Buncha derps, shoulda taken a page from Antifa and wore masks and hoods (smashed out a few windows, flip some cars, torch a building).

The white hooded MAGAs take care of that.

The state of Kansas should hire some IT people or something because their site goes down every Monday. What a mess.
Still down. No possible way to apply for unemployment this week. lol. What a joke.

"its coming out from the medical community that virtually ALL deaths are now being attributed to the coronavirus even if it wasn't even really a factor, thus driving up the coronavirus death"

Wait, where are you getting this from?

Is Eric freakishly tall or just that much closer to the camera? I think that picture is fake. Trump looks fatter. DJTjr looks like Violet Beauregarde expanding at the waist. Ivanka looks pregnant.

It's from 2013. She was pregnant at the time. My gawd, their suits and Eric's shoes.

I will say, the words of the whistle blower make for some fascinating second (possibly third and beyond) hand reading.

Have yet to read a single note of first hand knowledge.

He/She would make a great reporter.

What has he/she been wrong about so far? Pretty amazing if it's "second (possibly third and beyond)" and it matches the "transcript" of the call. Maybe he/she is wrong about the cover-up though...

Does anybody with the Sapphire Reserve card get priority boarding anywhere (specifically United)? I've purchased 4 United flights with the card and got priority boarding every time. Don't have any status. Didn't know if this was a hidden perk of the card, but haven't found anybody talking about it. Haven't received it on any other airline. The only other thing I can think of is I cancelled the Explorer card nearly 2 years ago and a glitch in their system makes them think I still have it. If so, hopefully they don't fix the glitch.

targeted 75k UA offer

http://frequentmiler.boardingarea.com/2016/06/01/chase-united-75k/#_ga=1.61916268.1925839842.1454333828

FYI, I was targeted with the 75k offer with no $50 statement credit. Saw on Flyertalk that people were getting the $50 credit offer by starting to book a flight on United and then the offer shows up in the upper right. I just did it and it worked. I got the 75k offer with $50 statement credit so make sure to login to United and start the booking process to see if you get this offer before applying.

SPG 35k Amex now available. Highest bonus ever. Unfortunately if you've ever had the personal or business in your life you can't get the bonus again. If someone wants a SPG Biz referral let me know. Just need a PM wit your first name and email addy  :fatty:
I've you've received the personal bonus (I did 4 years ago), can I get the biz bonus? Spend req?

I got the SPG Personal and Biz in July 2010. When I got rid of the Personal card I did a product change to the Blue Cash card instead of canceling it because I wanted to keep my Amex history. I was checking out my credit report today and noticed that there's not separate accounts for both cards. It just shows the card being active since 2010. I chatted with Amex to see what cards I've ever had and they said I've never been the primary account holder on the SPG Personal (only Biz). So yeah, definitely chat with them and maybe even check your credit report. I think I'll do another chat just to make sure, but looks like a product change might be a way around this if you happened to do that.

FYI, this worked. Got 35,000 points on the SPG Personal for a second time so first time SPG Personal card holders should do a product change when you go to cancel. Don't know if I just got lucky, but doing a product change will also retain your AMEX history if it's your first AMEX card.

same exact terms iirc. benefit of the biz is you get open savings so like you spend money at staples or hyatt or other places it automatically credits back like 2% of the purchase to your account. it also gets you lounge access at Sheratons and Boingo wifi at airports and other places for free. the personal doesn't.

Damn, thought you had the Personal. Was just going with it right now for the lower spend. I might still do your Business referral, but want to get the Personal along with something else. What are the best ways for meeting spends right now? Is there still crap with Bluebird? Been out of the game lately.

Has anybody doing the incognito AMEX Premier Rewards Gold Card deal had the card in the past? I thought you could only get that reward once in your lifetime and I got it like 5 years ago. Anybody had luck getting it more than once?

Do spg points poof if you cancel the amex? It's about that time for me

They do expire though if you don't have activity with SPG for 12 months. I just had mine expire because I last had activity with them in Sept 2013. Went to login to my account and I had to call customer care to "update" my account due to inactivity. I knew the points were expiring in Sept and had been meaning to make a reservation to keep that from happening and completely forgot. They're giving me my 35,000+ points back though. Don't be a dumbass like me.

Funny thing is I went to login to my account because I received a check from Amex for $200 saying that it was "reimbursement for the value of Starwood Starpoints that we were unable to apply to your account." I have no idea why I received this check. The "account ending in" that it says it is for wasn't my SPG card which I got rid of over a year ago and it isn't for any Amex card I have now. It's a JPMorgan Chase Bank check though so I'm blaming (thanking) hackers.  :users: :kstategrad: :Woohoo:

If anyone has a referral for the Ink Plus, I'll use that instead of the random points bloggers'.

And I need a PI-free reminder of how to fill out all the biz stuff on the application, seems they ask more questions there aside from a TIN than I remember the last time I did one.  T-Y.

I got the card in September. I put my name as the business, my home address for the business address, SSN for TIN and sole proprietor as business type. I put $0 for my annual business revenue/sales. I think you can put just about anything and they'll give it to you.

Any Sama Zama fans? Does she get much lunch traffic? Every time I'm there the dinner crowd is sparse.

The company I currently work for bottles their sauces for grocery.

I wish it did better business, the owner is super nice, the menu is unique and there aren't many Japanese restaurants in KC that aren't just bland sushi restaurants for white people. It's hard to compete though when 90% of the Westport crowd goes there specifically for Beer Kitchen and McCoys

Yeah, she's pretty awesome. I want it to succeed just because of her. The ramen is pretty legit. Maybe not NY ramen, but good. Hard for me to pass on the Yaki though. We've only been twice to the Westport location and both times there were fewer people than when she was out south in a smaller building.

do you get to talk to a British person when you call BA?

yes, and it takes freaking for ever to get through.

That be the truth. Called tonight for the first time and it took probably 25 minutes before I got an agent (British girl!). Going to NYC in May. Flying out on Friday and returning on Tuesday. Tons of flights were showing on AA, but only 1 of the 4 segments showed up on BA's site. Called and was able to book all flights. Told me there would be a $25 booking fee per passenger and I asked to have it waived since the flights weren't showing up on their site. She put me on hold for like 5 seconds and said she could waive it so only have to pay the $20 taxes.

So yeah, to back up what's already been said...long time getting an agent, British person, phone booking fee waived, and flights showing on AA were available by calling. I love this thread so much. San Fran, Costa Rica, and NYC in the last year and a half due to credit cards with many more places on the horizon! :AA:
