A big welcome to Nickole.

ROY! WTF!?

Haha, some guy in my company sent out one of these, welcoming Lorraine to a new position.  After the usual, Lorraine has done this, went to school here, she is rough ridin' awesome, blah blah, the last line read.  "Please join me in welcoming Amanda to the team."  Obvious copy paste error.

So, instead of just letting it all go to be forgotten, he sent out a follow up apologizing for the copy paste error.

The End.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to thank you all for the amazing job you did planning and implementing Bob's 75th Surprise birthday party last weekend.  Kim and I had a great time, and it was good to see a lot of old friends.  I'm not sure I've seen Bob smile so much.  The food was incredible, and the games were a surprise, and a lot of fun.  Loved the Margarita machine and the cherry on top was the soft serve ice cream machine.  You guys thought of everything!  Are you going to post pictures that everyone took?

Love to you all,

Joe & Kim

Margarita machine AND soft serve ice cream machine? Wow.  That sounds amazing.

I've been tinkering with the theory that youse guys probably ought to reach out to Brad once you've sh¡tcanned Brooth.

A few months ago, I would have said that this is completely insane.  But then again, most of the stuff rough ridin', oops, I mean Rob says is insane.

Now, seems like a pretty solid theory.

because he lost orlando to Kentucky? jeez

Not just that.  Many think Brad might have peaked this season at Illinois, and that tourney loss was a shitshow.

The arrow is pointing sideways at best.

If Kofi comes back, who knows.  Lots of variables right now.

Holy crap.  2 full time remote jobs.

I can't imagine.  This is so rough ridin' brilliant.  I never would have thought to try this, which means I'm not a genius and chum1 obviously is.

Yes you can bet your entire ass that without a hint of irony the MAGAs would be saying “I do think he probably is the son of God. I just think there are some family issues there. Daddy can’t be too proud seeing his son hating on the godfearing rich for no reason.”

Really (and while not originally starting with them but definitely amplified) it goes to back to the mega-church, prosperity gospel TV preachers. Plenty of people IMO can be Christian and not at all maga, but it does not surprise me at all that any prosperity gospel adherents would have any issue with magaism at all.

And more back on topic with Catholics, there have definitely been some Catholic churches I've been to that on the time, talent, treasure spectrum lean heavy on the treasure part, and the history of the Church doesn't seem to avoid that much either.

I went to a catholic church service with an ex gf one time and was amazed at how much they mentioned giving money to the church etc. Granted they had just split a parish(?) and were meeting in a school gym while they built the new church but still it rubbed me the wrong way.

I went to a Methodist church that was basically pulling the same crap.

There was a new, fancy community church built on the edge of town.  Great big rough rider.  So, in needing to keep up with the Joneses, my church decided to take up a stewardship campaign to build a new big beautiful sanctuary.  Every damn week, the pastor would take at least 10-15 minutes talking about how people needed to sacrifice to build "beyond these walls!" And they would hand out fancy envelopes and even send people to call your house to try to drum up more money.

One dude even sold his Mustang to donate the proceeds to this.  It made me kinda sick to my stomach.

So, I quit going.  They apparently got enough money because they built that sanctuary.  But the new church on the edge of town is still nicer.

Looks like I'm gonna be paying for a wedding to occur next summer.  Sweet suffering Jesus.

Congrats dad!

Thanks!

She's actually marrying a decent guy.  They are both graduating from college, and he already has a sweet job lined up.  So, that's cool.

Your kid's?  Congrats!  However, try and talk them into eloping and using the money for a down payment or just save it.

Yes, sir.

I would love to send them to Vegas, but the wife and daughter have different ideas.  Like spending a shitload of money.

We're going to be competing for coaches aren't we...

Just go get DeVries and call it a day.

12
Greg Lansing is out at Indiana State.  Maybe go for that.

13
I've changed my mind on Darren Devries. That dude has a more athletic roster at Drake than we do at K-State.

Not to mention his kid is a top 100 recruit.  That certainly adds another dynamic.

Sounds like he most certainly is on the short list for Iowa State.

I will be shocked if they fire Prohm, dude has an $8 million buyout, that's insane. That and Mr. Potato Head Man has a tendency to hold on to coaches one year too late as opposed to firing them one year too early, well that's everyone but Wayne Morgan.

Speaking of Wayne Morgan, I rough ridin' hate college athletic directors. This is shameful

I dunno, man.  I've been hearing that he's pretty much gone.  Huge buyout or not.  He's making an insane amount of money for the results he's not managed to get.

Billy Madison - Shakespeare scene, where Billy dresses up as a character, lol

16
Would bang!

Yes.  Look at the crazy eyes.  No doubt an outstanding rough rider.

17
That's some nice gang scrawl under the paper boxes.

I've only seen Mr. Bread here.

I saw that he was registered at Illinois Loyalty at one time, maybe made 1 or 2 posts before Dan banned him.

I know nobody here cares, but Illinois Loyalty is ran by a drunk with an iron fist on moderating by the name of Dan.  He is the king of the Illini jerkoffs.

Anyway, I saw a lot of Bread's posts here, seemed like a solid guy.  Hope he's healthy, but who knows.  Maybe he just decided to quit the internet altogether.

20
@Jobu what happened to Mr. Bread

I have no idea.

Jobu has been lost in the wilderness, never having learned that the new home for profanity-laced, Illini-oriented sh¡tposting is IlliniHQ2.com.

Don't worry, I'll take him with me on my way out.

Anyway, I popped by to update you Emaws on the Brooth recovery process. People have debated, for years, how long it takes to dig a program out of a Wéber-shaped hole. Turns out it's 14 years (by one demonstrable metric). It might also be nine years after he's sh¡tcanned.

So don't fret. Brighter days are ahead.

I can't imagine how insufferable Illinois fans are when they actually accomplish something. Maybe they'll win the Big 10 tournament and act like Iowa State fans do and pretend that it's more than a three day championship.

I pretty much despise like 99% of Illinois fans.

You certainly don't act like the ones who post here periodically after Illinois has a big win, as if anyone here cares. Don't y'all have a rival with a message board?

Haha, I don't expect anyone here to care.  I just mentioned the win against Michigan mostly because I was shocked about it.

As far as rivals with message boards, I suppose so.  I don't get off on going to a rival board to talk crap.  I know a lot of people do, but I'm not one of them.

I discovered this place when oscar was making his historic transition to emaw greatness.  I have enjoyed reading over the years, and found it to be a place for interesting, if not hilarious conversation.

You will not get Illini shittalk from me on this board.  That is a promise.

22
whoa Jobu is an illini guy?  i was wondering who he was.

oskeemawmaw my bros.

I am, but I didn't come here to talk Illini.  Just here to shoot the crap and have some fun.

Harry Doyle shits up the Swanson's ski chalet

Yes.  Quite possibly the best diarrhea scene in motion pictures.  The sound effects...

"I hope you're not using the toilet, it doesn't flush."

The hearts in the background really make that one pop.
