Who can argue with the WC game? As a life long fan in their mid 30's, that game erased so many dreadful years and will forever be cherished.  Sure, I will always remember all the other amazing plays, and winning the Series is the tits. But I've never in my life watched a game where I laughed, I cried, I screamed my ass off, I lost my voice, I got so damn deflated, then so damn excited that I puked from emotion, and gave myself a permanent scar (that I don't think I'll ever remember exactly how it happened). That game man. That game.   :ohno: :bang: :crossfingers:  :runaway:  :Woohoo:

I'll go with St. Paul, Minnesota or Sydney

Off days right now are very  :frown:

I agree with this completely; however I suspect I am the only Royals fan in my area of the country. So right now, even on off days, I put my hat on after work and walk around like :gocho:

How is this 3 pages in and not one single mention of John Goodman or Steve Buscemi. I can understand Buscemi but no Goodman.

Guys, I have a solid source (think concrete, after it's cured for thousands of years, solid) that says one of the teams is Alabama. Mark it down whether you like it or not.

PS. This is what the alphabet would look like if we removed Q and R.

What's the best part of a bulimic's birthday party?

When the cake pops out of the girl.

A small chest and no booty.

They pegged the exact state I moved to. I guess this means I was wrong and they are a reliable source. rough ridin' interwebs are always right.

 I would hate to be a Virginian right now.

Edit: That includes regular and west.

negative numbers are weird i don't get them

They're saying that if you subtracted 5 points at the end of the game from the cats then it would be tied.

Edit: Maybe it's the cats would still be up by one because you do win the bet if they win by 5.

kinda awesome how they're more or less traditional christmas fare in the southwest.  'tis the season!

It is awesome. I spent New Years Eve day making a about 200 with friends (including the masa). We toasted at midnight then chowed down on tamales. You should try with green chile in your meat mixture (hatch, sandia, big jim's, etc. not poblanos). Oh and a touch of cumin in the masa mix.

I don't post because they always come out stupid. I am very sarcastic in real life and can't seem to pull that off in bbsing land. I did win the where is 'Clams contest once though.
Are you me? It doesn't stop me from posting, so I guess you are not me.

For several of you other non-posters, I haven't brought anything to the table for over two years now, but people don't PI me that often. So, either I post and get ignored or people say, "that dobber, WTF is he talking about?" Point is, you can post, too!

No you are not me, but I think my posts would be similar to yours; hence, why I don't post.

I was in Stillwater last weekend.  You cannot buy cold beer in Oklahoma unless it is 3.2%.  You can buy regular beer at room temperature.  Also, I believe they stop selling at liquor stores at 8 or 9pm.  Plan accordingly.

You do understand the difference in alcohol by weight vs. by volume right? In many cases when you here 5.0 beer it is by volume, whereas mandated 3.2 beer is typically by weight. The 3.2 beer they sell cold is equivalent to 4.0 by volume. So while it is still less it is not as big of a difference as you think. Nothing to bitch about at least.

One of the desert choices was some kind of pudding/chicken nuggets

This would be amazing. Can you imagine the desert summer scene in 100 degree heat, everyone out rolling in pudding/chicken nuggets like a swimming pool.  :billdance:

One thing I haven't seen on any of these menus is chile rellenos. They are one of the first things I try at most Mexican restaurants. Always important to know whether they are made with real green chiles or poblano peppers. Poblano peppers tend to be meatier, which makes it easier to stuff without falling apart, but they really lack in flavor IMO. Green chiles on the other hand are thinner and more difficult to keep whole, raising the craftsmanship level, but the flavor is undeniably better.

Something to look for even if you don't order it is the enchiladas. Do they offer the option to add an egg on top? If not, not an authentic Mexican place. Also, do you get the option of smothered in red or green chile (real green chile sauce not tomatillos)?

gmafb.

 You obviously don't give the chile enough credit. T's and P's for your tastebuds.

One last opinion. Ground beef is tex-mex (though they will offer it most authentic places because of dumbass costumers). Always go with pulled/shredded or cubed. If the only option on a dish is ground beef just turn around and walk out.

How much bullshit is tonic water? A lot of bullshit in my opinion.  Diet tonic tastes LITERALLY the exact same.

Myers's Rum and tonic with a lime.  :lick:

I'm thinking you are just looking for a way to get revenge after reading the stick to the man thread. I mean come on.

1. You are buying a used house, you were going to repaint anyways. What's the problem?
2. If the floors were shitty enough for them to put in linoleum then you were probably going to be doing something with them as well. Now you have to take out linoleum instead of I'm assuming shitty carpet What's the problem?
3. If they replaced the tub that means you are either nasty as hell and were going to keep the old tub they thought was nasty enough no one would want it or you were going to replace it anyway. Now you have a new cheap ass one that you could at least sell for a little cash when you replace with a new one.

they had a monster pile of them at the hyvee by my house one time and I bought a bunch and then couldn't figure out what to do with them.  do you, like, grill them and put them on the burger?

Typically you will grill/roast them and peel the skins off. Then either dice them up or just throw them on top of the burger or chicken sandwich as is. I like to use them in shredded beef for burritos, tacos, etc. Great for making true chile rellenos or green chile enchiladas. Make a roast and toss them bad boys in with the veggies diced up. Their pretty versatile and great in a lot of dishes. I typically buy a 40 lb. bag every year at harvest time, have them roast them in their big tumbly roaster things, take them home all hot, peel them and then throw 'em all in the freezer. Ready for use any time of the year. Any time my family comes down to visit they usually steal a bunch to take back since it's hard to even find canned green chile in the KC area. Big Jims are good as well. Just different variety.
