it's him. good job jay. doubt you had a choice though what with the gargantuan law suit that was looming (hypothetically). no hard feelings.   :bartender:

Lawsuit!!!! Good one!!!!!

I don't think you want to mess with BSAC

BSAC single handily took away Nubb's AAU membership

I have a sister who goes to school at KU and all she talks about is how ignorant you sob's are.

Sounds like a typical KU redneck to me. You know K-State grads make more money?  :kstategrad:
HA! do you have anything to backup that dumbass statement?

There's an entire thread about it. Use the search function maybe  :dunno:. Sorry to rain on your parade, but K-State is about as high class as it gets in the mid west.

Of course Mizzou fans are the poorest of the poor. They will fit in VERY well with schools like UK, SC, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

I've heard of Holocaust deniers, but slavery deniers? Goodness.

You Gay-State fans know that you are just a secondary college choice to most people of the state of Kansas. I would know i lived there for two years!! Kansas shits on your school as a whole. Just accept the fact that you are just a middle of the road big 12 school that will have their good years every once in a while.

There's no real argument against beating 3/5 BCS conference champions.. sucks right? Especially seeing how the BIG 12's toughest OOC games was us.

Good Game.

No it doesn't suck. Just because LSU beat WVU and Oregon, that does not make the SEC better than the entire Big East or Pac 12. Just because SC beat Clemson does not make the entire SEC better than the entire ACC.

I mean, if you want to play that game, then K-State beat Baylor who beat the MWC champion, who beat Boise, who beat Georgia (zomg, a powerhouse from this supposed impregnable league)

K-State must be better than the entire SEC East? Right?

Wrong.

When you're comparing head to head matchups, then they are relevant.

Quit with the 6 degrees of separation BS. Makes you look foolish.

You brought it on. Just because LSU beat Oregon and then cleaned house on a bunch of 6-6 teams in the SEC does not make the SEC better than the PAC 12. It doesn't.

Do you know the difference between head to head matchups and a team beating a team that beat another team that beat another team....? Or are they the same to you?

When teams from 1 conference beat the conference champions of 3 others then that makes a pretty damn good statement.

Since there can be no clear cut way to crown a NC (in your eyes) then why play the games at all? This is getting rather redundant.

Makes a decent case for that team I guess. Not the conference. There is no way to crown a true national champion with out a playoff. Basically there has never been a national champion in college football. I mean JFC, some years you have like 2 or 3 schools claiming a title? What a joke.

According to US News and World Report, the average income for a new graduate from Kansas State University is $28,732.  The average income for a new graduate from The University of Arkansas is $46,598.

It probably has something to do with having the second best Business College in The United States.  The most common occupation of a Kansas State Graduate is "Agricultural Laborer or Owner".  Whereas the most common occupation of an Arkansas Graduate is "Business Administration".

The statistics that most of you keep dredging up are skewed greatly by the Delta region of Arkansas.  NWA has leaps and bounds more wealth than Manhattan and the surrounding areas.

I'm a college of Ag graduate with a pretty damn good job. Helps to have one of the best Ag schools in the nation, Have you seen our Crops team trophy case?  :gocho:  I don't believe I know any "Agricultural laborers", and that could cover a very, very broad group of workers.

Wait why is the SEC better than the Big 12 this year?

6 teams in the Top 25, 4 in the Top 10 for starters.

You do know that part of the formula that determines final BCS positioning is the ranking of a team at the time you play them in the regular season, right?

And you do know that voting trends indicate that often voters will give SEC opponents higher rankings so that when an SEC team defeats them, they get additional points for beating a "ranked" team, even if that team goes on to lose every other game after that, right?

Saying SEC is better because of where a bunch of voters rank you is like bragging that your dick is big because every fat girl you've slept with has told you so.

Who has the Big Whatever played OOC, much less beaten? I found only 1 team currently ranked in the BCS: Baylor beating TCU in week 1.

SEC on the other hand:
LSU beat WVU and Oregon
Bama beat Penn St
S. Carolina beat Clemson
Georgia lost to Boise St.

All teams currently ranked in the BCS.

Again...do rankings really matter? I think some of you Hogz need to take a statistics class.

So says the man whose team is ranked below us.

Not what I'm getting at

Then what are you getting at? So do you think the Big Whatever is the better conference? If so, why? Make your case. Or not. Either way I don't care.

I'm saying it's mathematically impossible to know who should be ranked where, let alone #1 and #2. What's the difference between #6 and #8? Could #6 be #25? Could they be #1? Should number 8 even be ranked? How do you know?

You don't.

So sick of the "SEC is so much better derp derpity derp" talk when really you clowns have no rough ridin' clue what you're talking about.

And anyone can beat anyone any given day. Big rough ridin' deal.

Yeah, things like rankings, wins, quality of opponents.....don't matter. WTF ever.

How do you know who should be ranked where? How do you gauge the quality of an opponent? You can't. So STFU already about the SEC being the NFC or something.

I m not trying to fuel the fire, but 5 in a row is a pretty good argument.

No it isn't. The entire system is based upon an eyeball test of a 12-13 game season with 120 teams. It's impossible to know who the #1 and #2 team are. Do you guys honestly not understand this?

Just because those male genitals suckers on ESPN say the SEC is the next coming of Christ, does not make it true. There's no way to tell.

So what would you do? Have all 120 teams play each other?

No I understand it. Always have. And I don't agree with it either. Hell, I want a playoff but it isn't happening anytime soon. But I'm not going to be a whiny little bitch about it.

It is what it is. Live with it.

And the SEC is the best conference year in and year out. We know it. You know it. Deal with it.

Ok glad you're not Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!), but you still can't claim to be the best conference. You have no clue, and you know it.

It's pretty simple actually... We will keep saying we are the best until someone beats us in a NCG game.. or gives a losing record in OOC games in a season. What are we this year? 4-0 against OOC ranked teams? With two wins over other conferences champions? I think you need to re-evaluate your logic. It has never been more evident than this year. Past years I may have listened.

The NCG is meaningless and it always has been in college football, which is unfortunate.

Edit: Ranking's are especially meaningless.

How do we know Alabama is that good? Because they get to sit on their ass and play cupcakes every week? Other than Arkansas, Alabama hasn't beat anyone worth a crap. What's the difference between Alabama and Oklahoma?

Do rankings really matter? The voting system has boiled down to an SEC jerk fest and if the SEC played a round robin this would not be the case. Big 12 only lost 3 non conference games  :dunno:

Most of our fan base is on the "other sites". Anyone who has constructive criticism of anything regarding K-State football or basketball gets ridiculed and often banned. Most of those posters are typical Republicans that live in a box. Here at goEMAW you're allowed to do whatever the eff you want. Does it get out of hand sometimes? Absolutely. But it's the closest thing to free speech that exists for K-State BBSing.

Well if you like the Green Egg, you can't be all bad.

 :excited:

You should see the elite BGE threads. 'clams is an BGE'er too.
