Here's the latest, guys:

There were exchanged texts tonight with a former teammate of one of the assistant coaches and he said that even they have been told nothing, however he (the asst coach) feels that its 50/50 that Snyder will retire soon.  He also said that the asst coach is of the belief that the successor will be from within "the family" and most likely Dana.

Again, we have not heard anything on Coach Snyder retiring, and we have been checking with people who would know. People who should know are calling us.

We are confident it will not be within the next 48 hours. Coach is in New York with Tyler Lockett, and John Currie is also out of town.

Coach Snyder has a pre-bowl game press conference scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 16, so if it's coming, that would be my guess.

You will absolutely be the first to know when we hear something.

Also, we have a lot on our plates right now, so please don't feel like we're ignoring you. We will most certainly be on the boards when we know something of substance.

Even though I hate you guys with the fury of seven hells, you folks are obviously the ones most responsible for making the auburn fans love K-State.

I'm Jay G. and I run AuburnSports.com.

A bunch of our subscribers made the trip to Manhattan last week and I've never seen them so satisfied with a road trip. Everyone on our board has been talking about how great all the KSU fans were, how generous they were. I've never seen such overwhelmingly positive feedback before because, well, our people can be critical on occasion.

Anyway, we have a thread going over on the board about it. You probably can't read it, so I'm going to paste it here.

Figured y'all might be interested ...

Was wondering how our fans were treated in Manhattan. I remember KSU fans having a lot of good things to say about AU and how they were treated on their visit here in 2007.

They were the best fan base I have seen in my 45 years of attending Auburn football. You couldn't walk across the parking lot without being offered food and drink from 20 different tailgates. We were welcomed at the bars and they bought us drinks. They said they admired how passionate we were for our team and couldn't believe how many AU fans came there for a Thursday night game. Never seen a nicer group of people and if we ever go back, I will certainly return!

Really like Kansas St, always have. But my respect for them sky rocketed after they visited in 2007. Awesome fanbase. Really upset I couldn't make the trip.

Add me to chorus of those impressed. When we arrived at the stadium, the students were lined up to enter the stadium, and they were all incredibly welcoming.  We entered early and just milled around for a while. We were standing on the concourse behind the student section, and more than a dozen students jumped out of line to get into their seats to come talk to us to say "Welcome to K-State" and thank us for coming to the game and scheduling them.

One guy came up to me and asked me how we got our hands on so many tickets. He wasn't rude. He was impressed.

Probably had more than a 100 speak to me and say welcome, and only one said "rtr."

Our seats were in the upper deck. Because of the configuration, you take stairs, but it's nothing overwhelming. If you think JHS is limited in amenities, K-State's stadium has even less. The upper deck concessions were hot dogs and nachos and soft drinks, and I think that was it.

Would be nice to post these comments on their rivals site. Some of them on the site were asking if anyone had heard Auburn fans comments on their visit and the game. I have no idea how to do it. Maybe Jay could post this thread on their site.

I enjoyed them until the 100th or so one welcomed me and wanted to talk to  me about how much they appreciated me making the trip. They were a little over the top with that. It's hard to fault someone for being too nice. We were talking that it would have been super annoying had we lost lol.

Great fans and atmosphere. Don't let the small stadium fool you, KSU fans are very passionate about their wildcats. Stadium was packed out and very loud. Just prior to kickoff, more than 100 Harley Davidson's circled the field and the crowd went nuts. Before and after the game, their fans were very friendly and respectful. When the game was over we went to a Wendy's just off campus for a burger. KSU fans were constantly coming by our table and congratulating us on the victory. Like AU, most of their fans are actually KSU grads, which seems to make a difference. Also like Auburn, KSU is the land grant university for the state. In my opinion the land grant schools seem seem to attract kids that were "raised right".

All in all, a very good experience in Manhattan, which left us with a very good impression of KSU and their fans. Simply put, nothing but class.

We sat right next to their student section, and I have nothing but respect for their ability to make noise without being obnoxious.  Our portion of the stadium was incredibly loud, and organized.  That "first down" thing was annoying, but it was well done.  Thoroughly enjoyed the fans.

So I'm flying out Wednesday for the game. Where can I find some decent beer in Manhattan? I hear Aggieville is the place to go. Any certain bar? War Eagle! Look forward to visiting the Little Apple.

There is like a 30 page thread telling you the do's and don'ts

I was thinking the same thing... How does one pick THIS thread for THAT inquiry?

I am thinking that some of this info is stolen property.

stolen property?  if bsac were to steal a list of his firm's customers and start a new firm, would that also be considered stolen property?

It wasn't "stolen". It was already legally on my hard drive. I just took the liberty of using it for personal gain.

NCAA rules prohibit this company and its principals, which would be me and Becky, from donating the athletics department and cover it's recruiting efforts.

As for Rusty, I have specifically not brought up our personal issues here for many years. Saturday night, he went too far and I simply responded to a request for information. I provided the facts as witnessed by numerous people.

I think I know one person who works at Kite's and as far as I know I never have interaction with members of his staff. Based on the stuff Rusty has flat out made up about me, you shouldn't believe what you hear.

The best was telling people that I had threatened his life and the lives of his family. Problem was I had not interacted with the man in months since he threw a fit over me not making Whiskey Dick's change its name, which I have no idea how I was supposed to do so. He told me I had no character because I didn't force a business owner to change his bar's name. I'm still baffled what he thought I could do about it.

OK, short version. Me and some buddies were headed to my office just before 2 a.m. and one of them points put that Rusty is standing in the gutter videotaping Tubby's at closing. I walk over to him to ask what he's doing and he starts shooting video of me. He then again blames me for a fake Twitter account of him which wasn't me, but he tells me "John Currie, LHC Bill Snyder and Sean Snyder" all said it was me. Uhm, OK.

We exchange unpleasant remarks and I head back to go into my office, so he follows me. As I'm shutting the door to lock it, he blocks it with his arm and tries to force his way in. He didn't get far because I removed him from my property.

He proceeds to run to the cops, which is rich considering he's in the paper every other day accusing them of harassment. Officers eventually come to my door because Rusty said I was having an "illegal after hours." I inform them that I don't have a liquor license so it doesn't matter and they say that's what they told him and leave. I think they were suppressing laughter.

Rusty takes to Twitter on the official Kite's account and shoots off some doozies about me being fat and that I was scared of him. Interesting since he's the one that got shoved out a door by his head. He erased them all but virtually all of Aggieville has screen shots of them.

Needless to say, Rusty and I don't get along (he doesn't with almost everyone in Aggieville) and last night was another example of completely bizarre behavior from him.

And this all made for a short but completely awesome after hours as the guys who witnessed the whole thing laughed their asses off.

Hi groman!  First off, let me start by congratulating you on your big day.  Stop by Tubby's in aggieville sometime (with or without your fiance) and I'll buy you a drink.

Also, you may want to sign up for the 7-day free trial at my website too so that you can post this information there.  Most of my posters aren't nearly as affluent as the crowd here so they are very likely to jump on such a fantastic offer.

In lieu of ordering something from your registry, I'd like to offer you a free year's subscription to gopowercat which will include the print version as well.  Once you sign up for the free trial, simply post a topic to the attention of GPCwallace and let him know that I've approved your free year.  You're all set!!

I have decided that I want that Errol Clarke guy.

Picked up some interesting scoop this morning on Clarke and maybe this answers the scholarship question with Robertson now out.

Sounds like Mike Cox and Charlie Dickey were already down in Garden City this morning to to discuss a possible scholarship with Errol.

I know reports on here have always claimed him to hold a K-State offer, but I don't think that was ever the case or he would've committed long ago with Dvonta.

It should be noted that Errol and Dvonta spent this past weekend hanging out with Terrell Clinkscales in Dodge City. You wonder what was discussed now that all of this is happening.

I'll be reaching out to Errol today, but this seems to have some steam behind it...

DJamer Wally wanted me to share this...

Quote
In the midst of all the chaos tonight upon Aaron Sharp announcing his decision to attend UCLA, I received an intriguing message.

Highly coveted 2015 quarterback Alex Delton reached out to me and wanted to know if the Sharp buzz was true. When I told him that it was, Delton proceeded to tell me how heavy K-State has been on him lately. Perhaps coaches saw this all coming or perhaps they just value him that much. Either way, it's paying off big to this point.

Delton says he's loving the attention from K-State right now and that he and the staff have already developed a "special relationship".

I wrapped up our brief conversation by finally asking the obvious: How much does Sharp's de-commitment matter to Delton's recruitment?

Alex's answer? "Definitely matters."

Wouldn't expect Delton to announce any sort of commitment any time soon, to K-State or any place else. But you have to like the direction his recruitment is heading from a Wildcat point of view.
