I’ve been out of the cc game for a bit, what is Chase’s timeline for when you can get the same card again ?

Does Chase still allow you to transfer UR points to your spouse?

Ha, Andre of course. Do  you think Collin drives a black Cadillac? Seems like more of a f 150 guy to me

Can you transfer Chase UR points to British airlines and then use them to book an American flight out of mhk? Elite resident of mhk wants to know.....

Bro in law wants to fly business class from MCI or MHK to Australia sometime in the next 2 years. Currently has 150k chase and 66k AA, what's his best bet for airlines and cards to go after? I tried helping him, but I'm out of my depth, putting up the sd signal on this one

So I asked my manager, and proposed it as I wasn't going to turn the tuition reimbursement form in and she said I should. That it was for school that I did while I was working at the company and that she didn't think anybody would really care :dunno:

Also I found out I get my bonus for 2015!!

When traveling with children older than 2, what form of ID do you need for them? Just a birth certificate? or do I need an actual photo ID?

For what?
Just a domestic flight mci to atl

2500 is a drop in the bucket for your company.  Turn it in.  You have an obligation to your family to get dat money!

I would do this, feel bad about it until lunch time, drink your lunch, then  :billdance: from there on.
Yeah, the $2500 obviously means more to me than to my company, but I just feel like tool doing it, maybe I can justify it by the fact that I'm not getting last year's annual bonus because I'm quitting before it gets paid out.

Here's the scenario: I've turned in my notice at my current job, but I can technically still get my last semesters grad classes reimbursed through the company tuition reimbursement program before I leave. Is it stupid and petty to turn the tuition reimbursement form in for the $2500 when I'm leaving in a few weeks?
Probably.
I can't believe that your company doesn't have a clause that requires you to pay the tuition back to them in the event that you leave within a couple of years.

Gonna win 'em all! (using Tapatalk)
Yeah, it's stupid on their part to not have something like that if you jump ship right after getting tuition reimbursement, but oh well. Guess I'll suck it up and not turn the form in

Just finished my MBA while my wife also finished a masters degree all while having 2 little kids. Also, due to said MBA graduation, I'm getting a fat raise at my current job which I used to leverage into a great salary at a new job that I will be starting soon in a preferred industry.  :gocho:

I flew with my 3 this spring.  Getting from car to ticket counter with bags, car seats, etc and keeping kids corralled is the hardest part.  Lots of people willing to give a hand to help out a dad with little kids.  Most airports have family bathrooms otherwise that would be a catastrophe.
curb checking the bags and car seats is a must in this situation.

At KCI I will have the car seats out of the other car ready tagged and ready to check.  If it is cold I add about 30 minutes extra on to my arrival so I can circle the around a time or two until I can park right in front of the sky cap so the kids can wait in the car and I don't have to drag luggage and seats along in the line.  Once checked in I usually do the Parking Spot so the kids do have to ride in the van w/o seats for the 2 mile trip back to the terminal.

With 1.5 and 4 I suggest upgrading to a well built roller bag so you can do the 1.5 on your shoulders and the 4 year old can sit on the roller, they also make some kid of chairs you can add like below if you don't trust the 4 year old to hold on

Yeah, the actual flight I'm not worried about, the 4 year old can watch a movie and I can handle the 1.5 year old fine. The logistics of getting the baggage, car seats, and kids into the airport and through security would be the hardest part. I like your suggestions though.

Has anyone who is a parent flown with 2 or more kids, without any other adult help? Kids would be 4 and 1.5

in general from my iirc computer:

chase: 2 years since you last got the bonus
citi: 18 months since you last had the card
amex: NEVER AGAIN! except business cards which iirc is every 2 years.
cap one/BoA/Barclays: as many times and as fast as you can until they tell you no. I think with cap one and barclays you have to have actually cancelled the previous card but they don't always enforce it. I think BoA will let you have multiples of the same card.
You should copy this post to the first post in the thread with all the current best deals that you are putting there. Are you still doing that?

my sources confirm what 'blast said
You didn't even need to confirm, what 'blast says is stone cold truth, always

yes, but there's always a potential for variability with injuries, so let's stay on our toes
Or variability in how much of a chance Snyder thinks we have against the pokes?

I just got the email saying I was approved.  It was a tough decision on whether to use your link or SD's, but I chose Sys because I thought he prolly needed the points more than SD.

you made the right choice, for the right reasons.

pete....we're through.

jk. also, I'm goiong to be putting links to the best offers on the first post of this thread. if you'd like me to add your referral links to it you can send them to me and I'll add them (including duplicate referrals to my own). That way it's easy for everyone to choose whose referral link to use for whatever bullshit pete reason they want. sys, I added yours above. Also, please let me know if we have links that aren't the best offer, etc. I'm doing this because A) it's easier for me to reap valuable referral bonus points and it's easier than me digging up links of my referral every time someone needs one B) to keep links to non-referral best offers there so people don't have to search this thread and travel blogs for them.
Stud move, both for you and the goE community

What's this whole Acorns deal? Anyone use it? Should I?

Is there a thread already for this...
Seems like a decent way to automate the investing of small amounts of money, but the fees are pretty high. I wouldn't use it as a primary source of investing, but if it helps you save a little more than you would otherwise, I would say go for it
