strange to amass 12k+ posts and then just disappear completely.  either something bad happened to him or he decided he was ashamed of the time he was spending here.

Catholics do lots of good with that money too. Does  scientology do charitable work? I'd be surprised if it was very prevalent.

As an atheist, I feel comfortable stating that scientology is a "worse" religion than many others

more than tithithing for works and support and infrastructure and whatever, scientology is worse because you pay for spiritual advancement. your level of spiritual enlightenment is directly related to how much money you give. pay to play.

How would sys know if you are allergic to copperheads or not?

allergies develop after exposure to an allergen.  bigwillie hasn't been bitten before, so unless he's been huffing dried copperhead venom with ben ji's father, he's not allergic.

So you will not have a reaction the first time you are exposed to an allergen?

the first one just primes your body to freak out the next time.  sets the stage.

Well let's give the liberal OBL media a big whoop for their inability to make fun on the budget crisis in Obamaland Illinois and Chicago like they made of Kansas.  Rahmbo has cut the budget and raised taxes, he is torquing off everyone.  The teachers are contributing to their pensions for the first time and are angry.  Why isn't this funny to Mr. Stewart and you sacromonical progressive liberals.  A foreshadowing of MG Clinton hell.

Illinois has a pub governor.

People were pissed about the batmobile being so involved I think.  The thing is it's difficult at first but once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun too.

sys technically didn't say the laws were too strict...

well, that's what i meant.  they're ridiculous.  "driving drunk" treats a continuous variable (degree impaired) as a binary condition and punishes many one-time, scarcely impaired violators by effectively making them unemployable - aside from other penalties.

other comparable impairments (tired, texting, eating, reading, watching video, etc, etc, etc) are either not prohibited, prohibitions are not enforced or penalties are orders of magnitude lesser.

society is not served by rendering otherwise productive people unemployable.  nor is it just.

you have a very poor grasp on what happens to first time dui offenders.  and not all laws treat a continuous variable (degree impaired) as a binary condition.

i agree though.  people should be able to drink and drive all they want.  i mean they might lose their jobs by choices they voluntarily made and that's not just.  i mean people need jobs and they can't be responsible for the crap they get up to.

and hey if somebody doesn't want to have sex with you, but you'd really like to, go ahead and eff their brains out if you can pull it off.  somebody got something that you'd like to have?  can you take it from them?  rough ridin' do it then.  criminal laws are for the unsophisticated and the pedestrian when you take into consideration that as a result of violations of such artificial constructs people face concrete, real-world consequences like the loss of gainful employment.

it's like society has lost its collective mind when these types of tradeoffs are routinely being made.  my thought balloon for your ability to provide for your family.  insanity sys, insanity.

ratm has personal feelings about this and he thinks that's the same as knowing what the law allows.  he's got crap for his brains obvs.

The EEOC's website makes it pretty clear that you can't legally refuse to hire somebody because they have an accent, though.

actually, it very clearly says that you can - if the accent would interfere with the applicant's job performance.  accent is a part of language proficiency, it would be ludicrous to suggest that you couldn't make language proficiency a qualification for a job.

...and is not job-related or necessary to the operation of the business.

An employer can only require an employee to speak fluent English if fluency in English is necessary to perform the job effectively. An “English-only rule”, which requires employees to speak only English on the job, is only allowed if it is needed to ensure the safe or efficient operation of the employer’s business and is put in place for nondiscriminatory reasons.

An employer may not base an employment decision on an employee’s foreign accent, unless the accent seriously interferes with the employee’s job performance.

Yeah, it's legal to not hire somebody because of their accent if you can justify it with a whole bunch of vaguely defined tests that may or may not hold up in court. It's quite possible that Mrs. Gooch's office already employs somebody with poor English skills (someone like WackyCat), which would make refusing to hire this guy who very likely has a better mastery of the English language less defendable.

if the dumbass who already works there and is terrible at speaking/writing the english language holds a different position that doesn't require it, then no it isn't that difficult to distinguish from the prospective hire if the job they want does.

get a load of captain thinks he knows what's legal and illegal over here.  talking a steady stream of nonsense straight out of your bad person isn't knowing the law.  sys tried to correct course on your dumbassery and you were all "nope, nope i'm rough ridin' doing this."

They look like Kroger brand pilot g-2s.

John Wick - started off looking like one of the most revengiest of revenge flicks I have seen in a long time.  It tried to be stylish and action filled but honestly the movie got more meh as it went along.  I really don't think the human death toll was justified by the event that set him off to begin with.  I mean yeah killing a guy's puppy is a total dick move but Wick killed like 78 people in retaliation.  Seriously it was about 78, I even Googled "John Wick death toll" because at one point I started laughing at the absurd amount of people Wick was killing.

what did you think about how he kept getting his ass handed to him by that one random henchman?  he's supposed to be this super elite hitman killer and unnamed henchman #12 keeps kicking his ass at every turn.

I bet winters is wearing a Dixie cup on a string and nothing more, just letting his peaches live and breath.

It's actually shekels that you're supposed to pay to dads for the rapes you do.  Don't want anyone embarrassing themselves.  That could be awkward.

23
Look if you secular shitbrains don't get that it isn't evil to enslave people and it's nbd to rape a girl as long as you marry her or pay her dad some shickels, but it's rough ridin' evil as all get out to consensually stick your weemus into another dude's joe hole then you're too rough ridin' stupid to discuss this with any further.

Other people can't do certain things if it violates what you make believe in and that's rough ridin' that.
