Missouri has the Ozarks too. Popular show. It doesn't count.

Can we talk about parts of states you forget about?

Has anybody ever met anyone from the Canada part of Michigan? Seriously, why didn't we just give it to them?

The UP is more memorable than the Ozarks, and definitely better known nationally.

Nebraska is less forgettable than Kansas, just because of their anti-american unicameral system...which should be abolished and Nebraska should be annexed by Iowa to form a more memorable super wide state.

However, the best plan is to merge Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, and North Dakota in to the new state called Northern Texas.  Under NO circumstances should Oklahoma be included, but we will listen plans to include Colorado counties east of Denver.

Connecticut is the Johnson County of New York City.  I live in Johnson County and like it, so there I am against calling Connecticut forgettable.

Delaware is way too important to our legal system to forget.  However, we should abolish those laws and then in the spirit of the OP, just merge Delaware with Pennsylvania or New Jersey or something.

His recruiting state is Louisiana too.

A direct flight from Honolulu to Houston (closest major airport to Louisiana) is 8 hours and 50 minutes.  Oof.

Hawaii

I mean, can you blame him? I'd make that move.

He's known as a "recruiter," right?  He's going to be spending much of the offseason sitting on 5 hour flights to the West coast.  I think that job would be a pain in the ass.

lotta bay area stuff here! Big ridiculous corporate party! A tattoo artist who painted a unicorn on a van! IP theft! :excited:

Quote
In the colorfully phrased legal complaint, Daniher says Guinevere is a “pilfered and unlawful duplication” of her “tremendously cool” unicorn van, “down to the very same year, make and model," not to mention the "flowing locks of hair from the unicorn, the flashes of lightning, and a general outer space and mythological visual milieu." She also expressed her anger on her personal Instagram account.

Stupid hippies doesn't even know a pegasus from a unicorn.

There are some guys who don't care about anyone or anything but winning.  I bet this Hull guy was like that.

That our administration and fan base has made it excusable to completely crap the bed and embarrass ourselves in a manner not achieved since the Wooly era.

I hope next year is a train wreck as well so we can fire this sad excuse for a coach.

Any dumbass coach who decides midway through the season that he needs to be 'harder' and stop with the 'hugs and kisses' can find a new occupation. I don't care if he feels things were taken out of context. What limp noodled embarrassment. We have the most beta coach in America. We deserve better.

Told you guys.

Here's a thing out Knives Out that I didn't like, and a ton of crime solving mystery movies have this same problem. It's that they act like everyone has heard of the detective before.  "Oh the famous Detective."  LOL, whatever.  I have heard of exactly zero real detectives in my life, that I can recall. Never once in my life do I recall anyone else around me recall the name of a detective.

Knives Out was pretty good. great WHODUNNIT even though it's not a typical GOTCHA reveal.

I'd love to talk to someone who had never seen Daniel Craig act before and see if the southern accent threw them off. Everytime he'd talk it took me out of the movie. But still really enjoyed it.
It was v weird to me, too. I felt like he was making fun of Americans...

Not Americans. Confederates. And yes, he was very much making fun of them.  As well he should.

103.  Holy crap.  I'll tell you guys something.  Presently, I am only saving enough retirement money to make it to like 87, tops.  And probably my body won't make it to more than like 75 if the ol' family heart history has anything to say about it.  103?  No thanks.  I'd be dead broke eating government cheese and living in a shanty if I make to that age.

I watched "Laundromat" on Netflix, and it's amusing but not great.  If you are bored, it will be a good use of time.  If you haven't seen a movie in quite a while, then look elsewhere for plenty of other movies that are way better than this.

I hope Sean has a chance to pass this position on to his son someday.

BTW, Silvio De Souza's great grandfather, Hank, wrote "The Kansas Wildcat March" one evening after a hard day of work in the Angolan oil fields.

WHAT ARE THE ODDS?

I liked the Irishman.  The acting by Pesci and Dinero was particularly good.

I think there needs to be a separate ranking system for the raccoons/stars a movie gets if you are watching it stark sober. I find some of these rankings quiet dubious, otherwise.

Years ago I could and would watch the gut wrenching movies, but I no longer do.  I suppose only war movies are the exception for me.  I both loved the movie but hated watching Dunkirk and 1917, for example.

I have enough to deal with in life's little gauntlet of emotional distress without introducing new stuff on purpose! Also, I am a complete pussy in most all ways.

It's an absolute fact that the same people calling the steal cheap are the same people who said you play to the clock ends after Greene's dunk.

I love everything about this little dust up. So much fun. I am glowing. I hope all the stern, serious people don't overreact and punish any of these kids too severely.

Same, except for the punishment part.  I want both coaches fired. To send a message to the children that while amazingly entertaining, fighting at basketball games is frowned upon (kinda).
