I agree with this and by treats it means is he on staff or not. I'm fine with a holdover or 2 as long as Sean isn't one of them.

Guys....there will be a BIG CHANGE on the sidelines this year....before the gates opened up to the public today we were using playcards to send in plays....I was so excited and I watched carefully to see if they would put them away before gates opened and they did.

Happens a lot, ever wonder why we only have 4-5 seniors every year, and 15 freshman. Talk to almost any ex-player and none of them like Hill. He should have moved on after last year, he caught his lighting in a bottle.

There were no rendos on site, only a video which ADJC did make sure to say no pictures, videos, tweets were allowed about it so they "grand unveiling" could be tomorrow.

Announcement will be prior to kickoff, there will also be an announcement at the Auction tomorrow night for anyone attending that. Bad news though it sounds like the NE corner might get left out for a while because of the time it would take to remove part of section 28.

Populous will be the architect for NEZ, The North side of Vanier will be very castle, picture a mini-WSC. 2 Big Columns in the middle and the big arched windows on each side. The stadium side though...WOW:
It will have 2 corner boards NE/NW, the concourse level will match up with East/West side you can walk around the stadium and seating will basically match the west side just wrapped around, except there are 2 triangles in front of the corner boards that are a grassy terrace, and 2 tunnels...the existing road will become a tunnel, with another in the opposite corner. I saw pictures today and all I can say is wow...looks like they are planning on turning the grassy area N/E of Vanier into another tailgating zone too as lots of tents were placed in those areas.

what I saw the building itself did not connect to either the east/west side...looks like it could in the future if they wanted to however....
and the video boards were angled in.
There was a lot more glass, and I think one of the slides showed the weight room with an awful lot of natural light coming in...but don't hold me to that.
The locker room itself was one giant circle...looked kinda awkard...but good to address the whole team at once I guess compared to all the "cubicles" they have now.

« on: January 29, 2014, 04:43:30 PM »took me a solid 3-5 minutes to whip this up on MSPaint. tell me how far off and we can make adjustments and release this to the public asap.
Not too far off from what I saw...grassy areas are smaller, (seats just start to angle) tunnels both need to move right next to grassy areas, vanier is taller with the "turrets" on the ends, and there is a bigger "turret" in the center that is the front entryway.

« on: January 23, 2014, 11:05:22 PM »you guys know that stat boards or whatever that were down for half the year. i heard it was because they forgot to take out the controls for those boards when they imploded the pbox. crazy, huh?
Sounds like those will still be there next year, but when the new South Video board comes it will expand to the width of the stat boards, and become taller according to someone I talked to today who saw a rendering.
