So my better half and I gave blood yesterday and decided to try one of our old haunts in south OP since stuff was starting to reopen. The restaurant/bar that we went to was fairly busy at 5:00. The tables were spread apart as you would expect and all staff were wearing face-masks 
. They tried to take out bar stools to keep the bar flies from being close but that didn't work 
. People just stood where the stools use to be and the bar did nothing to discourage this 
. This place was always busy before the shut down and I expected it to packed with a line but that wasn't the case. It was semi-full but no waiting line at all 
. I was kinda freaked out that people were touching my drinks and food plates but got over that 
. I also had a small itch in my throat and was scared that I was going to cough. The more I thought about it the more I came closer to coughing 
. Slamming my beer helped and I never coughed 
. I was happy until I started thinking about someone touching my new full glass of brew 
. I will let you know if I get sick.

Well the demise of this board has once again come up in another forum and I thought it was time for all of us to do some self reflection. We can all ask ourselves why but instead I would like to see actual proof of what your contribution has been to keeping this site afloat. Please list 3 of your 'best' contributions below. Once everyone has answered I will do some calculations and send to the top mods to determine who can stay and who should be exiled forever. I of course will start with everyone already knowing that my contributions over the years have been very worthy.
1) Started the 'Beer Connoisseurs' thread (183 rough ridin' pages) 
2) Once tried to put together a 'd' list pack. Had cyclist
lined up as guest speaker but things fell through at the end and only one doosh showed up.
3) I have saved countless lives by pointing out that Snides throat cancer was due to HPV which led to tens of males going to get screened for this terrible disease. :bill dance:
Please no PM's thanking me for these because it's what I do day in and day out. Also, Wacky and Libliblib aren't allowed to post here. tia

I mean getting killed by 16 points as a one seed in the final 4 has to be close to a record right? I'm curious not because I'm ashamed they let the state of Kansas and Big 12 down by a joke of a showing but because I'm a huge trivia buff (love stump the chumps). I tried to look up but got bored quickly. All that came up was Nova breaking a record for 3's made and I didn't want to search any longer. Your help is appreciated. tia

I think he might be on the take. Oh sure he finished the game strong last night but that was only because it was so obvious someone has got to him. It's also obvious that he has gotten Kam to join this seedy venture. I'm going to do some research on the games he's totally tanked and see what the lines were in those games. I know I'm a simpleton and realize the committee is looking at quad 1 & 2 wins and SOS but I've looked at some of these teams that are projected 6-10 seeds and just don't get it.

Dear Lord,
Please watch over our boy's in purple tonight and give them the strength for victory.
Please bless Dean's beautiful fade having that translate into over 35 points thus carrying the other loser's on our team. Please cause Stockard III to tun his ankle walking off the bus so I don't have to agonize watching his fat ass commit 4 fouls in 6 minutes. And please Lord make Coach Weber a man for at least one night, so he can actually act and coach a game for these boys like a man. And Lord, please smite Mohamed Bamba not because he's an ISIS member but because of his wicked ability to kill us single handily and then eventually start a holy war against us Christians. Amen
I know this might not go over well because this board is full of Agnostic's, Atheist's, Apatheist's, and Liberal's but please try to be accepting for our team.

Why don't people know how to do 4-way stops? When you and another driver hit the 4-way stop at the same time and you're to the right of them and this doosh thinks they should go first? Or, or, or the chick on the phone who is supposed to go but she's too busy talking about her latte she had earlier that she screws up the flow of a nicely run 4-way stop..? Damn.

Just fixed myself a nice cup of joe ready to sit down and peruse the maw and was kinda excited to try some pumpkin spice creamer I just bought. 
Well, it sucks. 
It has ruined my coffee and put me in a bad mood. I think it's even made some of these threads seem even more ridiculous than usual. 
Should have gone with peppermint twist instead. It did get me thinking what is my favorite and I think I'd have to go with cinnamon vanilla creme? Which is yours? Do you use powders or just plain milk? If so gtfo this thread. Baileys over Coffee Mate? International Delight? Just curious what some of you think. tia.
