Two more to go.
i believe it's the other way around. despite holding the authority to get rid of currie at his leisure, the animal is completely subservient to him, or i would suspect soDear Sir,How mean was Daddy Animal in his response?
I was very disappointed to read the message you sent out regarding "the transfer epidemic" that has seemingly struck K-State's program.
I thought it was strange that you attempted to equate our six departures this season with the average of six over four years, or 1.5 per year, at other schools. The number of transfers nationwide IS concerning, but that is not the only issue with our program this season. In addition to the two scholarship players that graduated, we lost a transfer at the start of the season, two more at the end of the season and three dismissals. That is excessive by any standard. It may not be unique, but there are very few programs nationwide that have ever had losses like this in any one year. Trying to portray this as normal or typical was a strange decision on your part.
Look, I understand wanting to show support for the coach. There is no easy way to sugarcoat how quickly and thoroughly oscar Weber is dismantling our program. Rather than try to mislead and misdirect, it would have been better to say something generic or nothing at all.

Emails are certainly limitedly effective, and with a PR spin campaign like this one, they will always obviously deny how much dissatisfaction exists among their support base. Wefald did the same thing with Wooldridge at the end, as is The Animal now. They are feeling some heat, though.remains to be seen whether people are smart enough to understand showing up to bramledge supports currie/weber/this entire shitshow even if they have a contrary opinion
This team will undoubtedly be picked last in the preseason and that is completely unacceptable with the resources, fan support, and millions of dollars that have been spent on the practice facility, and are being committed to Weber's salary.
The real proof will be next season when the fan base talks with their pocketbook and the season ticket sales and donations plummet. The reality is the only way to send a message that affects change is through the bottom line.
The funny thing is, if in lieu of this cockamamie blame campaign targeting our student athletes to justify and defend Weber's abject leadership failure, our AD and or Pres had issued a simple email directed to the fans/donors thanking them for THEIR valuable loyalty and support through a very disappointing season, that it was unacceptable and not inline with the high standard of excellence that has been set for the Men's Basketball Program, I would personally have halfway considered renewing.

Wes has now gotten a clear preview of what will happen if he tries to transfer. The key now is whether Marcus, Tre and Malek can demonstrate to him that it still works out fine.
oscar and Currie are playing hardball on the release.i loathe everything this basketball program has become. oscar and currie are a match made in insecure dork heaven
What kind of poor can't afford cable?what kind of dumbass actually pays for it? I'm with renocat on this one. and also the rent is too damn high
to seriously get this ball rolling trim's going to have to call currie doing the oscar impersonation and quit. nothing's getting done until that happens.
oscar would be the type to say "you can't quit because you're motherfucking fired".
It's necessary to remember in times like these that K-State sports are the least important thing in all of our lives.been telling myself this for the entire basketball season
Gip and Nino seem to just be doing more blame shifting. Marcus was the main guy taking responsibility in his last interview.
“I just didn’t go hard every day like I should have,” Foster said. “I tried to go hard late in the season, but it was too late.”
“When you think that way, you have got to be hungry with it,” Foster said. “You can say, ‘I am going to average 15 points,’ but then you have to make sure it happens. I didn’t stay hungry enough to make things happen like I should have.”

"The other guys have to take a step in the weight room, in their workouts, their intensity, and we’ll be fine.”
