We are taking our tailgating habits on the road this weekend  . We will be hanging out with our Ag buddies down south for the weekend  . Anyone have any insight on places to go down there other than Eskimo Joes? And where we should be tailgating?

Its really hard to say at this point. I just don't see Bill being back and I have no idea the direction Taylor will go.

Heard from a booster that one of the stipulations that was in place for Taylor to get the job was for Sean to take over the helm when Bill retires. Who knows if 100% accurate or not but it has something to do with their Iowa ties..... FWIW

During halftime, the bad doesn't do it for me. I'm not gonna get my rocks off listening to the band and sitting there on my thumb. I can go out to the parking lot and be back in by the second half starts. Questioning fanhood because people make their choice to go out to the parking lot is stupid. If we are up 21-10 at halftime after having a raucous environment to start the game by drinking a few BL why not go back out and rekindle an old flame........

The only delusion is you and your program hopes of becoming dominant in the SEC. If it wasn't for a well travelling fan base you still wouldn't have sold out your own pud stadium. You won't win the East, you wont beat Alabama. Move along and focus on your next "sell out" because i'm sure Alabama will help you out that way as well.

Thanks for the clarification guys. Four Kansas kids at GCCC makes me sad. The Jayhawk Conference have won three of the last 10 national championships, I don't think another conference has more in that time frame. So I'm perplexed as to why the schools pressured this change.

This rule is bad for Kansas high school kids and the D1 and D2 schools in the state. It's gonna be great for the NAIA schools in the state though.

The Garden City coach, has complained at every school he has coached at to get the scholarship limitations removed. He started the whole thing once he got to Garden City because he knew he couldn't win or recruit guys to come out there. Shockingly the win the Natty the following year. Its a terrible thing for Kansas kids who often get overlooked. D2's should be licking their chops.

Jeff Schwinn was my middle school football coach 8th grade year, then again as a sophomore as the Head Coach of Varsity.

I always remember walking behind Lucas and Rose walking to campus from the parking lot by the old stadium. Always found it funny with their height difference.

Did Schwinn demonstrate the great option hand off that cost us the Marshall game in 2003?

Yeah, I remember giving him crap about it. He was not a fan. Worst coach ever too btw. I think his 3 year varsity head coaching record had a total of 3 or 4 wins.
