Washington/Oregon have no incentive to join BIG 12 if they don’t get concessions such as reduced buyout or upfront money IMO

The incentive is a terrible Pac TV deal that is a lot worse than the B12.

Yup. The PAC deal is already projected to be $15-20 mill behind the B12 in 2 years as is. If the B12 gets the 4 corners, that gap is much larger.

If the 4 corners schools jump; Washington & Oregon won't have a choice as they'll be down to a 6 team conference.  I'm sure UW and UO are telling them everything's fine and they're committed, but I don't see how the 4 corners can trust them.

As for the 4 corners schools, I'd be OK skipping over Utah (since we already have BYU) and adding a California school instead to tap that market.

There is an untapped market (me) for premium tailgate spots that would include an electrical connection, maybe water supply?

Just buy that F-150 Lightning and you got your electrical all ready to go!

I'm going to hand these out for Christmas. They'll look great with Benji's flame throwers.

This would look great on my shelf...but, not sure I would drink it.  Has anybody actually drank Boot Hill whiskey that can provide a review?

Holy hell, this is amazing!  :horrorsurprise: :Carl:

Do you think the N is on the back of the helmet like Lil' Red's backwards hat?

The PAC has seemed like our best bet for a lifeline.  They're separated geographically from the rest of the conferences and don't have alot of options unless they want to to be playing coast-to-coast across 4 times zones.  Maybe the CA schools can be OK with going to KS once in awhile if it prevents them from having to play in the Eastern time zone several times a year.

13
Fantasy Football way more fun anyway

14
If the national super conference is the plan, shouldn't there be alot of concern from the Vanderbilt's and Kentucky's and South Carolina's and Missouri's too? Shouldn't they be talking about what conference they're gonna land in?  Or are they going to somehow be able to ride coat tails to the top?

15
Thought the BIG10 could look to pull from the ACC if it wanted the smarty schools too - hasn't there been talk of them courting North Carolina and Virginia or something?  While ISU fits their AAU desires, it doesn't bring any new markets for tv $$, which I thought was the whole point of this.  Maybe the ACC has teams locked up better?   :dunno:

Definitely fired.
$3 million saved us from the age discrimination lawsuit.
It was worth it.

Kli-State

I'm on board the Kli-tortoise.  It's like a slow moving train, implies we're going no-where fast, and kinda sounds like something else.

But really, I'm on board

Maybe we should just start calling Klieman "the Nick Saban of the FCS" to feel better about this

West Vir-gina hasn't beaten K-State in football since 1930.  Based on that stat alone, Cats roll!

If you extend the chart back another decade you see what an outlier 2007 was.
In the past 25 years, KU has had 2 seasons with 9 or more wins.  We've had 13.

This coaching staff better get their hullabaloo together in the off season. This is embarrassing.

Cincy checks every single box that we "probably" have in expansion right now, and this just makes things more likely that they'll be #11.

Academics, endowment, large market, close to WVU, decent/good football, decent good basketball, etc.

After that, you have to make a decision between Houston and Memphis, and that really comes down to academics.  All things being equal, we'd probably go with Memphis, but Houston has the research, endowment, political/academic pull.

Again, all theoretical.  There's nothing out there to say that we're expanding any time soon.
Academics?  They'll fit in with West Virginia, I guess.

Pretty sure Cincy is ranked right next to us academically, which isn't that great
