This is the official thread for those of us who just can't quit Daniel Sams as a starting QB. We look forward to you getting a little bit better every day, continuing to row the boat, not placing limitations on yourself, etc, until you assume your rightful place as the #1QB for the Kansas Purple State EMAWCats. Whether that happens next week, next month, next year, or in 2015, know that your old pal CanConfirm can confirm that you are a boss stud touchdown machine.

Buying or leasing a new car in the next few days. Not sure which makes sense, would love to hear from some absolute studs who have done something similar in the past. Also, I didn't want to include this in KatKid's thread, since this seems like a different discussion.
Background:
The car being purchased/leased is big enough for current CanConFamily and hauling art to various shows, but the family might expand in the next few years. Thus why leasing is part of the equation.
Questions for goEMAW elites:
1) Do you get absolutely fleeced on leasing a car, or is it a way better deal than buying new?
2) What are the benefits (free service, etc) on leases?
3) Car might be used for road trips to KSU Cat Purple University games. Does it make sense to lease (mileage restriction) if long trips will be taken?
4) What else?

, but hate the idea of giving extra cash to KStateCars.com or similar when I could be spending it on other elite things like having McArabias flown in for lunch.

My church group decided to take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land this year for the holiday season. I snuck off from the group tonight (Israel time) and wandered around the desert for a little while--and came upon this scene. It was a truly wonderful experience.

Hey, Gang. A saddened CanCo here.
The past week-plus has been pretty tough on your old pal CanConfirm. Ever since the Baylor game I had been pretty bummed, had been grumpy to those around me, and had even severely limited my BBSing. The pain was just too great. Now I know how Picasso felt during his Blue Period.
Like many of you, I love these KSU Scuba Duplex MMMbop Cats so much, and was sad to see our hopes for the Sears go down in flames. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with this group of Cats and love them as much or more than any Cat team I can remember. At the beginning of the year, if you had told me we'd go 11-1, be super adorable, and win a Dr. Pepper (FINGERS CROSSED), I would have taken it in a heartbeat.
That being said, because I didn't have to do a predicto last week due to the bye, I thought a little art therapy might help me get over the blues. I crafted this work for everyone on my favorite website goEMAW.com, and I hope it helps you as much as it helped me.
Now chin-up, Cat Fans! We've got a CTR to win!

I'm known amongst the local artist cooperative as a little bit of a soothsayer when it comes to the KSU State University Purple SnyderWilds Football UniversityCats. I decided to go public with my soothsaying this year by posting a weekly predicto before each game. Here's my prediction for the SMS game, I hope it's right!!!
Go team, get a little bit better every week.

Kansas State Football / CanCo's 2012 Season Preview for the KSU State Football Purple Duplex Cats

Hey, Gang. CanCo here.
It's August, which means it's time for a ton of pre-season predictos for our beloved Duplex 'Cats. And while most people (including deceased Greek mathematician Pythagoreas--what has he ever done?) have predicted a disappointing season for our beloved LHCSnyderCats, I'm excited.
I don't know if it's going to be as accurate as the Chingdex, I'm still waiting on the announcement of the All Team Burner Team, and it certainly won't be as jazzy as SkinnyBenny's new hit single, but here is your humble MS Paint enthusiast's prediction for the 2012 season:

Kansas State Football / CanCo goes to West Virginia

Hey, Wildcat fans.
Just woke up from my CAI --> FRA --> LGA --> CRW jetlag. Used my AA points for the whole flight (thanks, SD!). I would have liked to use some SPG points for my stay here in West Virginia, but the nicest hotel I could find was a Microtel.
Anyways, I figured I'd take a little time off from PAKing with Felix Rex to go on a mission trip with my church and check out some world famous saltpeter caves. Every year the church tries to go where we're needed most, so we were back in WV for the 39th consecutive year. This was my first time on the trip, so I figured I'd extend a good old fashioned goEMAW welcome to our new conference compadres.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, the conditions were much more dire than I could ever imagine. I snapped a few photos, welcomed a few of the locals to the conference, donated a couple of desperately needed jars of queso, and got the heck out.
Ts and Ps, WV bros. But hey, montani semper liberi, right?!
