There was a sequence in the game, where Shilo Sanders put a hit on someone, and they reviewed it for targeting.

It was not ruled targeting after the review, and Shilo started running around heel clicking like the scarecrow on Wizard of Oz or something. And tried to get the crowd pumped up.

The very next play, literally seconds later, he was in on another tackle and looked like he got knocked out and stumbled off the field.

It was an incredible sequence of events. I didn't pay attention if he came back in the game or not, but hope he's ok.

i didn't want to get too philosophical for a monday morning, but I can't help but wonder:

If the Raytown MO Jayhawks were to win another home game this season...

a) do they rush the field based on principle? Kind of crazy that earlier this very season big10 foe The University of Illiniois Fightin' Illini fans rushed the field after defeating the Jayhawks of Raytown MO...but now will the rushees become the rushers? Something to think about. Kind of hard to believe how far things have come in just a couple of months!

b) if the opportunity DOES present itself...is this something they can do outside of Kansas University Memorial Stadium (located in Lawrence, KS)? Like even though KUMS East (occassionally referred to as GEHA field at Arrowhead Stadium, Raytown MO) is about as home field as it gets...i still have a hard time believing they would allow the wheat to be wove anywhere but from the seats.
You raise good questions, but do you suppose they'll have enough fans there to actually take down goalposts? Iowa State fans will likely outnumber them 2 to 1.

KU wins, and Lance yells "hot seat!" following Matt up the tunnel.  That's my dream scenario.

He gone. Not being fired, but stepping down.

My neighbor built a pretty basic inground pool for really cheap decades ago, and they are able to add beautiful landscaping and hardscape projects each year. While I'm now adding an above ground pool with a REALLY tall deck on one side of it! Gonna add some nice lattice, and light sticks that look like Kansas wheat!

I'm spending way more than they already have, so hoping to save up enough to finish the other side of the deck in a couple years.
That's a 10/10 allegory, right there.

and make fun of the inground pool cause it's inground.

it's just a hole in the ground surrounded by concrete, LOFL.

that's an insane streak and it seems like he's riding this streak to the grave, no?  don't think he has kids/family in the area?  he's gonna be sister mary jean or whatever the loyola gal's name is, wheelchaired up and foam finger in hand on the sidelines in 2050.

2050 Robert is bouncing from tailgate to tailgate getting pics with fans.

This is why I enjoy scrambling. My son and I will play the gold or red tees and try and shoot our own personal team best on a given course. If I am having one of those dementia days it’s not as lonely and frustrating

I'm too undisciplined and gather bad swing habits from scramble golf.

Completely understand. I thought I was getting dementia because one day recently my entire back swing felt strange and wrong to me…couple days later I was fine. So god damn weird.

This is me day to day. I knew it would be hard, but I had no idea I would struggle this much. It's just so weird that one day everything is smooth and comfortable and the next I will literally be shooting rockets off to the right and my forearms will be sore. Most of the time I have no idea why as it all feels the same. I am getting a little better at self diagnosing, but that doesn't do crap on the actual course.

Same, guys. I can shoot a really good round one day, go out the next and it feels terrible (usually happens when playing back-to-back days).

Play later that week or next week and it's fine.

Zach Top is about as close to 80's/90's country as you can get these days. He's huge but due to a cancellation/reschedule, he'll be at The Hat next weekend. Playing during the Cats/CU game, so someone might be willing to get rid of their tickets.

They'll always have the Guaranteed Rate Bowl victory over powerhouse UNLV.

The best season in the history of Iowa State football was 9 wins.

Last year was something to be proud of, and the half a house it built (maybe).

that asbury era court design was >

What if we got a throwback uni teased there?

All the best college football stadiums in the country are pieced together from their original form. In college football terms, if they wanted to do something to stay out of the generic stadium category, they should've figured out a way to build some monstrosity of a north end zone complex around the original bones of Memorial stadium. And obviously do the west and east in phases.

No new stades come close to being good college stadiums and the lights feel more gimmicky than unique. Especially when they'll probably have to have the same conversation explaining what they represent 100,000 times (and also why the east side never has them).

18
They announced these games would be happening over 5,712 hours ago... but not having the finalized and signed docs within 48 hours of the first game is a "non-story".

The “Signature process” can be a weird thing.

Athlon sports is reporting that Florida is zeroing in on Matt Rhule and James Franklin as replacements for Napier.  Does Lance Lightpole have a shot of being in the mix?

He won't be in the mix for the original openings, but he'll be in the mix for all the backfills.

Got to assume the Nebraska job is his if Rhule leaves.

Some renders of USF's new football stadium coming in a few years, estimated to cost half the price of KU's disaster.

If they lose Saturday, they will spend the next 5 weeks preparing and game planning for K-State.

How has no one realized to just tweet a bunch of random stuff before saying you got hacked, not just one tweet that sounds like something you would say?

Barstool Big Cat does this. After the tweet he's embarrassed about or after a bad gambling loss, he posts this hacked PS5 selling tweet.

I completely agree as far as doing that blinking lights with the game underway, even if it's only in post score situations. It's very annoying IMO.

Having purple lights for certain moments during pre-game, halftime, and when the stadium is not in use would be kind of cool.

They could make them all green for all the money we have.. and I guess Shamrock trading co too

24
I think my favorite part are the KU hayseed homers that are saying she would never do it and that it was a photoshopped image...under the tweet she is saying she was hacked, LOFL

Good to see Deion focusing on what's important.

All my UC Boulder friends and acquaintances are pissed about this. It's pretty hilarious.
