He's here until he retires.
You had your chance Gary, Fitz ruined it for you. Sorry.
Every coach in the history of ever that has taken another job has had the story leak. Only one of them was a small time loser who freaked out and changed his mind because of the leak. Every time we talk about this some of you need to be reminded that Fitz just reported what Vanier or Krause told him to report.
How hard would it be for us to raise 2 million dollars tonight? Like a gofundme that pays out to the athletic department if Brad is hired.
If our primary objective was winning, we would have fired oscar's ass, and John would be in Brooklyn right now laying roses at the door of Brad Underwood's hotel room door.
What if john already knows he can't get brad?
Was canary the last gE'r to spend money to go in the fOOD?
There is a decent big man playing at the Juco tournament from Gillette Wyoming. His name is the Kavel Bigvy Williams. I hope Oscar is giving him a good look. Looks like a quality big man.
Remember Robert Hill (SFA AD) gave BU his first division one head coaching gig and BU is very grateful for that and BU is going to want to go to another program that is just as committed to winning as SFA is.
you're crazy if you think he wouldn't come home to coach his beloved alma mater.
How pissed off would gE and tuck nation be if we truly found out that Currie offered Brad and Brad told him eff off " I'm not working for you bad person "
That's what's gonna happen, but you'll have to come all the way to the seattle ymca to ask me how I knew.

The best and most realistic path for Brad to coach KSU is for him to take one of these major conference jobs that he wouldn't form any bond with and get whatever experience at that level people think is important and then he can jump to KSU when there's new administration.
This may not be the right thread but... If we are so sure that Ford deserves to be fired (he does), then why doesn't Trent Johnson? If TCU wants to take basketball seriously now is the time for them to make a move IMO.
he's happy to wade into the aau stuff. he's not one of those head coaches that thinks he's too good for their crap and sends asst coaches off to do all the interacting. i think he'd do fine.
Brad is in good standing with MoKan and that would be huge. He has a strong relationship with Sunrise and Erik Pastrana is tight with KC Run GMC. Now where I don't think recruiting locally in a good strategy for Kansas State. Being able to steal some good players to round out a roster would be a huge plus.
I also think Brad is smart enough to understand that at Kansas State you need to build an elite staff of recruiters. I think he already has an up and comer in Pastrana.
I also think this year is Brads best coaching job. Losing Jacob Parker really hurt them. He really let him stretch a defense. Brad made big strides defensively this year.
Brad's pin wheel offense produces a lot of cheap baskets and you top that with how his defenses turn people over you get a high 2fg%, stops offensive droughts. The big key is landing bigs that are a little more skilled that can knock down some threes and a corner elbow shot.
This was emailed to me this morning.

There's hope in that history suggests Currie's tenure as AD should soon be over:
Ernie Barrett, 1969-75, six years
Johny Jermier, 1976-77, one year
DeLoss Dodd, 1978-81, three years
Dick Towers, 1981-85, four years
Larry Travis, 1985-88, three years
Steve Miller 1988-1991, three years
Milt Richards, 1991-93, two years
Max Ulrick, 1993-2001, eight years
Tim Weisner, 2001-08, seven years
Bob Krause, 2008-09, one year
John Currie, 2009-present, seven years
Steve Miller ? None of these guys hired Snyder or ran off Kruger.
mumped up when typing. Makes an even stronger case that Currie is about at the end of this tenure.
