I tried out a new medium for an informative season preview. I hope you enjoy.

Let's go win the whole banana.

Even though we didn't get any points, this first drive makes me so happy. Over 7 minutes to go 40 yards! Look how much better he makes our defense--they might not give up any points in a whole quarter!

TOO BAD HE CAN'T THROW.

Hey, Wildcat fans. CanCo here.

It's been a tough week for everyone on this board, first with the death of Seamus Healy and then with Friday night's loss to NDSU. But as the famed poet Fabolous tells us: Pressure makes diamonds / [We] was made to shine.

And so, I put my new gallery opening in Vancouver on hold to create a diamond with SkinnyBenny in this collabo mixed media project. I was honored last week when SB (the Internet's finest K-State Rebel BBS Parody Composer) secretly asked me to submit a few works for his Weird Robert song, so it made perfect sense to expand our partnership here.

We love #LiFE. We also know it's important to stay #hydrated. Two great QBs--one great song.

Cats, man.

Looking forward to the day when posters who are not mercurial MS Paint enthusiasts are bumping this thread.

Touchdown Stud, sidelined.
Wildcats sans Sams? Can't stand, man.
Choose #LiFE, Bill. Choose #LiFE.

That was for you, @Daris.

Why would Daniel stay home over winter break only to skip spring practices? I call BS.
Maybe he had warrants out on him back home

Big surprise. Known bad person Frankenklein is  :opcat:.

Head on over to the other board. #1catexceptfrankenklein

This is the official thread for those of us who just can't quit Daniel Sams as a starting QB. We look forward to you getting a little bit better every day, continuing to row the boat, not placing limitations on yourself, etc, until you assume your rightful place as the #1QB for the Kansas Purple State EMAWCats. Whether that happens next week, next month, next year, or in 2015, know that your old pal CanConfirm can confirm that you are a boss stud touchdown machine.

UNBREAKABLE RULE FOR THIS THREAD FOR TRUE CAT FANS AND 1CAT PRACTITIONERS: This is not an anti-Waters thread. If Daniel is not anti-Waters, we can't be either.

Hey, Gang. CanCo here.

I just finished meeting up with the Manhattan Arts & Humanities Advisory Board. (Sometimes I do pro bono stuff.) They asked me to make some recommendations on how to make a statue more culturally sensitive, and it turns out it's the very statue you guys are discussing!

Well, I made some rendos for them, and they loved them. Looks like this sculpture will be coming to a roundabout near you this summer!

Go cats, ftpo.

Hey, Gang. It's your old pal CanConfirm here.

My apologies for the extended absence--I've been named Creative Director of Jay-Z's new agency, so I haven't had a whole lot of time to focus on LHOFHCBS and his fighting SnyderCats. But, like these Wild Wild Cats we all hold so dear, I have emerged from my hibernation this spring and am once again on the prowl, hunting for more Dr. Peppers.

Even though I've been rubbing elbows with H.O.V.A's associates in various VIP lounges for the past few months, I've been closely monitoring the whole Sams/Waters debate. And _Fan, while you know I respect your work, I personally think this thread is silly. I mean, technically there's a "choice," and LHOFBill's gonna LHOFBill, but we all know this battle has a winner who was awarded this job by Divine Right.

With apologies to Pissclams, his trolling, and his five(?)-thread bracket to pick Jake Waters's moniker, his true nickname is "#Life Insurance," because that's all he is, and that's all he will ever be*.

*Apologies if this nickname is CanLuked.

Hey, Gang. CanCo here.

Sorry for my absence from the board for a while--I feel like I've been away for longer than half of Methuselah's birthdays! Anyway, I hope you're all doing well and getting ready for the Passiontide, which this year starts around the exact same time that the chicken nuggets Cats should be cutting down the nets in Kemper.

As you can tell from EMADUB's posts, it was a wild ride for our Junkyard Crusaders this year. Despite our loss to known PED-users Maranatha, I am proud to call myself one of the 187 to witness (as in "view", not "witness" in the religious sense) this magical season :peek:.  I know I speak for all of us here on goEMAW.com when I say that I hope next season comes as quickly as Joseph made ready his chariot to go to Goshen! Our boys have the ferocity of the Assyrians and the devotion and courage of Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego, so I have no doubt we will bring home the hardware next year.

Anyway, here's a picture I snapped from our game against Multnomah.

Crusaders, man. Crusaders.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to make my way to Rome to meet up with my old pal JMB to chat with him about his new job.

PS. EMADUB wins all Csourkys this year. Case closed.

Hey, guys. CanCo here.

Just got off of a conference call with my business partners Pissclams, _33, and Dlew12 (still trying to convince _FAN to come on board) and some representatives from K-State.  Good news! CaptainCrap said we had the go-ahead to print all of these bad boys as long as they were marketed exclusively to studs.

It's a good thing we got the approval, because I'm in Bali trying to get some inspiration for my next gallery opening, and I had already contracted with some locals to make these. They should be hitting the shelves at your local high-end retail stores by the end of January. Pre-order starts Monday.

Good luck selling your pud banners to puds, owl borland.  (No hard feelings, it's just business.)

GFA and Pete, I appreciate the zeal with which you responded. However, I hope this isn't actually "/thread."

LLIQ here:

1) What if I drive in a big pothole and one of the wheels falls off? Does the dealer fix it?
2) How do taxes work for leases? I have a Canadian friend who lives in an area with high sales tax, so the tax bill on an outright purchase for him is pretty steep.
3) Do I have to return the car in pristine condition? That might be a problem, as I have some Canadian friends in the backseat who sometimes like to drink a few too many Bud Light Limes and can make a car pretty dirty pretty quickly.

I'll listen hang up and listen off air. Thanks to anyone with HLIQ who answers these (and other!) questions.

Hey, Gang. CanCo here.

Buying or leasing a new car in the next few days. Not sure which makes sense, would love to hear from some absolute studs who have done something similar in the past. Also, I didn't want to include this in KatKid's thread, since this seems like a different discussion.

Background:
The car being purchased/leased is big enough for current CanConFamily and hauling art to various shows, but the family might expand in the next few years. Thus why leasing is part of the equation.

Questions for goEMAW elites:
1) Do you get absolutely fleeced on leasing a car, or is it a way better deal than buying new?
2) What are the benefits (free service, etc) on leases?
3) Car might be used for road trips to KSU Cat Purple University games. Does it make sense to lease (mileage restriction) if long trips will be taken?
4) What else?

Obviously I'm :kstategrad:, but hate the idea of giving extra cash to KStateCars.com or similar when I could be spending it on other elite things like having McArabias flown in for lunch.

Here is how I got a good deal on a new car after I figured out exactly what I wanted.  First, I went to the local place and got  a qoute from them.  Then I emailed every dealership that sold the same brand in about a 3 hour radius asking if they could beat that price.  When I got a qoute that was significantly below kbb/edmunds/ etc I took it into the local place and they matched the price with no hassle.

goEMAW.com user CanConfirm using this strategy as we speak to start a bidding war between a few dealers. goEMAW saves the day again.  :gocho:

Mummy baby

Pretty LSCIQ right there from goEMAW.com message board poster CNS Casey right here. There were no mummies at the MangerPAK.

Needs more frankincense.

Just look at the "Three Kings of EMAWrient Are" (aka "The EMAWgi"), goEMAW.com Mod Pete. It's there.

Not to Katdaddy it up in here, but is that a camel penis or a sheep tail?

Rest assured, friends, all CanConfirm postings are PG. (Kind of like how Seinfeld "works clean" to up the degree of difficulty in his comedy. Thujone is Louis CK--very funny, but also has a dirty-word crutch.)

goEMAW.com Premium Sheep Board Expert RickRampus, please inform user Pittcat and user CanConfirm which sheep breed is shown in this picture.

Thanks CanCo, Merry Christmas to you, too.

Hey, Gang. CanCoClaus here.

My church group decided to take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land this year for the holiday season. I snuck off from the group tonight (Israel time) and wandered around the desert for a little while--and came upon this scene. It was a truly wonderful experience.

HE IS RISEN!

Go 'Cats, thanks for the memzies.

Bumping this because I posted it on Saturday morning and not many were around to see it.

I don't know about you, but Harper was pretty Apollo-ey last night. What an absolute freak and stud. Love that guy--he has slowly risen in my "Favorite Wild Wild Cats of All Time" list, and frankly, I don't think he gets enough love.

I would have given all the MS paints in the world to be at The BSFS last night.

Usually, I post a predicto and let you all do the interpreting yourself. However, since this week's will be the first of a two-part series, I thought I would give you some insight into the artist's mind for this one.

Hey, Gang. A rejuvenated CanCo here.

When I sat down this week to do my predicto, I wanted to honor three of the greatest Scuba Duplex Wild Wild MMMBop Cats that ever lived. I thought about putting four seniors (the obvious three + Finney) on Mount Rushmore, but I've already done the Mount Rushmore thing. And I thought about comparing them to biblical characters, but that didn't work out so well two weeks ago, so I skipped that.

And then it hit me: where does a KSU Purple University football player go when his time is done at The BSFS? Well, the Vikings had Valhalla. The Greek (and Roman) gods looked down on humanity from Mount Olympus.

On Saturday, Collin Klein, Arthur Brown, and Chris Harper will join the Wildcats of old and ascend to watch over us forevermore from Mount K-State0.

Go 'Cats, thanks for the memzies.
 :ksu: :lynchmob: :katpak:

Because our UT friends viewing this board received a terrible education and can't understand the photo above, let me offer some assistance in the form of a MartaviousDNR:

Klein : Zeus--Both throw lightning bolts from their arms. Both run the show. Both fathered (or will father) incredibly strong offspring.

Brown : Mars--The obvious thing to do here would be to make AB something related to Justice, given that his legal middle name is "The Judge." However, as Trim and BSAC know, Justice is not only blind, she is also a lady.

Instead, Arthur is depicted here as the Roman god Mars, who was second only to Jupiter. Mars used force (tackles and interceptions and stares and stuff) to achieve submission from the opponent and peace (wins). Mars is also an agricultural god (meat goats) who was beloved by the Roman people (goEMAW) and was thought to be...umm...extremely virile.

Harper : Apollo--One might be tempted to make CH3 into Mercury (because of his speed) or Nike (god of Victory/obvious Oregon comparos). But that is shortsighted.

Being that he is the son of Zeus, Apollo can only exist because of Zeus--just as Harper can only show he is the best receiver walking the Earth right now because of the lightning bolt arm of Collin Klein. Apollo was also a god of many different realms of life, just as Chris Harper is the god of many different aspects of the receiver position (speed, ability to make big catches, hands, trash-talking, stiff-arming like a boss, etc). Apollo is frequently connected with both the Sun and the arts. Similarly, Chris Harper brings light and happiness to every EMAW's life with his good looks, good-smellingness, and adorableness.

Snyder : Icarus--He schemed just a little bit too close to the sun.

Weiss : Sisyphus--If you don't know, Google it.

Hey, Gang. A saddened CanCo here.

The past week-plus has been pretty tough on your old pal CanConfirm. Ever since the Baylor game I had been pretty bummed, had been grumpy to those around me, and had even severely limited my BBSing. The pain was just too great.  Now I know how Picasso felt during his Blue Period.

Like many of you, I love these KSU Scuba Duplex MMMbop Cats so much, and was sad to see our hopes for the Sears go down in flames. Nevertheless, I am extremely happy with this group of Cats and love them as much or more than any Cat team I can remember. At the beginning of the year, if you had told me we'd go 11-1, be super adorable, and win a Dr. Pepper (FINGERS CROSSED), I would have taken it in a heartbeat.

That being said, because I didn't have to do a predicto last week due to the bye, I thought a little art therapy might help me get over the blues. I crafted this work for everyone on my favorite website goEMAW.com, and I hope it helps you as much as it helped me.

Now chin-up, Cat Fans! We've got a CTR to win!

WE MUST PROTECT THIS TRAIL.

I was hoping that this work would spark a lot of "Who is that one? Is it me?" type posts, but then we played a football game that ended up being much more of a Last Supper than anyone wanted. (Pretty please resurrect in time for Texas  :crossfingers:)  Here are the answers, from left to right:

Fanning, Winters (chocolate milk because he's like, 14), Trim (punches/chokes guys out), Beems (in Judas position), MichiganCat (music headphones, SF wrap), Dlew, Fatty, KatKid (Tortuga), MIR, steve dave, _FAN (giant football brain), PW, FelixRex (McArabia).
