Can't wait until grubburgerbar comes to KC.

Royals aren't gonna win 'em all

Any timeline for this?  Even Tyler, TX, home of Earl Campbell, has one.

Their practices just look awful

That "push bang bang throw" pass sailed well over its target. :frown:

I think that coach is on to something....playing with your eyes open.

I'm pretty sure that Johnson Drive and Metcalf has taken the crown of "Best mexican restaurants in one area"

Check this out (All within like .3 miles of each other)

1. Jose Peppers- Just ask Dlew

2. Chipotle - DUH

3. Don Chilitos - My mom used to eat there as a kid and its still in business, so you know its good.

4. Freebirds - Knock off chipotle but its good for a change up

5. Taco Bell - Best known mexican restaurant in the U S of A.

6. Salsa Grill - Owned and operated by EMAW alums.  http://salsagrillks.com/

Doesn't hurt that play-by-play announcer Neal Harwell, Clent Stewart's father-in-law, keeps bringing up the K-State connection.

do people like fanning still not know that it's just the speed channel being rebranded?

The carriers still have to negotiate for FS1 because Fox wants about 4x the money they are currently getting for Speed.

Still no deal for Directv, Dish, or Time Warner.

Deal to be announced for DirecTV, Dish and Time Warner Cable:

Rich Baldinger stated at the end of the 2013 ku spring game "expect to see more wins in the fall".  Thought it was because he took one too many shots to the head during his playing days.  Little did anyone know that he was reading a script.   :runaway:

Saw this in an e-mail this morning

One of my best friends attended a construction meeting this week and the completion time line was discussed and it was said that the project will be done in three weeks. That is complete in the sense of what was originally set in the contract. The training table will be done later as scheduled.

Didn't realize ku sent their cheerleaders to the race at Kansas Speedway.  They are on the pre-race show on the Speed channel.

I'm pretty sure that kck has a bonito michuacan.  Carnicerias should be on the list.

Bonito Michoacan, 1150 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, Kan., had 12 violations during an April 3 follow-up inspection, including workers unloading raw pig carcasses held at improper temperatures in a unrefrigerated pick-up truck.

“All the violations have been corrected,” Armando Romero, owner.

They have a busy website:

About 1,200 work in my office in Olathe... Would estimate 600 or so are in.  Nobody is leaving... So if I leave I will feel like a big pud.

Parts of I-35 in Kansas being shutdown. 435 is a mess around Pflumm - Johnny Rowlands said that stretch may be shut down soon.

Looking forward to a lot of shoe tying, pants adjusting, and sweating from Patts!

Go Frogs

Patterson's pants adjusting is an elite mix of Matt Foley and Steve Welmer pants adjusting, especially in a close game.

Really hope they don't interview that worthless eff at any point, I wanted to punch his rough ridin' stupid man of taste and distinction face after last game when he was talking about how he hoped our fans showed up to KC.  Noone wants to go watch your product you rough ridin' worthless dumbfuck piece of rough ridin' crap loser

I found that strange also.  It's not as if he didn't know around 14k tickets had already been sold.  If he didn't, he's really out of touch.

Thanks Norm! When you heading south?

I'll be heading south Jan. 2, arriving a couple hours before the pep rally.

Is Santa bringing you a new hat for a new 2013 avatar?

i'm still pissed if there isn't any landscaping on the outside, like initial renderings.
If it's like the BTF, the initial landscaping about 200 feet from the construction site will consist of broken pallets, leftover stone / bricks, and a couple of boom lifts.  It will be in place the entire football season and affect parking, pissing off donors who are promised the best fan experience in the Big 12.

We are also looking forward to a memorable and emotional day with the demolition of the current Dev Nelson Press Box scheduled for the early morning of Saturday, December 15 th .

For a preview of what to expect, click here to see a very similar demolition that took place at the University of Iowa a few years back.  Interestingly, the Iowa project was also managed by our construction management team.

Just remembered, the last time we had planned demolition on part of The Bill was the 98 season. Our last shot at the crystal football.

Probably a Luke, but I heard the demolition is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 15.  Will be carried live on kstatehd.tv.

Mentions the 21-pt. comeback, along with the streaker game.  "Strange things happen in Ames, Iowa".   :bill:

Listen to the full 3rd hour to hear Petros & Money wanting to see a pic of Snyder holding a young Paul Rhoads on his knee.
