2022, 09:13:18 AM »
Mizzou's biggest rivalry game since?! I mean come on, Drinkwitz is shaking in his boots. Klein gave them little to no tape to watch this week. King Felix has the moves of this dorks nightmares.
The SEC BIG J journalists are concerned about tackling form when they should be worried about getting railed on the road.

Here is his weekly presser from yesterday....

Kansas State Football / Greg's Chant of the week thread
« on: September 06, 2022, 10:48:54 AM »
ITT I will try to change *The Chant*, not that it needs to be changed from the OG but it feels as if that the student section needs a bit of the push in the other direction. If I recall "can his ass" was quite successful when Bill needed to be pushed out so here I am putting my  :th_twocents: on the debate. The chant of course must follow the same syllable count as the OG. EFF K-U

This week we welcome (meh, not really) the dorks from across the river back into our lovely state's borders back to the best conference that they once abandoned to become an ok kinda bad football team.

This week's chant is simply:

EFF MIZ-ZOU[/b]

Got it?! Simple but effective. Figure it out students, get jiggy with it.

Kansas State Football / Big 12 3.0 crap talk
« on: September 10, 2021, 09:29:48 AM »
First off I would like to welcome each and every single one of you. Now we need to decide the names for new rivalry’s/dumb names I’m going to call you every year for the rest of your time in the Big 12. First off the easiest target is easily BYU, i mean the joke write themselves. UCF obviously making fun of their national championship parade. Cincinnati has a dumb mascot. Is it a bear? Is it a cat? IS IT BOTH? And houston has old friend Dana Holgorson so we can just recycle jokes from his time at WVU and i mean houston is the buttcrack of texas. Lubbock is most definitely nicer.

Kansas State Football / The great goEMAW history of the _|mm|_
« on: September 06, 2021, 09:52:26 PM »
Hey guys, I feel like this thread would be a great thread to really nail down the origin of the LynchMob known as K-State’s dominant defense through Snyder 1.0. So i have a few questions to start the thread off.

Does the name LynchMob derive from Ice Cube’s infamous tune “Steady Mobbin’”?

What player or fan or maybe even journalist coined the term LynchMob for the defense?

Again i am curious as this was before my time, not goEMAWing here. I want to get the story straight so I can tell my peers the truth. What better site to write this book than goEMAW.com …

He know's what it takes to win, has been recruiting his butt off and is a former player. Nothing better than a players coach, he can teach them the in's and out's of the game and show our fanbase he is a force to be reckoned with. After his pull in of the Wake Forest wing today, i'm sold Shane can convince anyone MHK is the place to call home. SO anyways my vote for next HC is for hiring from within. #ImWithShane

Cats looking pretty good, the beginning of this game certainly has me excited for next year.
